Dominic was extremely thorough and produced a very detailed inspection report with photos and descriptions of what he found. I highly recommend his company and would use him again.

We used Dominic D'Agostino for our home inspection based on the recommendation of our real estate agent. I never would have thought to have a home inspection completed for a new construction house, but every penny of the $499 cost was worth it. He found cosmetic items that should be corrected that I would have never seen, as well as more serious issues that I would have assumed would not be present in a brand new home. Dominic was already present at the home when we arrived shortly before our scheduled appointment time. We presented himself very professionally, and was pleasant to speak with. Having myself (the home buyer), my partner, my father, and my realtor all present, he was very cordial to everyone during the inspection. Dominic was extremely thorough in the inspection, marking items and taking photos. What I liked most, however, is that he always directly his communication towards me as the home buyer (and is customer), not the other men that were present. He was engaging and explained not only things of concern, but also just some helpful FYI's about the house and systems. He spent almost 3 hours inspecting the home. After wrapping up close to 1pm, we asked when we expected to receive the report. He replied that it would be the same day, after 5pm or 6pm. The report was delivered before 5pm. I would not hesitate to recommend Dominic to anyone looking for a home inspection in the Greater Orlando area!

Great price and was very honest. I asked if I should get his premium service, and he recommended against it due to age of the house - classy move to not upsell an unnecessary product. His report was exactly what I was looking for complete with clear photos and descriptions of what needs repair. The website even had a tool to select a report of items that needed fixing to send to the seller. Finally, a couple of days before the inspection, I called him to ask about termite inspections and he arranged a great termite inspector to be present during our planned inspection window. Having both done at the same time was very helpful. One final plus was that I showed up a few minutes early and he was already there!

Dominic was great! On time, professional, responsive and flexible when I had to change my appointment at the last minute. He was very friendly. I read a book while he did his inspection. He kept me informed throughout his inspection. He was great when I asked him questions. I would definitely recommend him and use him again, if I ever needed it.

Dominic did a great job. Worked for a full two hours on a 20 year old home in a 55+ community. At the completion, he asked if I, the buyer, wanted to meet privately with him or if he should share defects with myself and the seller. This is a FSBO. He very tactfully told us the pros and cons he found. Great service and will use again!

Dominic performed a thorough inspection on our new construction home. He was punctual, extremely observant, knowledgeable and professional. At first we were hesitant in investing the cost on an inspector for a newly built home, however the things that the inspector found (although small, thank goodness) I wouldn't think twice about investing in his services. Mr. D'Agostino is absolutely wonderful! My husband and I were in the process of purchasing a home. We had looked at the home a couple of times, but on the day of the home inspection, my husband was working out of town and I was left in charge. I have no idea what to look for during a home inspection, but I felt completely confident with Mr. D'Agostino as the inspector. I was there with a realtor and a contractor and Mr. D'Agostino was very discreet, calling me aside to comment on every little detail; things that would have never occurred to me! He was extremely thorough. Later, I received a report complete with photographs of every detail. I have never seen such a thorough inspection carried out in any home in which I have lived. And of course, he was punctual (actually early) and courteous.

All I can say is WOW! The reviews for his inspection service was completely true. He was early, organized, polite, professional, and my realtor was highly impressed. Dominic sets the bar incredibly high with his services. My brother had just bought an older home as well back over the summer and I wish he had contacted HomePride for the Inspection because his inspector glazed over things. I will definitely suggest his inspection services to anyone buying a home! Some key points that I feel make his service stand out: His report was done and emailed back to me that night. I have to say that is very impressive because for a few other business's I'm still waiting for their reports. The report is detailed and very thorough, it's like a roadmap for where you need to start on what to fix an what is more important first. He would check in with me and explain the things he saw and what they meant. This was important as I was learning about a lot of things I just haven't been around in the home buying process. In the end, he offered me a discount of $50 dollars because I mentioned I had found the service from Angie's List. I was shocked because I felt the value already was there even at the $399 price point. Then as I found out from my insurance company that I need the 4pt. separately and a wind mitigation inspection, he quickly sent over the additional reports for a small charge of $75 each. So yes, I spent another $150 total but it was worth it cause it was all done thoroughly and professionally, all in the same day as the requests. So rest assured, if you are reading these reviews and in the search for inspector.. HomePride Inspections is the only choice!

Dominic inspected two houses for us. In the first, he uncovered a laundry list of major repairs and safety issues which helped us to decide to back out from the purchase. The second house inspection went smoother, but he still found plenty of issues which allowed us to negotiate for credit from the sellers for repairs, as well as a convenient list of minor repairs for us to take care of as we move into the house. Dominic is extremely professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. I completely trust his judgement, and he will be happy to give advice or clarify issues over the phone about the house that you might have forgotten to ask at the inspection. His reports come promptly (on the same day of the inspections in our case!) with plenty of notated pictures and even videos with accompanying explanations and advice. You'll definitely get your money's worth, and he won't try to charge you anything extra. On his website, there is an extra charge for an old house and a crawlspace, but he didn't try to charge me those extra fees. He also gives a repeat customer discount. Do not try to skimp on an inspection, it saved us from a very bad decision!

