They installed the counter top and came over in a timely manner. The issue was that my tenant called for a warranty because one of the corners started breaking apart. I ended up coming back last May and I fixed it myself because we were unable to reach the service provider. After the first call my tenant made, they stopped replying to the calls.

Jim, contacted me back right away to apologize that they would not be able to take on my job (fairly good size job too), due to their current work load. Although it's a bummer for me personally, it was great to get a call back and be let know right away. That helped me move to the next person.

Jim was very responsive in meeting with us to go over our needs. He had us have an additional meeting with the tile installer to make sure we were getting what we wanted. Jim went with us to look at the countertops and made sure we received the quality and price we were looking for. The scheduling was coordinated well with Jim and the other subs that were used. This was extremely helpful since we live in a gated community.

First Jim the Owner called returned my initial phone call while on the way home from an ER visit for a family member! That was impressive considering it takes days to get a call back from most companies and he called me back within a couple hours of leaving a message! We had a hanging cabinet that was literally pulling away from the ceiling and appeared that it would fall at any moment! So while there was urgency to the project... it wasn't a huge kitchen redo or anything super expensive. He was also honest with me when he quoted me and told me there might be additional cost depending on the problem once they took down the cabinet. He managed to squeeze me in quickly and sent a team of two hardworking guys who did an amazing job!!! They were professional and very helpful. Once they got the cabinet off the ceiling they went through specifically what the issue was (poor craftsmanship to begin with as the cabinet was being held up with 4 screws and had plywood shoved in one spot to make it flush!) They fixed it in two days (mostly because they had to do some drywall repair.) I wasn't charged anything over the quoted amount. On top of that they were clean and tidy. I couldn't have been more happy with our experience and the company communication. We have several other projects that we will be using them for in the future.

My dealing with Kitchen Crafters, Altamonte Springs Fl. was a very positive and enjoyable experience. Prior to negotiating my kitchen remodel contract, I contacted a former customer who was overjoyed about her experience with Kitchen Crafters performance. All I heard was praise focusing on their professionalism and willingness to adapt to project changes. The contract negotiation was pleasant and the final agreed-to price was more than reasonable considering the magnitude of the job. Additionally, I based my decision to move forward with Kitchen Crafters after speaking with two other local Kitchen Contractors whom I felt were unreasonable and proven many times to be behind schedule commitments. From the onset the Kitchen Crafters team kept me fully informed of each step along the way. I was impressed by their constant communication and willingness to listen about my concerns. The job was a large kitchen remodel. Prior to beginning the job, we sat down, scrutinized the 3d computer model drawings and agreed to the task list and timeline. My entire kitchen was gutted. The remodel consisted of relocating walls and reconstructing everything from the ground up. Each day, the team showed up on time. They worked tirelessly and put in a solid day?s work - every day. Despite last minute changes, unforeseen circumstances, and more, the entire team was courteous and professional. To ensure the promised end date was met , the owner contacted me to request is they could work weekends as needed. Despite the always unforeseen ?gottchas? the project was completed on time and within budget. If I ever have a need for Kitchen Crafters to do more work for me, such as my bathrooms?.I would not hesitate to give them a call.

They did a good job, and I was very pleased. They were punctual, and very business like, and they were here when they said they would be here. There were no surprises, and he fixed the one small item I was concerned about.

We talked to other kitchen specialists. What sold us on Kitchen Crafters was the down to earth no nonsense approach of Jim Knowles. Jim was very helpful when we were in the design and material selection stages. What made it work was the project management by Jim. We knew exactly what was to be done an when. Jim called or came to monitor the project daily. The work was on time everytime. Contingencies were handled swiftly. If we thought anything need to be correctly it was done right away with no fuss. We gained a lot of storage in both the kitchen and the laundry with Jim's recommendations The experience was much bettered than anticipated. The quality of materials and workmanship was top notch. We love our new kitchen and laundry.

From the very first visit this was by far the best service we have ever received from a service provider. Jim, the owner, came to our house first. He measured, gave us suggestions we had never thought of and promptly sent us a quote and a computer rendering of what he wanted to do. We went to his showroom (by appointment only) went over options and picked our new kitchen out. The samples he has available will amaze you. Who knew there were 15 or more shades of white? No matter what you are looking for, he will have access to it. The team showed up when they were supposed too, everyone showed the utmost professionalism and Jim checked in by phone or in person almost daily. Our kitchen was completed within 6 weeks. The longest and hardest part was waiting for the granite counter tops to be cut after the templating was done! Our kitchen is so far beyond anything we could have dreamed of. It is gorgeous!! I would hire Jim and the guys from Kitchen Crafters again in a heartbeat. Best experience, quality product, quality craftsmanship.

Jim, the owner. He returned my call, contacted me again the next day & said since their showroom was not open to the public, he'd make an appointment. I didn't hear from him until 9pm on 3/4 & 4 days later. I advised we have contacted another company. *I learned she had been in the hospital and recuperating at home.

I had contacted Jim two weeks ago to get an estimate on redoing two bathrooms. He was supposed to come today at 11 am. He called at 0850 to let me know that he can not bid on my job because he has scheduled two other big jobs. Not sure about this Angie's list at this point!!

While updating appliances in the kitchen, I ran into problems with the height of the trim surrounding the new microwave- I was unable to open the upper cabinet doors. I called Jim and he gave me such a reasonable quote to modify the panel, I gave it to him to take back to his shop and did not bother to get a 3rd estimate. A few days later, Jim called to confirm a time to install the panel and Chris showed up for installation, Chris was very polite and courteous, he worked efficiently and when he was done he asked if he was to install the microwave/trim kit also. I said it would be nice since my husband was not that trilled about doing it. Little did I know that Chris had never installed something like this before- It wasn't until Jim showed up to check how the job was going that he commented it was good experience for him. I would have never known because Chris was so efficient in the process. We were happy to pay the additional charge to install the microwave/trim kit. While Jim was there he also gave me a quote for new granite countertops- which is in my near future. Very pleased with the entire experience, Thank you!

