We woke up Saturday to a huge flood. We were not happy with the neighbor's recommendation of a plumber so I turned to Angie's List and found David. He was wonderful, very professional, spent time discussing water heater options with me, very patient and gave me places online to look so that I was satisfied with my options. I had to work Monday but he came and inspected the water heater and texted me an estimate right away so I could start the work as soon as possible. He came exactly when he said he would on Tuesday, got the work done right away, and it is all great. He also replaced the shut off valve to the water heater which had failed. You have to see his truck, it is like a mini-workshop inside and you can tell he designed it himself; a very smart guy. We even hired him to replace the three other valves on the house with levers and he was just as professional for this smaller job. He was running a bit late (10 minutes maybe) and texted me to let me know he was at the store getting our supplies - I really appreciated that as I did not have to worry about missing his call or getting woken by an early call. And he was very patient with my very crazy dog. Finally, he was able to move our fridge (stuck in place for some time) to help us get to the broken water line. All in all we are very very happy with him!

David is outstanding. Very punctual, honest, does repairs quickly and is reasonably priced. We have used him before and have had consistently great experiences. I don't usually do these reports but this company is so good they're worthy of my time to write this. I would rank him #1 among all the various types of trades people we have used (which are a lot).

Overall it was a very satisfying experience. The person who came, David Burleigh, was very professional and friendly. He did not make a mess and cleaned up what little dirt there was before leaving. I WILL use them again if I need a plumber.

They were professional and we felt that our money was well spent hiring them to do the job. They did a good job and was late once because it was raining really bad. They also cleaned up after themselves.

I called late morning and David answered, he said he could get to me in about two hours, he was right on time.He dug out the hole for pipe, repaired a large section of it, and showed me everything he had done, was super helpful and nice.he stayed around until he could turn water on to double check leak was completely sealed, which i thought was a nice touch as he could have took off and showed me how to do this. total time about an hour and a half.his pricing was exactly as quoted which i thought was extremely good value. I will be giving davids business card to everyone i know who needs a plumber for sure, and happy to have found an honest business man who does good work.ce line pipe

Our questions were answered knowledgeably. Phone calls and emails were returned promptly. All in all, great service.

Dave was great. While installing my new water heater he pointed out a serious electrical problem with the installation. He did not try to fix it himself. instead he contacted an electrician that promply came and fixed the problem. He was prompt, polite and cleaned up after himself. He was honest and gave advice that meant losing a possible job. I have several projects scheduled to be completed in the next 6 months and he will be doing all of the plumbing.

Its of course very important to make the tenants happy. In general they were happy to be serviced, but not with the use of their sponge and towel.

We contacted ABM Plumbing yesterday (August 6, 2011) after researching Angie's List. After we described our problem, we were given guidelines about what parts of the plumbing system to avoid using until a company workperson could get to us (August 7, 2011 between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m.). The worker arrived as scheduled, assessed the problem and started to work on the drains from the roof. After about an hour, he told us he needed a different size snake to complete the job. He told us he would be gone about 45 minutes and return to complete the work. He was back as scheduled and completed the snaking. In the process, he snaked the tub drain, something another company said they could not do 3 years ago when we had a similar problem. He explained why that drain would continue to operate a little slower than the others, again information I had been unaware of. Since there was still water on the floor, he determined it may have been coming from the toilet. Once he figured out where the leak originated he reseated the toilet and caulked around the base. When he finished, we spoke with the owner who told us what the next step would be should the problem recur soon. All in all, I was very impressed with the performance of this company. The cost was very reasonable in comparison to another non-Angie's List quote, and the service and workmen exemplary. They will stay on our list of providers we will use in the future should it be necessary.

Dave was prompt, did everything he said he was going to do, gave me estimates all along the way, and explained everything he did. He was very aware of how much everything was going to cost, and was concerned about saving us money. Replacing the iron pipe, and then opening the wall to get to the other leak, took a lot of time, but we know the job was done right, and we would have no more problems. We will only used Dave in the future and reccommend him highly.

The service man arrived promptlly, and provided an estimate. Then completed the work.

I spoke with him and we agreed that I would purchase a garbage disposal that he would install. He arrived on time and removed the old disposal. His assistant installed the new disposal while he diagnosed the problem with the leaky faucet. He told me at that time that he would need to look for the part as it's old and he was not sure he would be able to find it. He later called to let me know he found the part and would install it. Repair of the leaky faucet was not easy as he had to locate and turn off the water to the house. But the repair seems to have worked. No more drips.

