Beacon Air & Heat

Chris came to check out my dryer after I had several people look at (1 being a local company that was useless and cost me money but never fixing it). Chris was awesome. He found the actual problem really easy and we will be ordering the part (and hopefully after a month of not having a working dryer) we will have one in the next week. Beacon is very honest and very fair and customer service was exceptional as well. I highly recommend them.

VERY PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS. IT'S HARD TO FIND AN A/C COMPANY THAT IS AS HONEST AS THESE GUYS. WILL MAKE THE REPAIRS THAT ARE NEEDED AND NO SELL TACTICS. THESE GUYS ARE GREAT . I WILL BE THEIR CUSTOMER AS LONG AS THEY WILL HAVE ME. I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT BEACON. WOULD NEVER CALL ANYONE ELSE.

Excellent. Called several companies and Beacon was the only one that could come that day. Sean arrived about 4 pm and did an awesome job of bypassing the control board and getting the AC up and running until it could be replaced. I was very impressed with this young man who spent three hours troubleshooting the system to ensure it would keep us comfortable until it could be replaced.

Beacon sent a tech out within a couple of hours of my call, which was fantastic given the situation. The tech (Sean) arrived a few minutes ahead of schedule, identified the issue and was able to locate our mysterious condensate drain buried conveniently under several inches of mud. He then connected new piping to the end so that the line is now accessible in case problems arise in the future. He also answered many questions concerning my AC performance and installation. Polite, knowledgeable, professional and for a price that was less than most AC repair companies charge just to set foot in your doorway. Beacon Air and Heat has earned a customer for life here and I'd highly recommend them to anyone needing assistance with a problematic AC unit.

On Wed 7/15 The owner"s son said he would be here at 9:00 and showed at 8:45, early. He spent the entire day and didn't leave until 6:00 or so. He only had one person to help put in a new slab and move the new outside unit. His father showed to make sure everything was ok and was here for about an hour. It was pouring rain when he was working outside for some of it and made a make shift unbrella from the old unit. He blocked off the door so cat fur and sand would not go under the door. We got an Air Temp which is made on the line of maytag. Very nice and liked to take which my husband likes. He diseves a raise.

I have used them for years and they are excellent. They are polite and on time. They always get the job done.

The service was fine. The workers were fine. They showed up when they said they would. It took them probably an hour to complete the job. I think one guy came out to do it.

My service technician was Chris. He was very professional and courteous. He identified the problem and also explained to me what the part did and why it failed. He repaired it quickly and made sure it was working properly, before he left. The only minor complaint I have is the part cost a lot to have shipped (because it was out of stock) and I had to wait from Monday afternoon until Wednesday afternoon for them to get it and have it installed. Beacon did call me and inform me of the additional cost--in advance--and asked me if I still wanted them to order it. Also, the price Beacon charged me for the expansion valve was $200 LESS than a competitor quoted me on that exact same part--so, it was worth that minor inconvenience. I will recommend Beacon to all my friends and co-workers.

Worker showed up on time and performed A/C unit inspection. He replaced hosing at no additional cost and educated us on a ferw things to do to improve the unit's performance

All I - we can say is, Don't take a chance on Others, these are Christian Honest People... Nobody else will work on our systrem but Beacon......

Tech was on time (early by about 20 min.) Friendly, easy going. He explained everything as he want and what we could do to keep A/C running. He told us what all the numbers meant for the different catories when he tested the unit. Tech spent an hour and a half to wash, vacuum, service, put new insulation on a hose, took apart outside unit to clean and make sure it all worked smoothly. He was very thorough. I will definatley use them again. Price was well worth the effort. Highley recommend AAA+++.

Tech provided great maintenance service to my mother's A/C condensing unit a few years after his company had done the installation. Both experiences were great; the company performs no unnecessary work & is very fair in their pricing for the work that does need to be done.

I was told by another Repair , Rip Off that our compressor was totally shot and wanted approx. $4,000 to repair. I called these folks and never said a word about our problem other than no heat. Haha, Their repair man wasn't here 5 mins. and advised a wire was not put on correctly and the compressor wouldn't kick on with this wire crossed. The total charge that time was $65.00 for the total service call.

After the prior experience with another local company prior to belonging to Angie's List, these People are the best. They address the problem and don't sell, sell, sell, Very Honest and punctual. Thank you for being so HONEST.
