This is my second time using Sead and his men. Once again, I couldn't have been happier. Hard working, punctual, attentive to detail, courteous, responsive. I would highly recommend him to anyone for larger jobs (used him last year for that) and small handyman tasks as well.

I cannot recommend DIHS enough, the service was great! Sterling was very professional and did an awesome job.

Sead came out for an estimate for my kitchen re-facing. He was very profesional and knowledgeable. We contracted him for the work. They did an excellent job. They were on time and came every day until the work was done. They pay close attention to details and to customer service. The quality of work and outcome was outstanding. The price was very fair.

Provider was very punctual and nice. Did all the work requested at a good pace and cleaned up after himself. I recommend this provider.

the two jobs turned out amazing. the first job was done on time and on budget, clean and polite workers who treated our home as if was their own. while it took 3 tries to get the hot water issues fixed including installing a jumper tankless heater in tandem with the system. Sead troubled shoot this issue, researching it and also called the manufacturer and got specs to run it tandem. now we have unlimited hot water to the spa shower / tub. the exterior paint job was an extensive project due to all the previous contractors work and patches of raw concrete that needed to be prepped and primed prior to painting. the exterior looks stunning. we are now discussing hiring DIHS for additional projects based on his previous work!

I'd been searching for months for a reliable and trustworthy remodeler. One had come and wrecked the bathroom and never showed up again because he had another job and did not have a license to operate nor insurance. Leaving the bathroom inoperable. I saw a commercial from Angie and decided to join. A customer service rep from Angie heard me out and suggested three of their contractors. I decided on DIHS given how quickly he got back to me and came to see the bathroom. We agreed on an estimate and he delivered on it. His price was very competitive. He told me step by step the process. He obtained all the permits and licenses much quicker than others had told me it would take. He showed up everyday to work on the bathroom and did an outstanding job. This was the single best contractor I have ever worked with. Whenever he addressed an issue, solved a problem or made an excellent suggestion my husband and I would ask each other in amazement, "Do you believe this guy"?!. He saved us money and delivered a beautiful job. The most extraordinary thing is that he dealt with the incompetent Supplier of fixtures with patience, competence and resourcefulness. He could have just called us and expect us to deal with it but he took it upon himself to deal the issues directly and efficiently. We actually considered taking out an add in the newspaper just to recommend this guy. This kind of competence and professionalism is truly rare in the contracting world and should be celebrated.

Everything went well, they were efficient, professional and willing to go the extra mile.

Great. Very professional while also being laid back and conversational. Even took me to the hardware store to buy some of the lights and things we needed to get the jobs done. In Miami Beach it very difficult to find people with pride in their work and even show up on time or at all. My experience DIHS was great and I would definitely use them again.

UPDATE 6/3/2015 Seller came back and repaired the latch. He gave my wife a revised quote. I told him that I was going to wait until I get another quote before engaging his services again and that I would let him know in the evening. Siad called me in the middle of work and asked me where I worked. I thought he was being friendly. Then he started to yell at me about my review of his services. I told him that I gave him an honest assessment. He threatened to harrass me in my job and home and write bad stuff about me. He also made a bizzare accusation that I was trying to get him to do free work. He cracked me up, because the review was not about any free work and I asked him to give me a quote. If my intentions were for him to do any free work, then why did he give me a quote for $200.00? However, his screaming and argument over the phone can be considered harrassment, unprofessional and disrespectful. I threatened him with legal action if his or a member of his company contact me again. To be honest, this contractor is bizzare. Beware of him and DO NOT ENGAGE. They don't work as promised and if you tell anyone else, he will begin his harrassment and intimidation technique to keep you from telling the truth to others. UPDATE 6/2/2015 Contractor called me back. His response was that I never told him to paint the bathroom wall and that he did as the pictures stated. I told him that I mentioned the bathroom, but even if the bathroom was not included in the quote, the correct thing to do was to revised the quote and perform the job with my permission. He stated that he tried to call me yesterday to explain that he couldn't get to the latch due to rain. I asked him to come back and fix the latch. He stated that the only way he would do that is if I give him a good review. With this seller, it is important for anyone that is doing business with him to make sure that the work gets documented. If you don't have it in writing, you will probably have what happened to me: "He said, she said, I never said." He did admit to the latch though and said that he will be at my house to fix it. I'm a little disappointed, that he could had done the job (EVEN IF IT WASN'T INCLUDED IN HIS ORIGINAL QUOTE). All he had to do was revise the quote. Now, let's judge the quality of the work: The stuff that he did well, he did good. However, he accepted partial responsibility for what he wasn't able to do and said that he would personally see to it that it was done. I think that is a good thing, because everyone messes up. You do have to follow-up and just have your documentation in order. Don't do business over the phone to avoid miscommunications. Have them come in and judge it in person. Then ask for a written quote. Other than this I will recommend this contractor with reservation.

Martin came and he was very polite and a good worker. He wanted to do each job properly and perfectly and that's what he did. I thought $50 an hour was expensive but it was quality work so that made up for it. I have no complaints at all about the work quality and would highly recommend them in the future.

Sead (owner) was extremely conscientious. He had to carefully remove enough counter tiles, so my new dishwasher could be installed. Then return to replace the tiles. He was prompt and engaging. A pleasure to work with.

The service was fine and they showed up on time.

It was good. I don't remember much about the experience.

