It was insinuated that this company was van line, come to find out they were just a broker for a mover. I had already put my money down by the time I found out and there was nothing that I can do about it. They did not come out and give an estimate, they just did a generic estimate over the phone, I let them know I do not think that what they are quoting me is going to be able to cover, I was going to need more boxes. He assured me they were probably over estimating and might have to give some of the money back. I asked when I would hear back from someone about the estimate, they did not contact me until 2 weeks before the move, they then started to add additional fees. I did not find out when the mover was coming until the very last minute. I called into the call center and the person I spoke with was very rude. He stated how it was my fault the estimate was wrong, I gave them the wrong amount of the items in my home. There was binding fee, I asked what that was about, and he was very rude about answering the questions. He actually said, "it's your fault, you should have done your homework."
