Description of Work: SunState that's the one we used. There's an air vent that's over my roof, it's a long an 6 inch air vent. Apparently when they had laid out the roof and the shingles. There was a good inch gap, and whenever it would rain it would trickle down the truss. It would go down and just leak through the ceiling. We thought it was a roof problem, when the guy came out he said I can put a couple of shingles here and it wont drip. It didn't.

Description of Work: Ted Alesch is a very good contractor, and his best asset is his right-hand-man Danny. We rehabbed an entire condo and are very happy with the result. His weak point was a painting sub-contractor, but any problems there were cleared up. Ted and the rest of his crews were very courteous and competent, and I would recommend them.

Description of Work: Our home is up for sale but we wanted to check out the roof before an inspector went up there so I called Ted and he personally came out and got on my roof and told us it was likely going to run into problems at the time of the home inspection because of it being 17 years old with some age on it. We decided to go ahead with repairing the very minimum problems to keep the roof from perhaps leaking and wait until the home sale to proceed with re-roofing. Very knowledgeable and responsive owner. Would do business with him again and recommend him to others. Very honest man.

Description of Work: I called and it took three days for a call back. He said he would try to get by that night but his kid had a ball game. If he couldn't get by, he'd come by first thing the next day. I never heard another word,from him.

Description of Work: Sunstate did a great job on my re roof recently. We felt comfortable with the sales process and upgrade options presented with out feeling pressured. The roofing crew was on time, professional and kept our yard clean and free of nails and debris. I was also impressed when they pointed out some rotted wood instead of just covering it up. They took a few days longer than expected but this was due to weather. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a quality product at a great price!

We had a difficult time finding a match but in the end, Ted went the extra mile and the new column is almost an exact match. He was on time, pleasant, professional and I would recommend him highly. He also cleaned up after the job. There should be more contractors like Ted. Don't hesitate to call him or email him. He always got right back to me. Ted, it was a pleasure and I look forward to working with you again if the need arises.

+ 0 moreThis was a small job that is part of a collection of work needing to be done on our condo and later to our house. We reached out to five contractors and got bids from three. We became aware of Ted through Angie’s List. We decided to use Ted because of the credibility of his proposed approach, the fairness of his estimated cost, and the diligence he exhibited in communicating with us throughout the bid process. The installation of the door was completed professionally. His coordination of the work with our schedule was effective and greatly appreciated as we are moving a disabled family member into this condo ASAP, plus we already had a number of trades engaged in work on this property. We look forward to using Ted on the other projects at our house.
Description of Work: Replaced the front door to our condo and provided a tune-up to its storage unit exterior door.

+ 3 moreExcellent! The owner of the company oversaw and managed all projects to high standards. He was trustworthy, punctual and most important had great recommendations and an eye for design/style. He was able to work with us thru multiple modes of communication including in person, by phone and even more impressively by email --around the world while we were out of town! He gave pros/cons of different materials, was eager to please, and willing to take time to help us make decisions and identify suppliers to achieve custom features desired. One recommendation that we are thrilled with is his idea to change from a poured sidewalk slab with a faux finish to pavers. For so many reasons this was the right way to go. His recommendation even came after he had measured, investigated companies/products to color the cement, etc. The fact that he would and could change directions was appreciated. I highly recommend him and will be using him again.
Description of Work: Alesch Contracting performed multiple services- new privacy fence; removal and replacement of a large roof deck; roof repair/improvement; sidewalk and pavers; and installation of new decorative gate. All were done to an exceptionally high quality standards while being extremely professional and accomodating for our schedule.