Overall it was a good experience. I will use ABM again in the future.

I called him at 6pm and he made an appointment with me for the following morning as I asked. He was prompt and courteous and did an excellent and professional job. Would not use anyone else.

He snaked the pipe and that solved the problem. He also informed us that this will likely happen again, and told us how to handle the situation when it does. He gave me contact information for a public adjuster who will help our insurance cover the cost of eventually fixing the pipe issue. He was very friendly and professional. I highly recommend A B M Plumbing.

I provided him with the replacement parts. He removed the old parts, installed the new parts, added another part he said was needed, without extra charge and left the area completely clean.

I emailed Dave and told him we were ready to put in a new toilet. He suggested a local plumbing showroom so we could go and select the toilet we wanted. Decided on a Toto model and gave the info to Dave. He went and got the toilet, delivered it, and installed it. This was no easy task because the new toilet did not fit the existing layout. We could have selected a different toilet that would fit, but didn't like the models available...and we really liked the Toto toilet, since we already had one in our master bath. So, after discussing the situation, Dave installed the Toto using an offset phlange. Some people say that this inhibits the flow of the toilet a little, but we decided to take the chance because the Toto has such a good flushing mechanism. So far, so good. Dave did a great job.

Everything was simple and professional. The owner gave a consultation over the phone so that the parts were ready to go when he arrived. He was extremely professional and conscious of our time and money. Will definitely use him again.

His prices were fair, he detailed the cost before he started, he came on time (to fit our schedule) and we would use him again.

I feel that the lack of response indicates that this plumber did not want additional business, so I went elsewhere.

We have a bidet, which leaked through the floor onto the ceiling below. Another plumber told us he would have to tear up the floor to find the leak. We never fixed it until we called AMB. Dave came to the house on time and talked with me about the problem. He said it was not necessary to tear up the floor, as it he could fix it easier if he cut a small hole in the ceiling. He explained this would cost us less in time to repair the leak as well as to repair the ceiling. He found the leak was not even under the bidet, and he did not have to cut a hole in the ceiling. He was able to replace a cracked fitting in a short amount of time. We couldn't be more pleased with his honesty and professionalism.

I was replacing the cartridge on a Moen single handle tub faucet. I couldn't get the cartridge out, even with the special tool. I decided that if I continued, I might do more damage. I have done this before and it wasn't this difficult. I sent an e-mail to ABM and got a phone call back within a half hour. I explained the problem to Dave and he said that someone would be out between 8:30 and 9 A.M. the next morning. I wasn't here, but the wife said that the plumber arrived between the times stated. He replaced the cartridge and was done in 1/2 hour. He cleaned up after himself. Plumbers are kind of expensive, so I don't know where $95 falls in the price range. The key is that he was able to replace something that I couldn't and I didn't need to spend big bucks replacing the whole faucet.

Professional service, gave suggestions and options, would recommend to anyone.

Not knowing what to expect, I was somewhat leery initially about contacting a service provider from Angie's list. I called Dave in the morning and he said he had two other jobs but would call before coming over. True to his word, he did just that. He quickly identified the source of the leak, the faulty tub faucet and the connecting pipe which was bent. I braced myself prior to getting his quote for the job, but was relieved and pleasantly surprised when he told me how much the job would cost. He set to work quickly and was finished in no time at all. Dave was personable, honest, knowledgeable and very reasonable. Do I sound like a fan? You bet. I will definitely use Dave in the future for any of my plumbing needs.

Out of the 20+ contractors I've had working on my house remodel these past months, I'd only recommend three of them. ABM Plumbing is one of those three. I have high standards and expect the best from people I hire, and David is one of the few contractors who didn't let me down and surpassed my expectations. Not only does he do great work, but his genuinely friendly personality makes you feel comfortable having him in your house. (Believe me, I've had lots of people working in my house that made me uneasy in either their appearance or personality.) David was punctual, and also important to me, he was willing to be flexible with my hectic schedule. He was neat too, which isn't easy to come by either. If you've dealt with lots of people in your home, then you know how tough it can be to find a good guy who also does good work in South Florida like David. I have no qualms recommending ABM to friends and family.
