Evergreen Lawn & Pest Control

The service is excellent and I will continue to use them. They're on it and do a great job. I've been very pleased. Their follow up and service are great.

When they first started the lawn looked good not great. Then my St. Augustine slowly started to decline. Repeated in person conversations with the service folks and managers resulted in extra cost services like aeration and applications of lime. Every year we had a severe sod webworm infestation resulting in turf loss and decline. All to no avail. The mistake we made was to stay with the company too long. They burned through techs like raindrops. Beware!

I had been killing our lawn for years thinking I could apply chemicals and take care of it myself...and why not? Home Depot, Lowes and about every other store that homeowners frequent have giant pallets stacked to the ceiling with fertilizer and lawn treatments ready to for us. About 5 years ago, I switched to Evergreen and forgot all about those chemicals and visits to the hardware store. My thought at the time: If this works, it will probably cost about as much as I would spend on products that did not work all that well. Like so many others, we would replace parts of the lawn every few years. That was one of the best homeowner decisions I have ever made. Thanks to Klint from Evergreen, I have had no problems with the lawn at all ever since. When dollar weeds pop up as they do in Florida, Klint is there to take care of them and make them go away. I can't tell you how nice it has been to not have to worry about some big bill for replacing sod and the work that went along with that. Bonus that no one thinks about: when you replace your lawn in Florida you have to be sure it gets plenty of water or it will die. Often, the amount of the water bill can be as much or more than the sod itself if you do it right. I think that's what I like best about Evergreen: they do it right. Thanks to Evergreen, Klint and all the nice people who answer the phone on the rare occasion that I had to call. Considering a lawn program? Look no further.

They were very prompt and friendly and their price is reasonable.

The fellow who performs the lawn maintenance is great. He makes an effort to speak to us when we're here and explain what he has applied to the lawn. He also leaves a detailed note. I'd also like to note that Evergreen is very responsive to questions I've left for them via e-mail.

The service was as scheduled and additional feedback on lawn care was left.

It was a fair price. They've been very good. They're on a rotating basis. What stood out was their willingness to respond, answer any questions that I have, and help me with any problems I have. Usually two different people come out. One treats the lawn and shrubbery and the other one does the interior on a regular basis.

Initial treatments were good. Lawn looked great and overtime it went down hill. I later learned the tech changed also. The manger tried coming and spraying more but the lawn browned over and a tree in the back died. When cancelling I said the manager can call me or see what they can do as evergreen is supposed to have a guarantee. I never heard back.

We called Evergreen out about 6 months ago cause our lawn looked ragged. We tried doing the lawn ourselves, but the weeds were out of control! The gentleman came to give us an estimate. Very kind, very honest and up front and he didn't pressure us on anything. We signed up a couple weeks later and paid for the year up front to get a big discount. We have had the service now for about 4-6 months and we couldn't be happier! They even call periodically to ask us how the service is going to make sure we're happy.

The grass continued to die, so a friend referred us to another lawn service. The new service tested the soil and the grass and found our lawn was suffering from two types of fungus and the soil was deplete of several minerals. The new service treated these issues, and several months later our lawn is coming back and looks much healthier. We would have expected Evergreen to do this same thing for us. We would not recommend them to anyone for lawn care, especially if one is battling with issues and die back.

I met with Chris, former supervisor and now the General Manager. He always explains every thing about my lawn and shrubs so that I understand the plan he has and what the results will be. A very knowledgeable person who seems to enjoy his work and seeing the results. Thanks Chris.

Klint Hill takes a personal interest in our lawn. He is efficient and courteous. I remarked to him that Evergreen ornamental lawn is the best lawn service that we have used. Our experience with Klint & Evergreen is great! Best.

Klint Hill is very knowledgeable about his business & will take the time to explain how to maximize the lawn and ornamental shrubs.

We have been with Evergreen for a long time, however we recently got a new technician “Derrick” and have seen a big improvement in our lawn & shrubs. He is very concentric & does a great job!

Greg! Our usual service provider was quietly and efficiently going about his work when I went over to great him. I had no questions today, but informed him of new and additional sprinklers were recently installed to help with the drier areas of the lawn.

