The tree was removed with no damage to house or utility connections. The house roof was left unswept and had lots of small pieces of branches and sawdust. The stump was mostly ground down except for several large chunks that were left above ground. Approximately 1.5 cubic yds of grindings and saw dust were left on the site and used to cover up the remaining pieces of stump leaving a large diameter mound that was probably about 8 - 10 inches above grade. The proprietor has failed to respond to calls and emails about the incomplete stump removal and sloppy cleanup job.

I originally called to have an evaluation of some oaks I was concerned about since they hadn't produced the canopy I was used to in previous years. I was also interested in having some limbs removed and thinned on some trees. I was quoted a price and told that it might be a couple of weeks,before it could be done and would probably be an end of day job.. I was not ready to commit at that time. My first and only direct contact was answered in a reasonable time (about 1 day as I recall). On the basis of that contact and conversation I decided on Word of Mouth Tree Service after calling 2 other services. About 3 weeks ago, August 26, I called and left a message that I wanted to go ahead and schedule the job. After 3 weeks, I called again Sept. 13. To date I have not received a return phone call and am now looking for another company to do the job.

I had already quoted 4 tree trimming services before my neighbor had suggested his go-to-guy "Word of Mouth." The quoyes ranged from $2700.00 to $400.00 (some guy driving by in a car). I was concerned about the long term life of my trees and wanted them treated well so they would continue to thrive. Previous companies I'd hired had over-trimmed them. When Perry came to provide the quote there was no doubt he was the most knowledgable of anyone I had met with. He genuinely cares about trees and is a certified Arborist. I didn't want the cheapest. I wanted the job done right at a reasonable price. Based on my meeting with Perry and my neighbor's recommendation I felt WOM was the best choice. It took a couple weeks to get them here because they're so busy but Perry always kept me updated. When we scheduled the appointment they showed up right on time with a small team and all kinds of equipment (incl a cherry picker). The trees look fantastic now and much more balanced. Light is coming into my front lawn where there was little before. You can't even tell they were here because they cleaned up so well. It was very important to them that I was happy with the work and they checked in with me to be sure I was happy with their approach. Very very happy. I committed that "Word of Mouth" will be my tree trimming service from now on. Highly recommend them.

They did a superb job! Their prices are very favorable. They come out to work, not pass the time! They give you a price for the job, come out, do it, and get on to the next job! It took them about two hours to complete the job! They are very busy, but when they get out to you, they do great work!

Shawn, The Tint Man is incredible! From the first time I contacted him to obtain information, he was professional, cordial, and always available to answer my questions. Shawn is not only very professional, but he truly cares about doing a great job as if it were his own house. After he tinted our picture window and front door, our house is no longer a greenhouse in the afternoon, and we can now look outside and enjoy privacy at the same time! My wife originally wanted us to try tinting the windows on our own, but now she is so grateful that we contacted The Tint Man in order to get the job done right! By the way, his prices are excellent and by picking out the right kind of tint for our windows, we even feel better about living in the house we just bought last summer.

The company arrived on time with a cherry picker and within an hour or so removed the majority of Spanish moss and air plants from a large oak tree in the front yard. They also identified some Spanish moss starting to infest a ligustrum tree and removed it at the same time. They were prompt and professional.

He is outstanding. They got here on time, so they were extremely punctual. They charged what I considered to be a very reasonable price. Their cleanup following their service was fantastic. They really did a nice job of leaving the property really neat. Their professionalism was outstanding and the best I've ever associated with. The owner is knowledgeable and he knows what he is doing.

It went very well. My husband and I were very concerned because the tree was so close to the house and five windows! They "surgically" removed the tree while I watched (my husband couldn't stand to watch as he was sure they would break a window). Efficient, friendly, professional, and they went the extra mile. We have over 5 acres and a few more trees that really probably need to go so I will be calling again.

Perry came to our home to give an estimate. He was very good to listen to our requests and make recommendations for trimming large oak trees. The crew came days later to do the job. They were finished FAST and the area was spotless. All debris was removed and area swept clean. Amazing price for quality work.

Company Owner Perry Tollman and his crew arrived punctually at 8:30 am and immediately went to work once instructions were given to workers addressing various portions of our job. About 1-hour later you could hardly tell that anyone had been working in our yard on 3 different sides around the house as both the yard and street were raked and swept incredibly. Twice workers checked all areas where they had been to pick up any remaining debris that may have been missed by raking (even small stuff in shrubs and plant beds). The communication among the crew members was I thought exceptional and their demeanor and work ethic most colleagial and professional. At all phases of the job while actual tree trimming and removal was in progress, I was consulted as to whether or not anything else needed to be done. As an Arborist, Mr. Tollman and some of his crew members (as everyone had their own assigned jobs to do in order to maximize efficiency) provided what I thought was excellent advice both for the benefit of ourselves as homeowners (who wanted portions of the job done in order to avoid future issues of tree/branch damage to our roof or pool enclosure during typical heavy rain/wind storms), as well as for the overall health and look of the trees being trimmed. In the end, couldn't been more pleased with the outcome. For the tree that was cut down, the stump grinding was throughly done so that all we need to do is get a little top spoil and a few pieces of sod. Ultimately, there was genuine interest and concern displayed that all work was done as previously discussed when estimates were first being prepared, as well as taking into account our current expectations once the job got underway. Personally, this level of attention has not always been encountered during other projects where the overriding need seems to be more of "get in and get out quick". Since trees keep on growing, in about 2 years when there is likely to be the ened for some additional trimming, I know who we will be calling again.

The estimate was provided in a reasonable amount of time, and at an acceptable amount. I received a lower estimate from another company, but decided to go with Word of Mouth Tree Service because of the quality of previous work that they provided to us. They had over a week's worth of backlog from other jobs, but my job wasn't urgent, so I had no problem waiting. They arrived right on time, and quickly started the work. The job was complete within a couple of hours, and the yard was cleaned well. Neighbors have since commented very positively about the quality of the work and the appearance of the trees.

Outstanding experience. Perry arrived with his work crew and equipment on time and immediately began simultaneous tree work. He and I inspected each tree before the project was completed. No wasted time and thorough cleanup. I will definitely call Perry before beginning my next tree project.

After a couple of broken appointments a crew arrived with a trailer and bucket truck. The men got to work trimming the large palm and the yews. When the work was completed the foreman asked to be paid. I provided a check for $250. as agreed. I asked if there was room in the trailer could they take a small ten-foot tall tree along that I had cut down; he agreed and they left. I then noticed that the entire lower trunk of the palm had gone untouched. I had previously ripped off the old stubs of the fronds but the trunk remained scruffy and needed cleaning up. The volunteers that had intergrown the yews still remained; although some had been hastily ripped out; they will certainly all grow back as none had been uprooted. Similarly, the palmettos had not been uprooted but merely trimmed back to the ground. They too have rebounded and are growing back. The cleanup job was thorough however. To emphasize the extent of my misplaced trust and naïvete I later hired a neighborhood fellow who trimmed two large palms, in my back yard, uprooted all of the weeds as well as the remaining palmettos and set four posts I will use for clotheslinesin the ground with cements for a hundred dollars pay. It goes without saying that I will no longer be paying anyone without first thoroughly inspecting the work done.