Dominic was right on time for the home inspection and was friendly and professional throughout. He was very methodical in his inspection so nothing was missed and, when I had to leave before his inspection was a complete, he gave me a quick review of what he'd found (good and bad) to that point. He was going up to the roof to inspect the air conditioning compressor for our unit and discovered that the access door to the roof (it's a high rise condo) was locked. When he called, the association told him they wouldn't give him the access code until he showed them his credentials (good for security, very inconvenient for Dominic). Although I know his schedule was packed that day, he went to the association office (about a 15 min drive away), got the code and came back later to do the roof inspection. I think most inspectors would have just written off that part of the inspection and said they couldn't complete it. We're so glad Dominic didn't do that, he discovered that the cover protecting the electric connections on our compressor was missing. Thanks to Dominic's dedication to his profession, we were able to get the cover replaced before serious damage was done to the unit. Again, I know his schedule that day was packed but he still delivered the report to my email inbox the night of the inspection so that we could move quickly forward to fix the items of concern. We had debated whether we should bother with a home inspection, everything looked ok and the unit was being sold "as is" but decided that having a professional inspection would help us know if there was something significant (electrical/plumbing/roof leaks) that we needed to address right away. Looking back, money well spent and particularly on Home Pride.

Dominic wasn't just on time, he was early. Which was great because I had to squeeze this inspection in during the work day. He was very friendly and open to any questions. And questions there were as I am a first time home buyer. Before leaving he personally walked me through and highlighted the areas of concern. I don't frequently write reviews so I don't know what else to say other than that Dominic was fantastic and will be recommending him to any friends when they shop for a home.

If I ever move again, Dominic is who I will call. He was extremely thorough and so detailed during the process and in his report. We had him come back for re-inspection after work was completed. Truly professional and a pleasure to do business with. Perfect, could not have asked for anything better.

I cannot say enough good things about Dominic. He arrived promptly at 11AM as he specified. He unloaded a ladder, a bag of tools, and a paper with the home information I had given him on the phone. He then came over to greet me and my realtor. He took a few minutes at the start of the visit to lay out the expectations. What was amazing is that he said, "I'm not going to point out cosmetic things like leftover nails or small carpet stains." as he pointed to each of those things on the stairwell that I hadn't even noticed in two previous home visits. (He had only been in the door 1 minute at that point.) He obviously has some sort of inspector eagle eye ability! Then Dominic got to work. He was running around the house very procedurally and taking pretty much just a ladder and a camera with him. Whenever he would find something that he was concerned about, he would investigate further and then take a picture where he put something in the picture for scale along with the item of concern. Every 1/2 hour or so, he would come back to where my wife and I were and would show us a few things of particular interest, explain his level of concern with them and then get back to work. He went through every single inch of the home, the exterior, the attic, and brought a special bag of tools to assist in giving us accurate information about the state of things. He tested every appliance in the home, the looked at the output of every AC vent, he tested moisture content in all walls, and he found just about everything he could have possibly found in the time he spent at our home. After his main work was completed, he gave us a quick data dump about where he was mainly concerned and his overall review of the home. When he was done, we were able to simply pay with a credit card, and I want to reiterate, that he DID NOT charge us for the pool inspection even though it was also on his contract with us. He even did inspect the heater and the pavers, but he still didn't charge us. He also indicated that we could call him afterward at any point for clarification and advice about repairing the home. The next morning, my email had a 70 page color report with full pictures available. Each of the pictures had arrows or circles to highlight the area of concern and detailed notes and advice was given under each. The report also had a shorter summary page and full tables showing where repairs were recommended. You should choose Dominic as your inspector. If we ever need an inspector again, though, I call dibs!

Inspection went very well...I was running a bit late and by the time I arrived at the property Dominic had already been on the roof inspecting it and was next inspecting the sprinkler system. Since I work as a part time realtor I would definitely refer Dominic to my future clients for their home inspection needs

Dominique's report was so thorough that the sellers came down in price $3000.00 and I now have an excellent list of items I need to correct. Dominique inspected another house for me and saved me $6000.00 Need I say more. This guy is a must if you are buying!!!

When we needed an inspector for our home purchase, he?s the only one I called. Dominic is thorough and does a great job. He will treat you professionally, and take the time to explain what he found in a way that you can understand it. His reports are fantastic, with pictures of any problem areas. I can?t think of a reason why you shouldn?t hire him. He?s great! You can trust him.

Dominic was everything we expected and more! He arrived early and was very thorough and took time to answer all of our questions and even gave us some very helpful advise for making repairs. It turns out we were under contract to purchase more of a fixer-upper than we expected, and his report helped us negotiate an extra $10,000 off the purchase price of our home. He did a great job - he was professional, he came dressed neatly in a crisp and clean uniform, yet still was willing to crawl through my attic and get covered with dust and cobwebs. He found a nail from the roof that was dripping water into my attic. He found cracked roof tiles I couldn't see ... he went into great detail. He's excellent.
