Angie did a fantastic job! She faux painted the walls and ceiling in my powder room, the walls in my living room and the master bath. She also painted a door to make it look just like it was mahogany. She used a different technique in each room. She also matched my outlets in my kitchen to my tile, and painted the hood above my stove. Her work turned out beautiful. She is extremely talented and professional. If you want any faux painting done, you will not be disappointed with her work.

Angie was extremely professional. Her team was terrific and we will definitely use them again for other jobs in our house.

The faux painting turned out beautiful, I get a lot of compliments on it. They work neatly, do not leave a mess after the work day. They are very professional and courteous. Angela even provided me with a contact for work I needed in the master bath, these guys were fantastic as well.

I raved about these folks because along with the great work was a complete absense of attitude. This is why I spoke so glowingly of this company. But I have a responsibility to my fellow consumers on Angies List..... to tell the truth so that others can avoid obvious trouble like I am experiencing..NOW... times change and eventually the truth must win out. The Peter principle is always lurking. And in Florida anything is quite possible with service providers. When is a warranty not worth the paper its printed on?...RIGHT NOW This review is to further communicate to all that life isn't as good as originally told.....We are now experiencing problems with this vendor to make repairs to outside faux paintings they did, THAT HAVE NOT HELD UP TO THE ELEMENTS. .and they must be REAL busy now... because they will not fix the problems to our outdoor doors to our satisfaction. Although I have in writing from them that they would come back to fix this they have offered us a $20 dollar credit for the garage door and a 75 dollar credit for the front doors ......paltry amounts and quite insufficient compared to what I paid Paradise to paint these doors initially...... these are insulting offers to begin with, but made worse because they don't want to do the repairs themselves..... they want me to retain a painting company they know to do it...and that company wont do the repairs for this credit amount PARADISE OFFERED and they wont take responsibility for what happens to the faux painting if their fix doesn't work. WHICH I DONT FAULT THEM FOR. Although I told Paradise that if they insist on making another company do these fixes they are creating major problems in the warrantee process....they refused my request to do the repairs themselves.....that creates the blame game.....it will be next and Paradise will feel justified in walking away. I believe that is their strategy. They have made a mockery of our relationship and destroyed our trust. I asked repeatedly for and finally received a letter noting they will cover the costs of the repairs....but they apparently sent 2 letters.....1 to the painter and a different one to me ....mine indicates they would pay for the repairs.... but the one to the painters tells them Paradise will only agree to a $75 fix..This is typical of the game playing going on...neither the painter or I will agree to these terms...so nothing is being done...when we sent an email to paradise for a listing of paint colors they used so I could hire a new faux painter they failed to answer us at all. The once attitudeless Owner Angie is now the very attitudelike Owner. We treated these people like platinum...now they are treating us like strangers who are told other faux painters wouldn't even go to the extent they did to fix the doors...with outrageous responses to our issues...a bad fix is no fix If a company will NOT stand behind their work they have no right to get an A rating...We rescind our previous A rating and considering their posture now that we are at the end of the payment process ....and a few months time of living with their work and noticing other deficiencies......the most we can agree to is a D......and it is not unfair to go lower..to an F for fairness failure.......I am quite unhappy with this companies warrantee stance and wish to caution others of my tale.Its never over until its over in Florida...buyer beware here. Suggest money be held back from completed jobs for an extended period to cover yourself particularly for outside work.

Angela came for an estimate, she was very pleasant, professional and punctual. She explained in details the work that needed to be done in order for the fiberglass doors to look like wood. On the scheduled day, she was here on time and gave Rafael the guide line for the work. Rafael is really a master at what he does, these doors now look exactly like wood, no one can tell they are actually fiberglass hurricane doors. He worked neatly without leaving a mess behind. It was easy to do business with Angela and her team and I would recommend her to any one who needs faux painting. I may use her again very soon for another project.

Paradise Designs & Destinations are just incredible. They do magnificent work. These are terrific people. They are top notch. Instead of throwing a hammer at me when I ask for added details like gold leaf they just smile and say "I think it will be cool." They should have a merit badge. I would like them to have a merit badge and I would like to nominate them for the page of happiness. I think their price is very reasonable. I am not an expert on what faux painters do, because before I met them I had never had a faux painter who could convince me to do anything. Anything that I find after they leave that I have a problem with. They say no problem we'll be there within the week to fix it. I live in Florida and I can't tell you how poor the vendor community is in Florida. They are stand up people, they take care of their problems, and they are just always there for us. I recommend them to everybody. When you recommend somebody you are putting your credibility on the line, why would I recommend somebody unless they were terrific. I have no reservations recommending them to all of my friends.

To start lets discuss the final results...Superb! This is painstaking detailed work. It requires creative abilities and patience with the different mediums they do; and of course the always prying eye of the customer who must always critique the work as it progresses, Myself, a guy who never Fauxed anything, had constant questions about the process and angela , the owner was wonderfully patient with me by explaining what was coming , what would be next, and don't worry, and if there is something you dont like we'll fix it1! Never did she get frustrated never did she need an attitude adjustment because of my need to know...everthing

We purchased a second home in Florida and wanted to have some inside painting done. I met Angie from Paradise Designs through another contractor. She came to the house to meet with me and find out what I was looking for. After the first 5 minutes I know she was a true artist and very knowledgable. She came up with ideas that I would have never thought of or have never seen before. The pictures of her previous work impressed me. She was very detailed in explaining everything and listened to my opinion and answered all questions. Her crew showed up to start and while I know that faux finishes and more detailed painting take longer they worked very quickly and stayed long hours. Many times I was very happy with how things were going but Angie would explain that she wasn't and would do it over at no extra cost. The entire team took pride in their work as if it were their own homes they were painting. They painted my master bedroom, living room, master bath and two powder rooms. They also did a beautiful job on a tray ceiling in my kitchen area. I have never seen anything like it. After they were finished they cleaned up so that you would have never known that anyone was in the house. I can't even begin to describe the job. It was not standard painting. Each area they did looks like a piece of art. I have had several friends come to the house and each one of them notices the paint work immediately. We ere so impressed with Paradise Designs (Angie and Jesse) that we asked them to do the exterior of the house. Again I have to say that Paradise Designs does not just paint. They make works of art that will be enjoyed for years to come. I am very impressed and would recommend them to anyone. I wish I could have her up North to work on our primary home because when I am not in Florida I miss looking at the beautiful job they did.

I was introduced to Angie of Paradise Designs through Benchmark painting and carpentry. Angie and her crew are top notch. From the beginning it was a great experience. They brought a ton of different designs and color choices for me to choose from, and came back with samples of each before I made my final decision. I had an idea for my great room wall and they were able to bring it to life. I have gotten so many compliments on it. They were very punctual and pleasant to work with. Not only did they clean up every night, but when they finished the job, they were nice enough to touch up some of the areas in my home that needed fixing due to other contractors work. I would definitely use them again, and would recommend them to everybody.
