+ -1 moreOk, the price was a lot higher then the price quoted to me by Home Advisor so he contacted his boss and he came up $60 over the original quote. I wanted a separate light switch, but he did not want to run another light switch probably because I did not pay the very cost he quoted, so he wired the 3 LED ceiling lights to an existing ceiling fan with a light so I have to turn the 3 ceiling lights on with that switch which in inconvenient now since the fan stopped working not long after that electrical hookup. Now I have to hire another electrician to do what I originally wanted from Mister Sparky!
Description of Work: wire 3 4 foot by 18 inch LED ceiling lights which I mounted and supplied the other materials for the electrician to wire them

Description of Work: electrical outlets GFI and installed a power surge protector in my garage after explaining why One should be installed this was on first visit that I called for. Fire alarms beeping even after I had replaced them with one ones he checked them all worked until problem was corrected this was the second visit to my home where I had called for the company to come out

+ 0 more1 ST OUT, HE SAID WIRING WAS GOOD, MUST BE WATER HEATER. CALLED THE FACTORY AND SENT ANOTHER. Again, no power to wh, he came out back out, still no conculison. Went to home depot. bought another Rheem, he came out again and realized one of the fingers in the breaker box was broken off. he moved my two dlb 40 amps to a vacant space and then it worked. 2 weeks with no hot water, wife was mad. will no recommend sparky again.

+ 1 moreNot well, new electrician, fan in lanai not completed & unable to turn on with switch, I had to go search for right length of rod on fans. They had to come back 3 times to complete job and correctly fix closet light. Added charges each time came & tried to charge extra for coming back the 3rd time to finally get the closet light to actually work correctly, continued to do the same thing it was doing after 2 times & on the 3rd day someone who actually new what they were doing got it fixed. The closet light was my main concern as it seemed to me to be a hazard. The 2nd day the new electrician came with a different guy purportedly “more experience”. They fixed the lanai fan on the 2nd day & thought they fixed the closet light but didn’t & charged me for the 2nd trip here. I refused to pay the 3rd time as I felt if they didn’t fix it the 1st time I shouldn’t have had to pay more, although they did fleece me for the 2nd trip here!
Description of Work: New ceiling fans x 2, light over kitchen bar, fix closet light and installed new breaker switch.

+ 0 moreVery fine work on all above work except for the installation of the UV Light in the AC. I had a scheduled maintenance appointment with my AC company. The very experienced maintenance person found serious flaws with the UV light installation. 1. he found exposed wires which could short out the system. Second, the light was installed in the wrong place; it was in the duct work, rather in the chamber focusing on the coils. He corrected both of these problems, for $145. Patrick of Mr. Sparky had explained that this was the first installation he had done, so that partly explains the poor location, but it does not excuse the exposed wires. it is for this installation that I rated a C. I am not sure I would contact Mr. Sparky again.
