 + -1 moreWhile there services have been excellent over the course of many moves, the storage of my goods during the year they were stored in the warehouse, was not handled well at all. While 90% of my storage items were returned in good shape, 10% were lost or misplaced. After three months of discussions, Beaches Moving and Storage has refused to replace the items that were lost. I cannot say enough positive things about the quality of people at this company. But I do not feel they handled the accommodations (no reimbursement for lost goods) for the items lost correctly.
Description of Work: They stored a lot of accessories for a year in their warehouse and at the same time, moved my other goods to Atlanta.

Description of Work: The estimator got the number of hours correct so the price was accurate. However, the movers came with literally NO packing materials, tape, boxes nor marking pens. At the estimation, I did indicate I was going to get most of the packing done myself BUT for a moving company to arrive with no supplies is ridiculous even if they assumed the packing would be all done. They charge for supplies used and generally make a profit from them so why not carry them "just in case." Upon arrival at the destination, unpacking the truck was fine but I have noticed at least 2 pieces have damage. The damage is not much but if they weren't so old anyway, I would have requested recompense for the damage. Also, the damage is not much and mostly not in a very noticeable area. All in all, if this had been a long distance move instead of local, I suspect there would have been more problems. I, personally, would not recommend this company without reservation.
