Alpha Omega Group

Was looking for someone to do tiling inside residential home. Alpha Omega was referred to me by HomeAd & Angieslist although it’s not part of their profile, they took on the job. Agreed on tile I wanted to install & had sample there & agent took a picture of same. They wrote up contract and I paid half up front $1082.50. Was told during the meeting on Friday April 26th there wouldn't be a problem getting the tile and work would start the following week on Wednesday or Thursday, even said she uses that tile often. We came back to Miami that Friday I tried to call her Sunday and Monday couldn't get a hold of her, and no calls or emails returned. Finally, on Friday she said she was out trying to find tile. Sending pictures of tile that didn't match anything we talked about or any of the design schemes I needed to coordinate with other existing tile. I ask why she hadn't called me all week but she had to get a new phone and number. The boss cashed the check on the 30th. I feel it’s a huge mistake to refer someone who does not have the qualifications to do the type of work needed. So when she couldn't get the tile the only thing they did was pull up the carpeting and put it in the garage. The tile we wanted was at a location, store close by but believe they were trying to use a cheaper tile. After issues couldn't be resolved I requested a refund to allow $150 to be applied to carpet removal and after stating they would pray on it they said they would give me a refund, and still haven't heard anything about that since. This is not the type of company anyone should be referred to especially since it is not in their job category and they have no existing reviews to evaluate them. The $150 was for carpet pulling & removal but it was never removed & had to get painter to do so for me.