Matt rang our bell to see how things were going. My husband spoke with Matt and Matt serviced our lawn. We love Matt. He does a great job and always checks to see what our needs are. Matt is a wonderful, asset to your company!

Klint the SVC tech is dependable & knowledgeable-also his boss, Chris was present-both gave good advice to manage lawn during high temp. Periods.

I have used Evergreen for three years now. My service tech, Derrick, is very professional, explains what he is going to do to the lawn, asks if there are any issues and then goes to work. My lawn over the past three years looks amazing! I use to do my own lawn, but I now get better results for less money with Evergreen. A+ in my book.

I don't even know where to start... I hired them in Dec to help the growth of my lawn and color. As a 1st time homeowner I expected it to look better within a few months which was not the case, I was told it takes a while as it was winter and a dormant stage. After 4 months I tried to 'fire them' and they kept saying just give us a chance. Well shame on me as I gave them 3 to many chances. After being fed up I called to cancel and I was told they would but a manager would call ASAP. Well that was 2 days later. After I spoke with him he came out the next day with another manager. I told him don't come here as the is no need as I won't pay for another service ect... He said that this would be 'free' as they want to make it right. They came and did their thing and next I know I got a bill. Again, I said DON'T come as I will NOT pay another $75 to give you a chance to hope it actually works this time. I had to FIGHT to get it waived as both managers basically said I was lying and they never said this. Anyways, between the bad service, customer service, lying staff and inability to follow correctly I now have great service with a company called MASSEY SERVICES. Don't be fooled like I was by the good reviews. The sales people talk a good game... The ONLY time they were willing to help was when I said I was going to leave a review on Angies list and magically they were willing to help me ect... What a joke Positives : I guess I should put at least one - The tech Brad is great (not his fault their products are up to standards and the front office is a mess) Negatives: Customer service support is horrible Middle mgmt is useless to help and could care less about customers When you ask to have service every 6weeks & not 8 you will have to follow up at week 9 to get them to come out. Last by not least, I CANNOT wait to see their reply to this message. Funny, the continual lies they will say to protect their - "name" 60 review on Angies List- Keep up the great work expanding your business lol.

i had a bad lawn when i bought my house in april 2015 last year. they promised me that my lawn will be lot better in a year or so. but it is so bad after a year of service that i am removing all the weeds , bad grass and putting brand new sod and spending lots of money. i wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

I've been using Evergreen since first acquiring them in 2015. I did a lot of research first of a lot of companies before deciding on one that I would be turning over my lawn to after years of my own hard work, sweat, and tears. I was just starting to get hit with too many different things going on at once w/aggressive weeds creepy crawlies etc, and couldn't stay on top of it on a busy schedule. Enter Evergreen. From the very first initial contact through AngiesList the company has been terrific. They are very professional, come out to do a professional analysis of your lawn and situation, develop a plan of attack and maintenance, and then have been punctual and on schedule taking care of the lawn. Communication is key in everything and this company communicates great. From advising when the next scheduled service will be occurring. To the really good technicians that come out to treat the lawn and leave paperwork with an abundance of important and useful information about what they did, what they used, how much they used, time of service and weather at the time, what they noticed, and instructions on watering in what they treated the lawn with that day. A total A+++ lawn care company that's been doing such a great job that my neighbor is now using them as well. Love this company, a hard to find good honest, dependable, and professional company.

The gentleman who comes is fantastic. He answers every question I have. It was a new gentleman who came out and introduced himself. He was really sweet. They always come when they say they are. They do a fantastic job.

Friends in the Central Florida home building industry originally recommended Evergreen to me about 10 years ago as I completely re-landscaped the yard at my Longwood FL home. The trees, sod and shrubbery look as lush and healthy today as the first time Evergreen set foot on the property. They are excellent at controlling insects and disease. And get ready to have the greenest lawn on the block. Finally, after each treatment, I get advice on what Evergreen did and any things I can correct (like over-watering) to do my part.

From the initial call, onsite meeting to the services, all employees were extremely professional and very helpful in explaining the services. I had initially wanted my lawn treated for weeds and pests but instead of selling me services that I had asked for Eric took the time to explain why I couldn't treat my lawn for weeds due to the grass type. It was nice to have an honest company that didn't try to take advantage and sell services not needed. I will definitely continue to use their services and recommend them to anyone that asks.
