I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY... I called Dragon Plumbing to diagnose my hot water heater. I was told that it was a $125.00 diagnostic fee and that if repair work was completed, the diagnostic fee would not be applied and I would only be charged for the work being done at the time. This is standard practice in the industry and I understood this going into the appointment. The technician, Adrian, was late to the appointment and it was after 5pm before he showed up. I was not at the house at the time, so he called me after being at the location for a while and said he reset the pilot light and was testing it to determine what was wrong. I asked him if he was going to be able to give me an estimate and he said he was not sure. He called me back about 15 minutes later and said he finished and that he could not determine what was wrong at the time because the pilot stayed lit. I asked him for his recommendation and he said he would have to call the manufacturer. I asked him how we would handle the $125 fee if I have not been given an opportunity to have the unit serviced or repaired by his company. He told me I would have to talk to the office about that. The next morning I was told that the manufacturer recommended changing the burner and or thermocouple OR replacing the unit because of it's age. I asked the "office" if they could provide me with a written estimate and they provided me with three estimates; one for the thermocouple, one for the burner and thermocuple and one for replacing the entire unit. I called back and said I was considering having the thermocouple replaced and I asked if the $125.00 would be credited to the invoice if I had them complete the repair and they told me NO...I HAD TO MAKE THAT DECISION AT THE TIME OF THE INITIAL VISIT. I asked how it was possible for me to make that decision if they could not provide me with a full estimate at the time of the service call. They told me that because the manufacturer was closed that they could not get the recommended repair information. So bottom line, they would not take off the $125 if I had the work done by them. I then asked if the owner could call me to discuss. I was told he was on vacation and would call me when he got back. The owner, Neil Thomas never called me back to discuss this further. I then got an email/invoice from Shelly asking me to pay the $125 service call fee. The email said in part, "Please note invoice is for diagnostics only, we are unable to credit invoice as we do not recommend trying to repair heater at this point the heater would need to be replaced. Due to age of heater we will not take responsibility for heater not functioning properly if repair is attempted." I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AS THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR WORD AND HAVE A QUESTIONABLE DIAGNOSTIC POLICY. If you are going to have a policy that says the $125 fee will be credited or waived if the work is done at the time of the service, then you should have the means to provide an estimate and provide that service right then and there. I would have had him repair the unit right then and there. I never expected to the tech to consult with the manufacturer prior to giving an estimate. Also, since Adrian lit the pilot light, it has not gone out. The water heater is working fine and I don't believe that replacing the entire unit was called for in this situation. So I also do not trust their opinion as to unit needing replaced. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY...

Great, Neal gave us a fair quote. The crew showed up on time, got the work done much faster than we expected. The drywall repair crew came in a few days later and you can hardly tell where the drywall had to be cut to accomplish the re-piping.

The tech arrive on time, was very professional, knowledgeable, work was done is less than an hour. Tech double check the leak before he left.

Dealing with Dragon Plumbing has been a very frustrating experience. Communications were poor, and clarity was lacking. They found our leak in the shower valve on the 2nd day, but they said that the estimate didn't include fixing the leak in that valve or replacing it. The estimate included tub and shower valves, but not this particular valve? Not knowing much about plumbing, we reluctantly agreed to pay an additional $270. Most of the work was eventually completed, but we had the following issues along the way: hot water and cold water were reversed on the washing machine, the water line froze up on the refrigerator, the toilet line leaked, there was a leak in the line to the valve in the 2nd shower, 2 outside hose hookups had issues, and our shower handle was crooked. These issues were eventually resolved by the end of the job, with the exception of the shower handle. We called and messaged many times concerning the handle that was crooked, but we were totally ignored by Neil. When my wife finally got Neil on the phone, he acknowledged that he had been receiving our messages, but he or no one from his office had called us back. He was intent on blaming the crooked handle on us, but fortunately we had progress photos that show that his man had left the handle crooked. He finally sent a man out to straighten the handle, but without so much as a sorry for the misunderstanding. Even though they finally finished the job, and everything appears to be working, I can’t recommend them. I give them a “C” grade at best.

My daughters hot water tank started to leak last night and I call the on call person. When I call the office in the AM the call was not on the schedule and the schedule is full. I need this taken care of so I started to call other places and could not find someone to install a new water heater. About 10 minutes passed and I received a return call from Dragon Plumbing and she stated that she was able to free up a technician if I still needed the service. We set the appointment for 9:00 AM . The technician was great arrived on time and went to work. He was very friendly and fast worked. A new Hot water tank was installed in no time and actually below the quoted price. They were friendly fast and would use them and recommend them in the future. Bailed me out in the last minute

I will say the plumber was knowledgeable. However the company business practices are questionable. The plumber came out the first time. Charged $125 diagnostic fee. Ordered parts. Came back to the house. Charged $400 more for service and parts. Left my house. An hour later the tank less water heater failed again. I called and spoke to the owner. He came out almost a week later. Fixed the tank less water heater. At this point I am happy with the service. Then 2 weeks go by and I get a bill in the mail for another $125 diagnostic fee. This fee was never discussed with me, no invoice was left at my house, and it just arrived 2 weeks after the service was done to fix the unit. I called the office and spoke to the manager and she said she?d reduce the fee to $85 and I could speak to the owner. I spoke to the owner and was told I can?t come out for free and had to collect the $85. I called the office back. Paid the $85 and am done with this company. I guess $85 is worth more to them than a happy customer and repeat business. I?d think twice before using Dragon plumbing if I were you.

Great. After noticing a leaking water heater in the garage on a Thursday. I called around and found Dragon Plumbing offer the lowest flat rate for a new installed water heater and they were also able to install the soonest of all other companies I called. Installation, from start to finish was quicker than expected and randy was very helpful.

