John was terrific. He fixed the garage door. Lubricated all the rollers. He also stapled the wires up to the ceiling so they wouldn't get caught in the belt. He replaced one minor part which he did not charge me for. He spent time explaining to me how to adjust the opener in the future if it needed adjustment. He also encouraged me to call him about minor issues and adjustments and said he would talk me through them for no charge. I was impressed with his knowledge but more so I was impressed with his attitude about providing a genuine service for a fair price. One of the best experiences I have ever had with a technician who fixed a problem for me.

John showed up, actually a little early, but called first to let me know he was coming. My garage door opener, a Lift-master, is a little more than four years old. The two-door garage door itself, 36 years old. Upon attempting to close the door, it would periodically go back up, after starting to close, as if something was in the way of the door sensors. John replaced one Photo Eye, & performed a Tune-up. The Door now works perfectly, & is quieter than it has been in years. John also gave me a $10.00 discount, thanks to finding them on Angie's List.

Like a charm! Husband and wife owned business and both came and worked together; took 2 hrs. plus a few minutes. They changed out everything, cleaned and swept up the garage, and waited for me to return to educate me on the use of the new system. I chose a belt drive motor vs. chain, an uncharge , and the opener has the feature to automatically close the door after 3,5, or 10 minutes9( as programmed) after being left up. They were so professional, on time, soft spoken, and left the garage looking better than when they arrived. I now have a large bright sticker on the motor and door so that in the event of a problem, I can call without having to search for the number!

Showed up on time and did a great job on the repair along with a little maintence. Professional attitude and friendly. Would absolutely use them again!

AA Affordable Garage Door Service is the best garage door company I have ever used in 35 years of home ownership. John and his wife could not have provided us with better service. His work is excellent and their prices are very reasonable. John educated me about garage door openers and maintenance. I would not hesitate to recommend AA Afford Garage Door Service again. I plan on using them in the future. FYI: It's a good idea to have your garage door inspected before something goes wrong.

I contacted Dawn at the office a few weeks ago and asked her for a quote for installing my new garage door. She told me that she would talk to John and call me back. She promptly call me back and told me that John needed to come over to the house to check what kind of door I had and make sure that it was going to work in order to give me a quote. John came over and looked at door and parts and provided me with a quote. Dawn called me back and we set the installation day. John and Dawn are a husband and wife team They showed up on time and did a great job installing my door. It was nice to see them work together. They make a great team and have pride in their work. I was happy with the work and service that they provided for me. I will call them again if I have any garage door issues. They are nice people. My new garage door looks great. My garage door spring broke on a Sunday. I called on Sunday and scheduled them for a Monday visit. John was out first thing to fix my door. On time and professional service. I will definitely call them again!

Bottomline: On time- friendly - explained the issues - fixed it - thanked me - told me to touch up the little rust patch on end of garage door I had not noticed. Really nice gentlemean.

My garage door wouldn't open with the garage door opener on Sunday. Consequently I couldn't get my car out of the garage. I went to Angie's List and noticed that AA Affordable Garage Door Service opened at 7:00 am. I called at 7:15 am on Monday and was told that a repairman would be at my house between 10:00-12:00. At 8:30 I received a call that the repairman was on the way and would be at my house within an hour. He arrived at approximately 9:00 am and replaced both springs, lubricated the springs , hinges, adjusted the closing force, and even lubricated the other garage door. All this before 10:00 am. I was highly satisfied and relieved that I could now get my cars out of the garage again. A great job and pleasant experience.

He was excellent. The price was better than other companies I got estimates from.

First visit they identified drive belt problem and spring tension issue. They recommended I get a warranty belt and they would install it. Belt came in and they completed the work.

It went very well. We were extremely happy with the person that did and the work they did. The price was very reasonable and we were happy with it.
