Fantastic, first honest roofer I've come across in 35 years. I recommend him highly.

Great. Prompt estimate provided and work performed in days of 1st meeting. Cost within expectations, all work performed in single day using large crew of half dozen workers.

I have been having issues with critters getting in my attic and had a guy come and do some trapping and sealing to get rid of the issue. He noticed the pipe where my electrical service enters my roof was leaning over and there was a hole through my roof. I called Robert and he said he was booked out at least four weeks but after I explained the emergency situation he said he could have someone out later that day to inspect it. A couple guys showed up right when he said they would and determined I had dry rot in the plywood and they would have to come back to repair it correctly. They did patch it with tar before they left for some temporary protection. They came back two days later exactly when they said they would and did the permanent repair. One of the guys even showed me photos of the damage before and then the after photos showing the repair. The shingles were almost a perfect match and you can't even tell a repair had been made. I will definitely be a future customer for any repairs and a new roof when needed.

The crew showed up early in the morning and completed the job on schedule. Not only are the new vents hurricane rated, they are aesthetically much better, and have reduced the heat in my attic dramatically. Since the install was completed we've had two heavy downpours. I'm pleased to say we are leak free!!!! My AC is now working efficiently!!!! Job well done!!!

We are not real thrilled as far as the color. They did not match the roof at all, and it is obvious. They came whenever they said they were going to come. I don't think that the shingles are lying flat, I don't think they were stuck on like they should have, but we haven't had rain, so I can't know. It cost us additional money, and I didn't think it would have. They said they would do the inspection, and we knew we needed repair, and I thought it covered everything, so I didn't anticipate paying extra. I wasn't here so I don't know if they were professional, but they said it would all work out and it did.

I can't say enough good things about Robert Kettelle and his staff We got a leak in the same area of the ceiling several months after his initial fix. My contractor said that roofers never guarantee there work and that I was waisting my time by contacting Robert. Ha---- My contractor was so wrong. Robert was determined to find the cause and didn't give up. I honestly felt like he really was looking out for our best interest. It turns out the new leak was caused by a pipe that had not out been sealed properly by our contractor. I can't say enough good things about Kettelle Roofing; They are Professional , Honest and Customer Service Oriented. I highly recommended them!!!! PS : 5 years from now when it's time to change the roof I will not hesitate reaching out to them again. A truly wonderful experience

Robert came to the house and provided an estimate. It turned out to be the lowest of three prices I obtained. The crew showed up on the following Saturday and completed the job per the instructions that we clearly specified on the estimate. I had extra concrete tiles but none of the original tiles were cracked or broken when they were removed to get at the bad piece of flashing that had to be removed and replaced. Clean up was thorough. Certainly would recommend Robert Kettelle Roofing to anyone without qualification. All payment was made after the job was completed.

After submitting an estimate for work (which I agreed to verbally, )didn't hear from him for a week. Called and was told "we can make it happen. No call back for appointment . Called again and was told we'll be out there next week--no call back and no show. Called again,was told "well do the job next week--No call back and No show. Called again. Gave up and hired new contractor.

I would highly recommend Robert Because he returned calls promptly He did what he said in a timely fashion and kept me updated regarding the permit, when repairs would start , arranged for the inspectors to Come out etc The highest compliment I can give him is he was honest. He gave his price up front where we had some unscrupulous roofers who bid a price I knew was out of line and when I said so one cut his By over 50% I like that Robert gave a fair price to start with did all the work in a timely manner and kept me informed You can't ask for more than that I am a happy customer

We discovered leaks in our kitchen ceiling where the flat roof of the lanai met the main roof of the kitchen as well as leaks in the lanai roof. We decided to have the lanai roof replaced as it was quite old. Robert was contacted and responded very quickly and set up an appointment to estimate the work. The estimate was provided the next day and the job was agreed upon and an estimated start date set. His team arrived just as expected and got to work. They discovered additional roof issues when tracing back to the source of the kitchen leak. I joined them on the roof to discuss the issues. They found several rotted plywood boards, improperly sealed vents, and two layers of shingles. We discussed options and agreed to replace the entire roof. Robert redid his estimate and we agreed on a fair price for the work. His team were very hard workers, fast movers, and cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day. They also made sure that by the end of the day, the roof was sealed in case it were to rain overnight. They worked long hours each day and ensured that all damaged plywood was replaced so that they had a solid surface to lay a new shingled roof on. The main carpenter for the team did an excellent job in cutting out any rotted trim and replacing it. The team foreman, Grant, was very easy to work with and addressed all my questions as the work progressed, usually already steps ahead of me. Robert was in communication with his crew regularly as any issues arose and would stop by to inspect the progress first hand. We were very pleased with the work and would recommend this company.

