JOHNSON'S EXTERIORS

He was always on time and always did what he said he was going to do. I was very happy with the entire transaction. He has his own scaffolding which means he can do the work for less than contractors that have to rent it. Good work. Highly recommended.

We hired Johnson's Exteriors to remove & replace the stone on one side of our chimney(see the Masonry pages for our report on that). While we were waiting for the mortar on the chimney to dry, we asked Mr. Johnson to give us an estimate on repairing our living room ceiling, which had collapsed due to a leak in the roof. He gave us a quote that was $2,000 less than a previous drywall repairman we spoke with. We liked his work on the chimney, so we asked when he could start, He said, "How about today?" and we hired him on the spot! Mr. Johnson and one workman took that afternoon and the following morning to move our furniture out of the living room and dining room, carefully cover the floors, repair the drywall, remove the old popcorn texture, and spray on a new orange peel texture. We have since had the ceiling painted and you simply cannot tell that the repair was done. It just looks gorgeous. We are thrilled!

We had a leak in our roof right around the chimney. It turned out to be a bad flashing that required we remove the stone from one side of the chimney, replace the flashing and repair the roof, and then replace the stone one the chimney. Mr. Johnson and one workman showed up on Tuesday to remove the stone. He told us he would be back on Friday to replace the stone after the roofer was finished. He could not make it on Friday, but left us a note that he would be there Saturday morning, and he was there bright and early. The work was done quickly and our chimney has never looked better. Mr. Johnson had done a small repair on the house exterior at an earlier date. I had him give us an estimate for this longer job because he was so polite and reasonable and was on Angie's List. We had 2 estimates. This won over 500% less, for more work. The lack of a detailed estimate and contract made me nervous. Unnecessarily.

Very reliable, prompt and polite. Pricing was better than others who bid on the same job. He shows up when he promises, does a clean job, and is a pleasure to work with.
