I wish Jerry had called as requested. Please keep this in consideration when reviewing my previous review. He did send a very good quote, but it was hidden in the I utilized Angies List tiny email tab that some customers choose not to check. Angie's List may consider redesigning their web page format and email alert function to facilitate companies who don't call their clients back, eve though requested.

Jerry was very professional, courteous and personable. He was quick to respond to my inquiry and the estimate was reasonable. A few weeks later his crew showed up and worked well together doing an excellent job. A few days after installation I noticed that a gate needed some adjustments and after contacting Jerry he took care of it promptly. It was a pleasure doing business with Jerry and company and I will highly recommend him for your fencing needs. Jerry, thank you. The fence looks great.

Estimate right away, then after we obtained town approval, installed within two weeks. Looks great.

Was good experience. Jerry was very prompt, professional and easy to get a hold of when I had questions. Came out quickly for estimate and explained how they built the fences. It was important for me to get the Project scheduled quickly since we just rescued a larger dog and needed a secure area for him to be able to run around in. After I had to get the approvals and needed paperwork they were able to start the project very quickly. Had to replace worn broken fences that bordered my property and the guys took care of it in no time then started on the posts. Even with the rain and building the fence from scratch, board by board, the crew was able to keep on schedule on get the fence done in the time stated. Fence looks great and seems very sturdy. I am pleased with the outcome and would not hesitate to use Gifford again.

SLOPPY! -loose post -fence doesn't meet the ground -lumps of concrete on top of the ground near post holes and never cleaned up -chain link fence not tighten up all the way around -no follow through

Jerry was the first contractor to resond to my inquiry, the first one to come out for an apraisal, and he gave the best price. He usually answered his phone the several times I needed to contact him and if he didnt he got back to me very quickly. He and his crew came out the date planned and quickly and skillfully placed the fence. I would highly recommend this company if you are putting a fence anywhere.

Although I did not end up choosing Gifford fence as my contractor for my fence project, they were extremely professional and courteous. Based on my experience, I would recommend Gifford Fence for a friend's fencing needs.

On Sunday nightI used the contact us portion of the web site and described what I needed. On Monday morning I had an email requesting my address so the job could be assessed. By noon someone came out and gave me a quote-by 5:00pm job completed!

Jerry came out for the estimate. He measured the yard and discussed our options. He was professional, pleasant and very personable. His crew was punctual, friendly, and very professional. They all showed attention to detail. If we need any other fencing done we would definitely hire Gifford Fence Co. again. We can highly recommend Jerry and his crew for your fencing needs. After having dealt with another fence company (Allied Fence- avoid them!) and having a bad experience, this company was a pleasure! Jerry was professional, gave a very reasonable quote and installation was available very quickly. Austin, who installed the fence, was polite, punctual and honest.

Jerry (owner) and Jason the installer where fantastic. I had 700 linear ft of chain link and 550 linear ft of board on board fence installed around my residence so it was a good sized job. I contacted several companies along with Jerry at Gifford Fence. The Gifford Fence companies bid was the most detailed and the best value. While the other companies were reputable, the company representatives were simply salespeople. I prefer discussing details with someone directly involved with the work so details are not forgotten. Jerry met with me when he said he would. He found out my purpose for the fence and made suggestions on the type of fence and the materials. I have a difficult layout and needed input and he was very informative. An example was a cantilever gate in the front of my house that slides versus a traditional swing gate since my house is close to a road. I have never seen a cantilever gate and it is the coolest gate. I think it is my favorite part of the fence. Jerry was very patient with the many questions posed to him. Although I told him I was shopping other companies, he continued to answer questions regarding materials and features. He was always polite and respectful. Jerry performed exactly as he said. When the install was over, I was prepared to pay him the balance and he told me that I did not use as much chain link as was bid so he adjusted my balance down. His honesty did not surprise me because of how he honored and delivered on everything he said...His main installer Jason is a fence installing machine. He was extremely concerned with any and all details regarding the fence install. He always checked to make sure we were satisfied with the workmanship and progress. I thought all wood fences came in pre-built panels so I was amazed and happy to see them actually building the wood panels . Jason said they used pressure treated 4x4's sunk in concrete for the posts and pressure treated 6x6's wherever the gates where because they are not prone to rot and they make the fence very sturdy. They used pressure treated 2x4's for the cross bars that the pickets are attached for the same reason. He said they use galvanized ring shank nails which resist corrosion and almost never pull out. I was blown away. Talk about exceeding my expectations. Jason, like Jerry, is a true professional and would definitely use them again and highly recommend them to others because they did everything they said and then went beyond.

Jerry gave me an estimate. He was on time for the estimate. He worked with me getting the HOA approval then once I decided to proceed, he obtained the proper permits and the work was performed in one day, as promised. The fence looks great and I am very happy with the work performed, and the professionalism of Jerry and his crew.

They never returned my call to put up lattice on my carport.

We had a spring casing that was giving us a little trouble after the job was finished and the team wasted no time returning to replace it.
