GENERAL REPAIR SERVICE

We liked the fact that every technician they sent out was very knowledgable. They have been very professional, and very prompt.

They were referred to us by our warranty company to perform the work on our washer. From the beginning there was a question if they knew what they were doing. The initial gentleman that was sent to examine the washer had to be educated by us as to what the problem was with the washer. (the brackets that hold the drum are known to break). They were then to report the problem back to the warranty company to determine if repair or replacement was offered. The Warranty Co. advised them to let us decide if we wanted the repair or replacement, however they called us to say the replacement had been approved and they were ordering the part, would come pick up the washer. When the washer came back, the drum was new but the baffles inside the drum were missing and the rubber seal was not in place. When contact was made, General Repair stated they had to take the washer back and reorder the baffles. We did not allow them to take the washer, but once the baffles were received, had them come out to place in the drum. We fixed the rubber seal ourselves. Three months later, they have called to say they were not paid and would place a lein on our house if we did not pay it. We tried to instruct their office manager to contact the warranty company and were advised it was our problem. The Warranty company was called and they have contacted General Repair to discuss this issue. I will not use them again.

It went fine. They showed up when they said they would and did the work in an efficient manner.

WE WERE VERY SATISFIED WITH THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORKMANSHIP IN PUTTING IN THE NEW DUCT WORK AND AIR CONDITIONING UNIT. THEY COMPLETED THE WORK WITHIN THE PROMISED PERIOD WITH NO SETBACKS.
