IGC ROOFING

The day the job started it went downhill, add on after add on became common place. In the first 2 days we had charges for an additonal $22K because their core sample was incomplete and they missed a critical propblem. We monitored the work from start to finish, taking many photos, and it just got worse. At about 1/2 way through we had heavy rains and found we had ponding water (code violation), This was not corrected and they flew through the rest of the job. At this writing, a year later, we have spent many dollars in legal fees, IGC has closed it,s doors and filed bankruptcy. We have a non-leaking roof that still need to be redone. Sadly, Isaac Garvin still has his roofing license. He has not paid a subcontractor their $22K though IGC was paid for 2/3 of the job. He has filed leins and we have filed suit. It is a no-win situation where we will have to cut our losses. The upside is the roofing consultant we hired says the roof IGC put down will be a good underlayment for a new roof to be on. :(

The roof is leaking. I paid for a sealant and they did not put it on. They are not coming to do anything about it. It is ruining the interior of my roof.

THEY WERE QUICK TO ASK FOR AND RECEIVE A DEPOSIT, BUT VERY SLOW TO APPEAR FOR THE WORK. THEY BROKE MANY PROMISED APPOINTMENTS TO BEGIN THE JOB. EVENTUALLY, WE HAD TO VISIT THE OFFICE AND DEMAND A REFUND. THIS ACTUALLY HELPED GET THE WORK DONE (AFTER A COUPLE MORE BROKEN PROMISES). WHEN THE WORK WAS COMPLETED, THE ROOF LEAKED AFTERWARD, BUT THE COMPANY WAS REASONABLY PROMPT AT FIXING THE LEAK.