I called Kitchen Crafters on 1/6 to discuss a kitchen remodeling project at my home. Jim was prompt in returning my call that same day. He asked what I was looking for and if I had had done any research. I am a new homeowner and this is my first experience remodeling so the only place I had looked was Ikea. He immediately let me know that, in his experience, people who mention Ikea are interested only in the cheapest option and that he was not going to be able to compete with their prices. He also said that his work is of higher quality. So then he asked me again if I was just looking for the lowest priced option. I told him that, of course, price was one factor but not the only only factor and that there was upside on my budget ($15,000) for quality work. He told me that they were very busy but that I would be receiving a call from his designer (I forget her name) in a couple of days. A week and a half has passed without that phone call. To be honest, I was slightly put off by Jim's lack of enthusiasm and repeated implications that I was looking for the cheapest option. Couple that with what appears to be either my total dismissal or just poor communication and looks like I'll be seeking out someone else to help remodel my home.

After getting a few estimates, we decided to go with Kitchen Crafters. We couldn't be more pleased. You hear horror stories about remodeling projects so we were not sure what to expect. This company not only was upfront about all the pricing at all times but were professional and responsive. If we needed anything or had a question before or during the project, they were always available to answer any questions. One of the most important things to us was that the job be done right and in the time promised. This company really came through for us. The quality of our cabinets and our countertops is superb. Our kitchen looks fantastic. We are so happy with not only the results but how easy they made the transition for us. I will definitely be recommending this company to family and friends.

The kitchen is beautiful! The materials are top-quality and the price was reasonable. Jim did a great job on our kitchen.

Jim Knowles was very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Every large renovation has its problems - Jim handled them with great patience and grace. He uses quality craftsmen that were also good to work with. We were very happy with the result and love our new bathroom. His price to do the work was not the lowest but we are very happy the quality/value of his work.

We are very pleased with the custom wood cabinets that Kitchen Crafters installed for our kitchen and bath remodel. Jim Knowles is professional and easy to work with, and the custom cabinets are high quality. We completely gutted our kitchen and bath and added a breakfast room. Kitchen Crafters supplied custom wood cabinets for the kitchen, island, home office, and half bath. All of the cabinets are high quality and look great. Jim was very knowledgeable and helped us with the design process, and he coordinated well with our general contractor. Jim's team of installers was also very professional. They did a great job installing the cabinets and even helped us identify some drywall issues to ensure the cabinets looked their best.

We couldn't be happier! We had Jim remodel our kitchen several years ago. We recently purchased another home and were so happy with the first kitchen Jim did for us, that we didn't even entertain the thought of using another company. Jim's cabinets are beautiful and top quality. He has a large variety to choose from with many different options. He's extremely knowledgeable and offered excellent suggestions. He developed a design for the kitchen that was better than we ever imagined. He and his crew were always punctual and professional and truly a pleasure to work with. He developed a schedule and was always either on or ahead of what was planned out. We had a dinner party right after the kitchen was finished and our friends were so complementary and amazed at how beautiful our new kitchen looks.

Jim was very easy to work with. Everything cleaned along the way. Barriers put up when popcorn ceiling was being removed. Jim helped me choose the perfect finish for the cabinets which would go with the floor tile. He knows the products backwards and forwards and I got more than I expected. The hardware was included in the price and the price was so close to my budget. He had wonderful suggestions and was a very reasonable person to work with. On-time, set alarm, professional. Some of his crew members have been with him for 20 years which says a lot for both the quality of work and dependability. Project was basically finished on time. Damaged doors held up the completion by a week, but the kitchen was ready for use even without the final 2 cabinet doors. Nothing had to be done a second time. Measurements were PERFECT! Results are terrific. I have shown friends and they think the results are wonderful. I didn't choose the high end cabinets and yet, the kitchen is perfect.Final clean up was great. Jim kept me informed all along the way. He has a nice showroom which can help anyone decide. Access to the showroom is by appointment and so anyone wanting individualized attention will have it.

Jim visited my home and then designed the kitchen according to my needs and wants. He gave me a schedule of when things would be happening and pretty much followed it. If something was delayed, I would receive a call (which I greatly appreciated). The workers cleaned up each day and were respectful and professional. My new kitchen is fabulous! I would highly recommend Kitchen Crafters.

Bathroom upgrade/renovation. Kitchen Crafters provided excellent materials, knowledgeable workman and quick follow-up. Plus, they stayed within the given quote. Work was accomplished quicker than expected. I would recommend this organization to anyone and plan on using their services again in the near future.

Jim was really helpful in the whole process. He showed up to do the estimate on time and did a very professional job demonstrating his design and listened to what we had to say and turned it into something better than we have imagined. He hired good people to do very good jobs on the tile installation, electrical work and cabinet installation. He was responsive in the whole process and kept us informed about the status all the way through. Although there was a delay on the cabinet delivery from Smithport he tried his best to minimize its impact on the whole project. I got a lot of compliments on my new kitchen from my neighbors and coworkers and I highly recommend him to those who are looking for quality work in kitchen remodeling.

Well it is a month later and Jim never did get back with us regarding cabinets I guess he wasn't in the business.

Our master bathroom cabinets & counter tops went from worst-to-first thanks to Jim Knowles / Kitchen Crafters. Jim really knows his stuff and is easy to work with. And the quality/construction/workmanship of his Smithport brand of cabinets (and his installers) is impressive.
