Jerry, the owner, promptly responded to my inquiry, came to my house, and gave me a written estimate. He handled obtaining the required city permit, and the day before the installation he came and laid out the new fence line. His crew came when scheduled and did a very professional and neat job including taking away the old fence. I would hire Gifford Fence Company again.

Contacted Jerry in May for a July installation once our house was completed. Jerry responded within a few days and came out to estimate within a week. jerry handled the permit and was helpful in understanding Orange County building codes to follow as well. Scheduled installation actually was accelerated as he had a cancellation. Fence was installed all in one day despite the rain and was expertly done. I would highly recommend Jerry for future work.

This was one of the best home improvement experiences that we have ever had. Jerry, the owner took care of all the permitting and approval from the Historic Preservation Board. He was very good about communicating and responding to emails in a timely manner. Chris and Walt and another man installed our fence and did an excellent job. The fence is very even, unlike our previous fence. They use individual boards, not pre-assembled fence panels. They arrived on time and had the entire job finished in a day and a half.

Asked for an estimate and they were out within a couple of days and sized up the job at about 140' of fence. It took a few weeks from there before they were able to execute, but only a couple days of work to get everything done. No mess was left behind and the new fence looks great.

We recently added a fence to our property at Oak Ridge Phase 2, installed by the Gifford Fence Co. They were the only fence company that returned our calls and followed through the entire process very smoothly. Their workers were courteous, arrived on time and cleaned up afterwards.

It took a while for them to get to us schedule wise but Jerry put us on the calendar for February 2018 back in November2017. He clearly manages he projects well because he was right on time with the February dates. He was very professional from the beginning with a detailed quote and contract that was clear and easy to read. The week before work was to start, he asked for half of the payment upfront and provided an easy, online payment link. His crew was very thorough, neat and professional. They completed new fence installation for both yards in four days. Because we did our fences together, we received a discount of $250 each. We also split the cost of the fence we share so that reduced the price as well.

I love my new fence. The materials used and workmanship appear to be excellent. I like the fact that they use 6x6 posts for the hinged side of the gates and the wider and thicker cypress pickets make the entire fence feel sturdier. For the sake of continuity we wanted the "good side" of the fence to face in to match the fence line on the rest of our property. Jerry informed us that city code requires the "good side" of the fence to be outward facing so we requested double sided fence on that section which increased the per linear foot price (because material cost and labor costs went up as well). Very satisfied with the level of communication with Jerry, we mainly communicated via email which was nice since we had a running log of our conversations and agreements. We shopped around and got quotes from 2 providers. Gifford's came in a couple hundred dollars less and they were able to put our fence up sooner. Additionally, their website is very informative. I would recommend getting educated on their website before getting quotes from any fence provider.

Jerry Gifford and all the folks at Gifford Fence Company are great. This is the second time we have used Gifford for a fencing job. They are professional, efficient, they communicate well and stay on schedule. I have already recommended them to my friends.

If you are in the market for a fence, look no further. Jerry Gifford, Sr. gave me the lowest price estimate. He even came out on a Saturday, which shows you how much pride they put in their fence company. I made the mistake of going with another company who was not on Angies list and found out that not all company’s are built alike. I just contacted Jerry with my issues on a fence that he didn’t build and he cared enough to give me his expertise advice. I will hire Gifford Fence if I ever need fence repairs in the future.

We contacted 3 different fence companies for quotes. Gifford fence responded promptly and came out the next day to give us a quote. We were pleased with the professionalism and straightforwardness. The other 2 companies "were giving us a discount" and yet their prices were still higher than Gifford. We did have to wait 3 months for them to come do the fence, but that was understandable considering the circumstances. We were very happy with the way the fence was "built" on site - piece by piece - not brought in as "panels" that were just put up. My husband was not entirely happy with the way the gates were finished, but he contacted Gifford and someone was out at our property the same day to fix them how we wanted. We are very happy with our fence and the work performed. Gifford fence is highly recommended.

They did a great job. There was confusion on type of fence (board on board versus another style) but 1 phone call had it sorted out, extra wood delivered and job completed. Looks great. Approx 80' of fence was put up.

They kept me informed as to when we were on the schedule, pulled necessary building permits and closed them when the job was completed. They showed up on time and completed the work as promised. I was thrilled with the quality of the product and the fairness of the price. I had three other quotations and when they came out and spent time with me on a Saturday morning I knew right away this was the folks I wanted building my fence. They did and we are grateful.

To start off, I was impressed that Jerry got back with me so quickly, considering all the area damage from the hurricane. He was out in 2 days to give me an estimate. He was much lower than other estimates that I got for the same, board on board fence, built on site. What I really liked was that he was going to make the fence uniform, not just straight 8 foot sections, and not have little sections in the corners to fit it with other neighbors fences. He told me it would be after the first of the year before he could get to me, but I was impressed with him and his estimate, so I was willing to wait. The weekend before Thanksgiving, he emailed me and told me he could get to me in less that two weeks. This was like an early Christmas gift. His crew Matt and Devon showed up the first day at 7:00AM and went right to work removing the old fence and prepping for the new posts. They had all the posts planted and were left to harden overnight as they were put in with concrete. The second day, they were there again at 7:00AM and went right to work building the fence and doing the necessary repairs to the neighbor's fence. They did a fantastic job of keeping the fence level and plum. On the second day they had completed all the work, cleaned up after themselves and were finished with the project. Matt and Devon were such professionals at their work. They took no breaks and continued working to get finished everything they needed done on each day. They both took the time to make sure that all the sections and posts were level all the way across the back fence.area. They made sure that the side sections also matched up perfectly to the back. My neighbor commented that his fence was straighter now than before they did the work. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing fence work and was extremely happy with the end result.

Work was on time and completed in two days. All went well until Hurricane Irma hit. The aluminum gate hinge broke & Gifford fencing repaired it. When two vinyl posts started wobbling Gifford Fencing returned & repaired that two. Service after the sale is why I recommend Gifford Fencing.