The repair was much more than we thought it would be. Upon further inspection, water damage was discovered that went beyond the section that I wanted repaired. But Sead removed and replaced the entire damaged area and corrected the problem the right way, rather than just patching up a hole. He repaired the entire section and ended up spending twice the amount of time he originally estimated and wasn't going to charge me for the extra time. We renegotiated because it was only fair and reasonable. Outstanding individual and I look forward to future projects. Thank you, Sead!!!

UPDATE: 3/7/15 The owner of company called me and told me that he apologized greatly for the horrible work done. He insisted to redo all of the work correctly and fix anything that needed to be fixed. He sent two workers, Tony and Yousay. They worked from 9am to 9:30pm fixing everything that was done incorrectly. I was shocked at their professionalism and the way they worked. I am so happy that they were able to fix my house and so quickly! it's been raining all day in Miami and they were still determined to finish the work regardless of the rain. I couldn't be happier that the owner was able to get in touch with me and make it right. I would recommend this company to anyone now. Ask for Tony or Yousay. They did such great work. Thank you again ! You made my broken down house into a home. ------------------------------------------------------ 12/13/14 Honestly...I don't know what to say. he did update the outlets fine, but that's about it. He drilled holes in the wall to help the drainage in the atrium, but to be honest we could have done that ourselves and save the cost. But the way he patched up the screens was horrendous.. I mean he was supposed to replace the broken screens. What he did was patch up most off the screens and replaced only 3 of them. He didn't even bother to cut off the extra remaining pieces of screen. It is a complete mess and looks worse then it did before he fixed them. Now there are pact he'd pieces of screen everywhere. It looks horrible. This is me and my husbands first home. We want to come and take pride in it and show people around, but we feel so bad taking our guests to the backyard. I would def not recommend this company to do work at anyone's home if they are going to work so sloppy. Honestly, I'm crying while writing this review. He did such a poor job painting our ceilings. We have 18 ft ceilings and needed a professional to come and paint.. He came with his sprayer and sprayed the paint on the celings. He missed spots, the paint is soooo sloppy, and there was drops of paint all over the floor. This is my first home and I was so unlucky finding people to fix my house. It makes me cry sometimes coming home and think of how much money we gave to this company to do such a s***** job. Please please please stay away.

It was great. They figured out all the storage for my garage. One technician came out. They were professional and timely.

We were very happy with the overall quality of service and craftsmanship of his work. We gave him a laundry list of items ranging from drywall damage, window caulking, installation of a door to electrical work which he handled with no problem at all. Most of all, we were so pleased with his performance and professionalism that I rehired him to work at another location. I highly recommend DIHS and plan to continue using their services in the future. Thank you Angie's list.

I had called other places for estimates and DIHS was the same as the others, but they were the only ones who offered a flat rate which I prefer, because with hourly you never know if they're going to go over the predicted number of hours (especially in Miami - so like one place said $65/hour for 3 hours but you know it's going to take a lot longer than that because - Miami - and it did, by the way). The guy called to say he could come out to the house earlier than expected if that was ok (yes, please) and he was extremely professional and courteous. Apparently whoever installed it used all the wrong materials so there was quite a lot of work to be done, but he clearly knew the correct way to install the sink.

Sead was very personable and informative. He was late as he drove to the wrong town, but he had the courtesy to call me and let me know. When he arrived, we discussed what needed to be done and he eventually got back to me with an estimate. It is more than I want to spend on this renovation as my intent is resale and the building I live in does not warrant the return I will receive with the resale. I think that his prices are probably in line with other handymen/contractors. The one problem I have is with the form of his estimate. He sent an email which does not look like a professional estimate. It very basically stated (in letter form) what would be done, with some prices. I need to see the estimate on company letterhead with a detailed, itemized list containing line items for each specific job that will be done -- with prices, labor, etc. He left a good impression. He has a nice personality and seems to be easy-going.

It went great. They got it done very quickly. They're very knowledgeable and pretty much do anything that I ask them to do. You should know what you want them to do because when they come in they get it done quickly and you can send them pictures of whatever the work is and they can pretty much show you what they may need so that you already have all the materials.

I would recommend them because they're really knowledgeable and they can pretty much can do anything.

the Service Provide was Excellent

It went pretty well. One of the issues I had was that it said "handyman for a day" and nobody ever mentioned it. I asked specifically how long is that and they said just as long as it takes. That was a weird business model. At the end of the day he was there a couple of hours extra and then I just got charged the extra. It was a little bit annoying, but it all worked out. So it's fine. I didn't have to wait for them to be available. It was pretty much as soon as I wanted them. I just thought that he should have been a little more forthcoming about that it was an hourly charge after a set number of hours, which makes perfect business sense. I was surprised when he conveyed to me that it didn't work that way. I get it as a business person. Off course you are going to charge extra for hours beyond eight or whatever it is. He just wasn't specific. I just wish he had been clearer about the way it got billed. The job was good. I was very happy with the guy who set it up. It was good. He had a wide breath of knowledge about the stuff around the house. He imparted a lot of knowledge to me, because I kind of followed him around and he was helpful and explained to me very clearly what he was doing and why he was doing it. It was a good experience. I communicated to the guy who showed up. I just wish that his boss was clearer about what "handyman for a day" means. I think they should spell that out in the description of the deal. The pricing was good. It was reasonable for the skill level. It was a positive experience and I would use them again.
