Description of Work: My fence was blown down in the hurricane and my neighbor and I decided to hire someone to replace it and split the price. The work was taking down and hauling the old fence away and installing a new fence and gate.

Description of Work: I need an estimate to replace a board on board fence that was damage from the hurricane. I have 242 ft.² of fencing that need to be replaced but I wanted to upgrade to a white vinyl tongue and groove.

Description of Work: We, my neighbor and I, requested that a certain type fence be built and showed a picture of what we wanted. Was told that was doable. Installers arrived several days late and started demolition of the old fence. The contract called for 125 feet with one gate. Installers worked for about 6 hours the first day and then notified me that they had to leave to go work on a previous job site that needed some modifications(?). They returned the next day to continue the job. As soon as they began putting up fence panels I realized they were not building the fence we requested. The installer said he knew nothing of the pictured fence I showed him and he was told to put up their standard board on board fence. The fence looks okay but it is not what we had signed on for in our minda. 60' of our fence shares a property line with a neighboring HOA. In a call to the office I asked if I could get a reduction in my bill in return for getting the HOA to contract with Big Woody's to install the same panels that we "ended up with". The panels would be attached to our fence posts that we paid a premium ($32 per foot) to have installed. I was told yes. The HOA then was quoted a price of $16 per foot and the fencing was installed. When my bill was due for payment I noted that there was no reduction for the referral. When I questioned where my discount was I was told that the office manager had misquoted the price to the HOA giving them such a discount that they could not give me a discount. When I said that maybe I should just pay my final bill minus $300 (that was all I was looking for) and that I would post my honest assessment of the company on line I was threatened by Big Woody with legal action on both counts.

Description of Work: Installed fencing for a very large project including White 6' Privacy fence and green vinyl chain link fence and 3 gates.

Description of Work: Fenced and gated small area between houses.Installer seemed to work independently from Woody's, told we'd have to wait until installer was nearby. Gate settled right away causing difficulties to close, had to list gate up. (I have back issues.) Very slow in response, arguing that someone must be abusing the gate. Neighbor finally repaired for me. Woody's quality of materials seemed fine.

Description of Work: In July 2005, Big Woody's replaced 160' of wood fence that had been destroyed by the hurricanes. I ask that the existing single wooden gate be replaced by a double gate. Since double gates are not standard, it had to be built on-site. The fence seems to be fine but within three (3) months of completion, the boards on the gate were separating & the gate was sagging badly. The hinges had separated from the post & the gate would not close/lock properly. I called Big Woody's & ask that someone come out to see if the gate could be repaired. I was told by the owner that the last storm, which came through South Florida & never touched Orlando, had voided ALL fence warranties in the state of Florida & that I had probably caused the damage myself. After several calls, I gave up & filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau.

Description of Work: THE WORK PERFORMED TOOK A WHILE REASON FOR BECAUSE ALL THE HURRICANES CAME AND IT DID A LOT OF DAMAGE BUT THE DID AN AMAZING JOB AND NOW MY FENCE IS VERY STRONG AND PRETTY .
