Work done exceeded our expectations. Assembled the fence on site, not the pre-assembled, store-bought fence’s with beams and slats that we’re considerably thicker and wider than the ones you get at Lowe’s or Home Depot, as we’re the rest of the materials like the hinges utilized. Workmanship, communication from start to finish was top notch, while cost was surprisingly on the low end of the multiple bids we received. The work was done in less than 2 days and the clean up wad thorough. Definitely well worth the investment.

I contacted Jerry to buid our custom fence, once he had good reviews here on Angies list. We asked for a double-sided horizontal fence using 4" bords with half inch gap between the bords. We added picture of the especific fence clearly demonstrating what we wanted on the contract. When they started stalling the boards they were putting them right next to each other with no space between them. We immediately talked to his local supervisor and called Jerry as well in order to express our concerne with the gaps / spacing. They both told us that with the time 5 weeks the wood bords would shrink and them we would have the gap that we wanted. Beyond the concern of the gaps, we were also concern about the overall look and quality of the wood bords as they semed to be of inferior quality of the fence that we expected and shown on the picture. The wood bords Jerry instaled were rough. But Jerry insisted then when we stained it would look as we expected. After 5 weeks the gaps were not there. We have called Jerry and he asked us to wait 4 weeks more. We waited and the gaps were less them a quarter of inch (way less the a quarter of inch). I try to reach Jerry and he did not respond to our call, voice message, text and email). Has been 12 weeks to this date and the gaps still not there. The look of the fence is not anywhere near the look that we wanted. The gate was warping and was barelly opening up and we had to have it fixed twice. We paid more them $7.5k for this fence and it looks horrible and dont even look anywhere near what we wanted. We know nothing about fences and we trusted Jerry and his crew to do the job as we have clearly explained to them. I think we will need to escalate this to the legal sphere to get some sort of resolution as Jerry doesn't respond or fix the situation. I would apreciate if the Angies list can do something about it. If you would like to see what we requested originaly and what the final project looks like we have all documented.

I would definitely recommend this company! The crew was punctual, courteous, and worked quickly. They were also cognizant of the property next door, which was a bit of a challenge with the amount of overgrowth there. I'm very pleased with my new fence!

I had the most dilapidated fence in my neighborhood and since I live on the corner it was an eyesore for everyone. The ground had lots of variations in elevation and I thought it would be impossible to install a level fence. They finished the job when I was at work and as I drove up the road and saw how amazing the fence looked (Premium Board on Board Cap Fence with 6"x6" posts and Copper Post Caps) I could not believe the transformation!! Jerry loves fences. He can tell you anything and everything you need to know to expertly advise you. His 2 man crew were professional and hardworking. I'd give Jerry 10 starts if I could.

Everything went great. Fast turnaround time. Even when the custom 14 ft gate was not created correctly, was only a few days to get the new one.

On time, quick, efficient and great workmanship

When ever I need a project done I always get 3-4 quotes. I am about to save the next person time and trouble. I did interview four companies. Non of them could compare to Gifford fence company. Jerry Gifford responded right after my call to his company. We met, I explained my plan, he agreed with most except one small section where he said the city would not approve, so we found a way to fix it so it would work. He explained what materials they would be using and how it would be built on premises. All of it was just what I was looking for. Then he quoted the price, which was under the other three quotes. We scheduled a date for installation, but the city had a back log and my permit hadn't been approved. Jerry call again and get it moving and a new date was set. The crew arrived on the scheduled date and time. Foreman Rick, workers Bryson and Stetson. What a team they are! They got busy, and worked non stop. To watch them was beautiful. Very professional. The work was completed in three and half days. I found a small part that needed repairing from my old fence and Rick called Jerry and it was done a week later, no problem. I couldn't have asked for a better job or better communication or cooperation. If you want your job done right, on time and at a reasonable price, forget the others and call Gifford Fence Company! Jerry and his team did an awesome job in installing our new Vinyl fence. Price was reasonable and installation was very professional. I certainly recommend them for your fencing needs.

Hire Gifford fence !! We hired two fence installers, the first installer was Superior Fence and the second time around we hired Gifford Fence to add on an additional side . After much disappointment with the first installation by Superior Fence, we got estimates from 3 other fence companies. Gifford Fence price was the absolute best, Their willingness to go on and above what we expected was excellent, and their communication about scheduling (Jerry sends texts and communicates very well) and timeliness in getting the job done far exceeded our expectations . We are happy campers behind our new pretty white fence!

The PVC fencing was over 250 feet total fencing. It was 6 ft high and included a 12 foot double gate and 2 other 5 ft gates. It went in with no issues and looks great. The chain link fencing I had done on the adjacent property was 140 feet of 6 foot high fencing and an 18 foot double-gate. It also looks great and there were no issues with it. They just came back to do another 28 feet and it also looks great. I have recommended them to others (i.e., my neighbor and friends) and they also had work done (PVC and wood fence) and are both completely happy with Gifford Fence Company.

If possible I would give Jerry and Gifford Fence company an A+ in every category. Simply said, Jerry does what he says he will do when he says he will do it. I wanted to change the location of my fence and Jerry's input was very helpful. From estimate to contract to the finished product it could not have been better. Jerry is professional and the installation crew was friendly and hardworking. They removed the old fence, put up a high quality new wood fence and cleaned up - the only way you know they were here is the great looking new fence. If you need a fence no need to look anywhere else. Professional, quality work and a competitive price .

Excellent value, and our kids love it. Jerry and his crew are very professional from start to finish and did a great job. They even hauled away the excess dirt.

Jerry was very responsive to me during our negotions and flexible with me when I changed the contract a few times. He was flexible and professional. The crew that installed the fence were very nice and knew what they were doing. I will be hiring them to install more fencing in the future.

I hired Jerry and his team to finish enclosing my backyard as I already had white vinyl fence on two sides from my neighbors fencing. Jerry did a great job matching the neighboring fences and the installation was top notch. Jerry also stood behind his product after service when I had trouble with my irrigation system. Jerry paid for an irrigation technician to come repair my sprinklers and get me back to normal. Not only was Gifford fence one of the most reasonably priced quotes I received, it was also the least pressure I felt from a salesperson that provided a quote. Go with Gifford Fence!

Everything was easy for the estimate, and then appointment, permits, etc. They did the job when they told at the time. The fence looks good. The workers were professional and friendly.

I can't say enough good things about Gifford Fence Company. One of the best companies that I've ever hired. I had a challenging back yard that needed a ton of yard work to even get a fence up. Jerry offered to clear it for a small fee and they got my fence up in about a day in a half. He was awesome to communicate with and our fence is beautiful. We've already received a ton of compliments and I wish more companies operated the same way that they do.

Excellent service and installation, including my neighbors fence. The fence was installed in late 2017 and it is perfect shape almost a year later. I stained it myself a few months later. Scheduling wasn't immediate, since this company was slammed and in demand. Well secured fence posts and 6 inch fence posts for the gates.
