There was no problem scheduling the appointment, the day of the appointment went well, Manny said I would receive an estimate via email. I never received an estimate. Seems a bit of a waste for someone to come out and then no follow on communication.

The Landscape Architect, Manny Maestro gave us an awesome design. It was executed beautifully and on time. It took about a week to get everything done. Our plants are doing great - we gave him an estimated budget and the requirement that our plants be hardy, Hardy, HARDY. And they are. The workers were very nice and efficient. My brother used Keep It Green, which is how I chose them and I believe I speak for him as well that we would do it all over again.
Description of Work: Completely re-landscaped my front and back yard and put in a paver brick patio.

The end result is amazing! The plant choices and color combinations are all complimentary to each other and my property. They are symmetrical, despite the landscaper having to work with odd shaped flower beds and terminex bait stations. Half way through install, it looked so good that my neighbors started slowing down and asking for information about the company. We are just over a week out and all my plants are going strong. It seems every time I exit my front door a passerby tells me how wonderful my landscaping is. I know I am gushing but I am just so impressed with this company from start to finish, and I am difficult to please. Individual Reviews: The Landscaper: Manny is definitely one of the best in the business. He was our landscaper for the entire project and really our yard's hero. I couldn't have told you what I wanted, I didn't even know what a Queen Emma was, I was thinking African Lilies. (I even pointed across the street and said I like that but I don't want that. It might be nice to have a pygmy palm like them or that grassy stuff.. later found out it was Aztec grass) Good thing I told Manny have fun with it. He definitely has vision and can bring it to life. From the initial meet up down to the finishing touches, Manny handled everything and he went above and beyond. I probably talked his ear off and asked dozens of questions, he was patient and provided very knowledgeable answers. We even asked him about how to install rock around the plants that we were doing ourselves and he gave us very detailed instructions to ensure we didn't kill our plants. He made sure that we understood the initial upkeep versus the long term upkeep. Again he is great at what he does. The Owner: Forgive me I am bad with names. I am truly impressed with the level of involvement of the owner. If I called for any reason during the process, he called me back directly and promptly. Now mind you I never called to complain, I called once about scheduling and once about payment. This business really does put the customer first and it's easy to see why, the owner makes sure every customer feels like they are a V.I.P. The wonderful young lady who answers the phone: She is a doll, we spoke a few times and again the professionalism is spot on. A few pieces of advice given my experience: Understand these guys are in my opinion the best, which means they are also in high demand . One of the beauties of this business is it isn't a large business but a significantly more personal place. Also, it's landscaping service isn't just installs they run maintenance services as well and they are likely to be busy in the spring season as we all plant in spring and maintenance becomes more of a weekly thing. In other words, nothing is going in the ground the day after you call, try to allot for 1-2 weeks for design services, 1-4 weeks for install. 6 weeks total is likely a great exaggeration but if it comes in closer to two weeks you'll be pleasantly surprised instead of annoyed. Scheduling wise I think I waited a couple days initially for design and week from the time I scheduled install to actual install, but I have heard during the busy periods they have had to turn down projects because they couldn't get them on the schedule at the desired time. So be proactive call in advance, be willing to be patient, and you come out on top with outstanding results. If you have a specific vision in mind, you probably don't need a landscape designer, you could potentially draw up your own plan and telephone the Nursery to make appointments to order your plants and request install. If you're like me and you know you specifically want a particular flower to be included and you think you know what type of plants you want, be prepared to say so. For me I wanted something easy to handle (cause I don't have a green thumb and well I get gardening ADD) I also knew one way or another I wanted Lilies. The perfect solution, it is Florida so Manny selected lower maintenance tropical plants and my Lily is a Queen Emma. It plays a center piece to (my now) favorite flower bed. I can open my office window and stare at it all day. If you have no idea what you want, well do some homework, if you don't know what you want than neither will the designer... At a bare minimum be able to tell them whether you want flowering plants or not, and how much maintenance you're willing to do.
Description of Work: Installed all new landscaping (between 40 to 50 plants) in 3 larger flower beds.

I contacted them for the free landscape consultation. I had a general idea of what I wanted, curb appeal, low maintenance, rock instead of mulch. I am clueless when it comes to plants. Manny arrived for the appointment, we discussed what I had in mind. He viewed and measured the area and went to work on developing a plan. We played a little phone tag because my schedule is odd, but I was finally able to view the plan and the plants he suggested and loved it. I scheduled the work to be done. They arrived as expected and did an outstanding job. They were excellent at answering my questions and I absolutely love the results!

They called back more than once, which I liked. My husband was taken through all the plants they had and they have a good selection. They are a bit expensive, but very good in quality. I liked their services and will use them in future.

Overall it was a great experience. All the guys from Kevin, Rich the project manager, and the owner Brian were very helpful and professional. I loved going down to the nursery. They seemed very busy and were sometimes couldn't come exactly when we wanted but very worth it in the end. We have a solid start to our dream yard and can expand upon it whenever we want.
Description of Work: Keep it Green did a fantastic job on our relandscape job. We have lived in New Tampa for three years and always thought our landscaping was very plain. We had a friend use the company last year and their yard turned out great so we had them come out. Kevin came out to meet with us at our house so that he could see what we had and get an idea what we wanted. He did a scale drawing of the house and told us he would get back with us with recommendations. The best part was that we went down to the nursery when the drawing was ready so we could see the actual trees and plants Keep it Green was recommeding. There were two or three options for every area so we decided looking at them side by side. It turned out great, we put in a lot of cold hardy plants because of the bad winters we have been having, mediteranian fan palm, pendo palms. We used podocarpus and bottlebrush for shrubs. We also put in some crotons for color that we will have to take care of a little more closely.