They completed the majority of the work in one day with 3-4 workers, It was important that they not break existing tiles and they met that goal. They ran out of tile bonding material and needed a second trip on another day. I did not see them return but was told that they did and finished the job. I was not home that day and cannot say one way of the other, but have that lingering doubt....

I contacted this company after having a previous roofer supposedly fix leak. The leak was not fixed correctly and it started leaking again. I was unable to reach them. The second time around I did the smart thing and checked angie's list. This company was great, they were punctual and went right to work. They were prompt, cheerful & courteous. The roof leak was repaired in a few hours, the price was reasonable too.

They were quick the first time to come out. The same spot started leaking again. They were slow to come back to repair leaks. They came and fixed it and didn't charge me anymore. I asked if they could get Robert to send a detailed estimate of damage, such as location of leak. I have since spoken with him about it and he is going to send it to me.

The crew showed up (4 guys), and got to work on repair of a tile roof that had rain water pouring behind the gutter. They worked removing tile, replacing rotted 2 x 4 on eve, replacing plywood and sealant, replaced the tiles and painted to match the roof. Several hours work and cleaned up after themselves. Nicely done quickly, cleaning and reasonable charge.

Talked to someone on morning of Wed, 02/10/2016 who said Robert would call me soon. He called me in less than an hour. I told him I had a roof leak and he said he could come out and look at it Thursday or Friday And that he would call back later that day (Wed) to let me know when, Since I didn't hear back from him I called him the next afternoon, Thursday. We decided that he would come out Friday and he would call me Friday morning to tell me an approximate time. Again no return phone call. It became apparent that he either did not care to or couldn't service me, however a simple phone call would have been appropriate with respect to that and put an end to wasting my time. I waited until Monday, 02/15/2016, to call another company. In that time I never heard from Robert.

Robert was very informative and helpful. Gave an honest appraisal; thankfully, my roof is in good shape. Did not try to sell me anything.

It went extremely smooth from start to finish.Robert got back to me almost immediately and we arranged an inspection the following morning.He showed up on time and was extremely knowledgeable,informative,and most important,honest.He provided me with photos of the damage as soon as he came down from the roof.The roofing tiles were over 10 years old and somewhat faded and Robert did his very best to match them almost perfectly.He kept me informed from start to finish and his crew was equally professional when they came.I would highly recommend Robert Kettelle Roofing and will call him in the future if the need ever arises.Thanks Angie's List

Believe all is fixed. Time will tell but Mr. Kettelle's explanation of reason for my ceiling leaks, the obvious defects in the roof, and the repairs made all seem logical and consistent.

Would recommend this contractor for any job big or small. Mine was a small job that other vendors either didn't want to do or gave me a bogus large estimate.. Have one in hand from "reputable" roofing company on Naples = $650.. When job was done you couldn't tell a fix had ever been made.. SUPER!!!!!

Now, this is going to sound like a bad review. Mr. Kettelle was EXTREMELY professional. Here is the problem I have with a service like this. I guess, since I'm a novice I should have known. Don't pay 100 dollars towards a possible repair. Here is the problem. The business is able to then adjust their price to compensate for the 100 dollar "diagnosis." Just hire someone for a free estimate. His prices were simply $700-1000 more expensive than any of the other estimates I had gotten. The other two were free. Buyer beware. Although I am sure Mr. Kettelle would have done a good job, this practice should key you off to the underlying theme. They offered me a $100 credit if I had them do the work. The problem is that when it is a grand cheaper to have another reputable company do the work, you just threw a hundred bucks away. Think about the "deals" on here (Angie's list). They aren't always such a great "deal."

Robert and his crew did a great job, at a great price. Honest and reliable, I will go to him first for any rood problems, and will recommend him to all my friends.

Came to my house as agreed. Angie's List Special. Robert let me know right off the bat my new gutters installed by someone else were not at the correct pitch on the front of the house. There were already seedlings sprouting in the area where water was accumulating. He said we could use some new caulking around ridge vent and other vents. He sent some one later for the fix up job.
