Glen Tancreto has amazing vision and knowledge. My home, a ranch style build in the 1960's, needed serious drainage work and re-landscaping. The drainage system he recommended is solving my water issues, but as wonderful was the understated, elegant and appropriate design for the house and neighborhood.. The plantings fit the style of the house, and fit my desired level of maintenance (minimal). The 2 men he sent to do the work were as dedicated and hard working as I've ever seen. Jason, his foreman, who has been with him for 16 years, worked as though this was his home. He never gave up, digging through 2 feet of clay, and made sure the job was done to his, and Glen's, high expectations. The effort also put forth by Jamie, another worker, was some of the hardest I've ever experienced. Given the difficulty of installing the deep, long french drain, and the sprinkler system, in addition to the plantings (front and back), I felt the price was reasonable and within the budget we discussed. I would wholeheartedly recommend Glen and Creative Designs & Landscaping for any level or scope of work. You will get a superior job, and have a pleasant experience while doing it!

It was a waste of my time.

We recently moved into a home with mostly gravel, boulders and weeds. I have always wanted a beautiful landscape, but thought it might be a lost cause. I called Glenn at Creative Designs because of the reviews he received from Angie's List even though he was located an hour away. I sure am glad I did! Glenn and his crews did an amazing job and now I have a little piece of heaven. I couldn't be happier with the job they did and would recommend this company to anyone that wants the best.

Although we did not use this company he was very professional. This company took the time to come see our property and had the professionaolism to let us know that our back yard would not do well with grass - resulting in us not needing to hire them. They gave us some great ideas and tips.

We needed our entire lawn back and front landscaped. The front hadn't been landscaped in 15 years. We had had the back landscaped 5 years ago, but now that a mammoth house is going up next door, It had to be redone to block at least some of the new house, which meant some pretty big trees. Glenn showed up, talked with me for an hour, and I told him what I liked about our yard and didn't like. I also told him that my budget was @$10,000 total, but my real concern was value for my money. He came back a few days later with a full plan, including prices for each plant. He was right on the budget. We made a few changes. the beginning of the next week, his crew arrived. The whole project took 4-5 days to complete, including hiring a machine to remove a large area of ferns that no rational snake fearing human being would enter and pulling up some old tree stumps. His crew was efficient and very good. Very responsive. I walked around after they were done and asked several Qs about things regarding things Glenn had said he would do. (such as fertilizing everything, trimming trees, removing debris, putting all the junk that had accumulated in my yard over the years--soccer b****, old pots, tiki lamps, plastic pink flamingo--? and putting them in one area for me to sort through. I liked that they didn't view their job as only planting their plants. Everything that needed fixing was part of their job. They also checked the irrigation to make sure that the new plants would be watered, and they repaired the electric doggy fence. Glenn came by several times, but his supervisor, Jason, was excellent. Glenn also added some extra plants along the way free of charge. the extra $1,000 was for annuals and repotting 7 huge planters because I am having a big party and didn't have time to do it. (Not sure that was the most value for my money, but if it had been left up to me, it wouldn't have happened.) The yard looks better than it has in years. He planted 7 large Ligustrum to hide the new house. He added among other things, Sago Palms, Bottle Brushes Piitisporum, a Japanese Magnolia (my request), Holly, Jasmine to cover some exposed fence, and Schillings. He also added turf to replace some dead spots. Finally, Glenn reminded several times that he insures every plant, and if one dies, he will replace it. (Didn't apply to annuals in pots, because that requires me remembering to water, and I think he was a little concerned about that, given the state of my yard.) Overall, Glenn and his crew did an excellent job. I would highly recommend him. I found him on Angie's list, and he didn't even know he was on it. Clearly, a pleased customer wanted to do him a favor.

The job was great. He came by promptly and took a look at my yard for no cost. The next day I had an estimate and plans for my new yard. The following week his staff arrived on time to start the job. They were very friendly and knew exactly what to do. It took two days to complete and when it was all said and done my yard looked great.
