Description of Work: I just had like three trees pulled down, or more. They pulled down a tree right off the back of the kitchen, close to the house.

 + -1 moreThe price was pretty high because there was a lot of work. They came on time and did what they were supposed to do. For some of the trimming, they cut the branches a little bit too close to the trunk. They did not have a chance to heal quite right.

 + -1 moreBob and his crew of 5 showed up on time and Bob told his crew what I wanted and he left for another appointment. They followed his directions "to the letter." I was impressed how well the crew worked together. I had a lot of plants/trees under the large branches that needed to be cut and they "went the extra mile" to protect them. There was a squirrels nest that they took care not to destroy. When they were done, they cleaned up the trimmings from 3 yards and left them close to what they were when they started. I will use Bob's Tree Service in the future if I have similar work to be done.
Description of Work: My neighbor's oak tree was growing over my property line ruining some of my plants and needed to be trimmed.

 + -1 moreThey arrived on time. Bob came with the workers, we discussed the job and once the workers understood what to do, Bob left. The workers cut down the large stump, removed all of the branches that were in 2 piles, They ground all of the additional stumps that I had spray painted orange to identify. They raked up each area when finished. They were very polite and worked very hard. I was very impressed with the professionalism of Bob, Penny in the office and the workers who did the job. It was a pleasure to deal with a company that actually does the job, communicates with the customer, and is professional with every aspect of the job. Job well done!
Description of Work: My husband had partially cut down a large tree leaving the stump which was about 8 feet high and 2 piles of limbs. In addition to that we also had 6 tree stumps needing to be ground out. Bob was very responsive and came down the next day to look at the job. He gave me a price and told me the work would be 3 weeks out. I received a call several days later saying they could work me in in a couple of days. On the scheduled day of service I was called by Penny of the office to tell me they had additional work to do on the job they were on that day. I was given a new date of the afternoon of the next day. That was fine with me as they had called to let me know of the situation and one more day was no problem for me. Communication is essential and they were excellent with calling me to let me know what was going on and when they would be here. The next day I was called telling me they would be at my house in 45 minutes, I asked them to call me when they were close so I could put the horses up and unlock the gate. They called and said they were 2 minutes away. I put the horses up and went out to unlock the gate and they were at the end of my driveway.

 + -1 moreWe hired Bob's Tree Service to cut down 2 very large trees about 25-30 feet tall in our back yard. From the day Bob came out to give us an estimate to the day they did the work, I was very happy with the communication and phone calls etc. The work: The crew arrived on time, answered a few questions I had, and immediately started the work. A couple of times they had questions and came to the house and asked me (which I appreciate, I would much rather them ask than "assume" what we wanted done). We had them: cut down the 2 very large trees cut some of the smaller pieces in to firewood grind each stump take away all debis, including what was ground up from the stump. They did all of this while keeping withing a twenty foot span between our pool and our pond. They did a GREAT job! We would definitely hire them again when we need more trees cut.

 + 0 moreUpon receiving my phone call, Bob came out to see my place. Since my job was small in comparison to what Bob's Tree Service usually handles, Penny (their phone rep) immediately let me know that they would get to me as they could. She estimated four weeks. I didn't care - I just wanted it done at some point. Within a couple weeks, she called to say they would fit me in. In other words, they didn't forget about my smaller job. I spoke with Bob by phone to again clarify what I wanted done. He was very nice. When the job was finished, they did not expect payment until I had approved of their work. I thought they were very professional and never once did I feel like mine was an "inferior" job. They cleaned up very well and did not leave a mess. Also, since I have a dog, I told them to make sure the gates were closed, and they did!
Description of Work: Cut lower limbs off a huge tree in back yard and a large magnolia tree in the front yard. Hauled away all rubbish.

Description of Work: I contacted Bob's Tree Service based on his posting that he worked in Summerfield where I live, but after a few days a lady called to tell me that Bob does not work in my community. I was very disappointed as I thought that if you advertise an area you should go there.

 + -1 moreThey did a great job trimming back large over-hanging trees that could have potentially damaged cars in our company's parking lot. They were fast and efficient and cleaned up their debris completely. They also cut down 5 trees at our property that were hanging onto the roof of the home and were entangled in the overhead electrical service. I recommend them highly - they were clean, courteous and worth every penny. (And I should mention that with other companies I contacted I almost had to beg for a return call. Not Bob's - they called back right away and came out to give us the estimate the next day.)

In addition to the work originally quoted they trimmed up a couple smaller trees as a courtesy with no additional cost. A hardworking bunch of guys.

 + -1 moreI called for an estimate and was given one in a very timely manner. The owner was very friendly, informative. and took enough time to answer all our questions. There was a slight wait to get the work done as he was booked up but we where told of this,We agreed to the price and date. Around the time we expected him to come to do the work we called and where told the very next week he could come. We where told he would call before he came out and he did, the timing was well planned on his side and worked out very well. He arrived on time and went right to work. His crew was very good at cleaning up and tackling the whole job. They cleaned up everything they did and where VERY careful not to dig up any of the lawn that wasnt being worked on. I was amazed on how fast they where and did everything to expectation. They even took out a small tree/plant that had not been talked about previously but on the day they where here we decided to ask them if they would remove it. They did and came out great. I would say they met all my expectations of what tree company should be and at a reasonable price. Very pleasant to work with