My drain line in my shower has been an on-going problem. Once a month the drain get clogged, I have a wire hanger I fashioned into a drain hook type clearing device. It is getting so annoying to do this every month, and I bit the bullet and called a professional. Dragon Plumbing came out and cleared the shower. They checked all the drains and made sure things through out the house were good, we found a toilet handle on the verge of snapping off so we replaced that too. I had a friendly technician who told me about a coupon and saved some money as well! I will recommend this plumber to anyone I know.

Ignores emails. Why post on Angie's List at all, if you're not going to respond back?

I shopped around and they were much cheaper than others. I called a few different places and they were ridiculous. Dragon was really reasonable. They were responsive and reasonably priced. They have weekend work. I would absolutely use them in the future.

I found Dragon Plumbing on Angie's List and after reading the reviews and checking their rating decided to call and schedule an appointment for some minor issues my mother and I needed to have taken care of. They were very professional on the phone when iAds the appointment and I assumed all would go well. The employee they sent arrived promptly at the scheduled time and was very polite and professional on first meeting. After showing him what the issues were and asking for a price quote, he stated that he would have to step outside to call his employer privately. That should have been my first clue that this was not going to go well. After several minutes he returned and quoted a price of $585.00 to do the job, and that this was a "discounted" price. I was also told that if we did not accept the price and let them continue with the job we would be charged a $75.00 service call. In other words, he had my elderly mother and me over a barrel. I felt we had no choice but to go ahead with the job, as we were going to be charged regardless. The "insides" of the toilet tanks that I thought were going to be replaced, ended up being "rebuilt". This included replacing a flapper in each toilet tank and doing a "hydro clean" on a valve. The hall bathroom still has issues with the toilet "running". The cartridge that was replaced in the kitchen sink did absolutely nothing to stop the constant dripping of water and the Dragon employee told me after installing this piece that we should have replaced the whole faucet! After listening to the faucet continue to run and drip, I was fortunate enough to have a family member come and replace it for me. Needless to say, I will not be calling this company ever again.

They were extremely responsive and had the owner out to see me for an estimate very quickly. We went over everything I wanted done and prioritized them. The job was scheduled and the plumbers they sent our were excellent and got the job done right the first time. These people are a true pleasure to deal with. Great company!

On time, excellent work and customer service. I would use them again and would recommend them to others.

It went well. The did it in a day two people were working on it. They left the area clean when they were done. They are very professional.

Purchased a house in the Winter Park area, wonderful house except it was plumbed with poly pipes that had exhibited recent leaks according to the seller?s disclosure. The seller received several quotes the previous year for the re-plumbing activity. One of the quotes was from Dragon Plumbing. The seller recommended Dragon Plumbing. Being new to the area, we went with Dragon Plumbing. I called and scheduled Dragon Plumbing to show up 2 hours after the close. The first meeting was a strategy session, since a re-plumb requires a bit more than a fixture replacement. They candidly involved me in this session revealing the pluses and minuses of different actions, all with an eye for minimized cost. For the next few days they did heart surgery on my newly purchased house, then patched it up and brought in an expert spackler to cover up their tracks. These folks are fantastic (period the end.) By the way, the final price was exactly what they quoted a year earlier to the sellers.

The tub spout job was performed quickly and efficiently. The kitchen faucet was more complicated. A part had to be ordered, which ended up not being available at all. So it turned into a faucet replacement job. And it had to be done quickly, because we were getting ready to leave town. The folks at Dragon Plumbing were very accommodating with our schedule and our quirky kitchen sink set-up, and we now have a working kitchen faucet with hot water that doesn't leak! And for a reasonable cost!

WARNING.......watch out for Randy! When he shows up....hold onto your wallet! He will build your bill up by excessive charges for each item repaired! I was told by the office that they charged $185 per hour but when the bill was presented I was told that they now have a specific charge for each item. Randy was here 1.5 hours. I wanted to pay with my Visa card and then was told that they would add $17.40 (4%) to the $435.00. The way that this company charges you MUST price exactly what you want done before the plumber arrives (or you will get a big surprise). I called another Angie's top rated plumber and asked for there prices for this exact same job and the answer was $275.00 because they charge by the hour and not for each item repaired! It will pay to shop prices before inviting this Dragon into your home!

They have a very fair price especially for doing work on a Saturday. I shopped around and they gave me a quote of $220 to install the water heater. I called around and had a bunch of different quotes. The quotes came in as high as $700 to install and $400 to install. For another company, they were going to come out and do the install and they were going to charge is $450. The guy from Dragon Plumbing Inc. came out and they came exactly when they said. They did the work and they did a good job. They were pretty straightforward. I had no complaints at all.

Arrived on time. Drew was friendly, very professional, and worked quickly. It was a pleasure doing business with Drew and Dragon Plumbing. I will recommend them to all my friends!

They were punctual, professional, patient, and very nice.

We had attempted to replace our toilet (which we have done before) but the flange fell apart and the job became more than we could handle. I called Dragon Plumbing on Wednesday morning, and they were able to send someone that same day. Drew arrived on time and was very pleasant and professional. He replaced the flange, installed the toilet, and grouted around the edge. We have used Dragon Plumbing before and would certainly use them again.

Just an Awesome experience from the first call to the finished product. Quick to respond, arrived timely, very professional, completed job in short order with a fair price. No Oversell, No BS, Just a great company. If I ever need a plumber again got their number on the water heater for an easy find. Thanks Dragon - kudos

Went efficiently and quickly.

The repair guy arrived right on time actually a little early. Looked at the broken toilet figured out the problem in a couple minutes went to the truck where he had all the parts he needed. Came back in fixed the toilet done works great. Super fast! I thought it was a little expensive but there was an Angie's list coupon for 5% off. Anyway great experience and fast and friendly.
