I don't know if I will be allowed to write 2 reviews and so I will combine them on this one. I have used 5 different home inspectors over the last 5 years and many more before that. What a pleasure to run across Dominic the owner of Home Pride Inspections. I will not be using another inspector or inspection service ever again. That is how satisfied I am with his expertise and demeanor. He explains all the details so well and I learned so much about the houses I will be soon buying. That in and of itself is worth the money. He has no skin in the game other than to tell it like it is. He is a true professional and does not cut corners in his inspection. His reports are timely and accurate and easy to read. This is cheap insurance for anyone buying a house. I would definitely refer him to all that are buying a house.

Dominic replied to my inquiry in a timely fashion. He scheduled the appointment, and showed up early. He did a thorough job inspecting the home, and he was very professional and easy to understand as he explained his findings. Did a great job and was very thorough. he explained everything to me and made me feel at ease. He was very clear about issues witht he property and what could be done to fix it. He was even available after we closed and I had a question on how to turn on the main water valve to the property. Always returned my calls in a timely fashion.

Dominic did a home inspection on a home we are under contract with. He was was able to fit us in to an already booked schedule. Dominic was very through in his home inspection. He found things in the house we were not expecting. He explained everything and spoke in Layman's terms for every detail. We felt very confident in his knowledge of homes. We are not sure if we are moving forward with this home, but we know we will use him again for every home inspection. We would be happy to refer him to anyone. ,Dominic arrived promptly and was very pleasant. He explained what he was going to do during his inspection. He was very detailed in his observations and even pointed out things that I will need to maintain in the near future. He went all through the house, around the house, in the attic, on the roof and checked every nook and cranny. He called me over when he wanted to show and explain something specific to me. He took pictures and provided a very detailed report with explanations and pictures. I couldn't ask for a better inspector! I would use him again in a heartbeat and would recommend him to all my relatives and all the realtors that I know. He is fantastic and well worth every penny!

The whole experience was very professional. We are from out of town, so had to perform the transaction all by phone and email. From the first phone call to the final report, all interaction was open, honest, and to the point. The report and inspection was thorough and informative.

Dominic is very thorough. He did not hesitate to remove electrical panels, the HVAC evaporator cover, crawl into attic eaves, and walk the roof to make sure that everything he can access is fully investigated. I had the opportunity to shadow Dominic during the inspection, since I was on vacation. Although experienced in residential construction, this is my first Florida home. Dominic explained everything he was inspecting, pointing out the good and bad. Where construction details differ between Florida and Ohio he called out these differences and why. Less than 24 hours after the inspection, Dominic completed his report and posted it online for viewing and download. His inspection report was 35 pages that include descriptions of styles and materials used for all the 14 major system of the house. Each section included details of what he inspected and his findings. His conclusions were backed-up with photographs marked up with red arrow and circles drawing attention to the item. The report was very well organized and indexed. Dominic is first-rate. I would highly recommend him.

Dominic performed a full (and I mean FULL) visual inspection of the readily accessible areas of a home I am thinking of purchasing. He found many positives I hadn't noticed such as shock arrestors on the Washer hookups, a security hookup and panel that was hidden, even that there was room to expand in the electrical box. He was exceedingly thorough, fully explained everything, answered all of my questions and provided a report to me online that included everything we went over, recommendations for repair/upkeep and pictures indicating any negative findings. He pointed out things I wouldn't have though of as well; pointing out that the water heater was set dangerously high, for instance. He even measured the temperature and took a picture for the report! Dominic was able to schedule the inspection of the home with a little over one day's notice and was extremely courteous and professional on the phone and throughout the whole process. I've had few experiences with service providers of any kind that I'd rate higher than my experience with Dominic. I can't recommend him highly enough!

We were really looking for someone that was going to be extremely thorough as purchasing a new home is obviously a huge investment. We were not disappointed, Dominic was everything we wanted and then some! He had both myself and my wife following him around asking questions and pointing things out that concerned us and he handled it like a pro, never once did he seem annoyed with our presence and in fact he said he enjoys it when the owners take such interest in the inspection. Some unexpected items not visible by the untrained eye were found by Dominic that allowed us to ensure the house was in good order before the purchase. Additionally Dominic spent a great amount of time explaining how we can care and maintain for certain features/items around the house. We added his pool service and our realtor, who has been in the business a long time, said that Dominic provided the best pool inspection/tutorial she had ever seen from a general home inspector. The highly detailed inspection report was delivered promptly which was essential given our time frame. Dominic was also very accessible and willing to help us with how to best handle things post report. It was great to have a trusted expert help guide us on what was a new road for us! I couldn't say enough about how much we loved our choice with Home Pride, I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Dominic was very professional from start to finish. He responded quickly to my email and was very accommodating when I had to change the date of the inspection. He was punctual and explained everything to my husband and me before he began the inspection. Along the way, he shared valuable information regarding his findings in different areas of the home. Dominic was very professional and answered a lot of questions for me and my husband. He also recamended a pest inspector and he was also very professional. Once he finished the project, he went over various inspected items that were a concern, which he followed same day with a web-based report. My wife and I were so excited we were buying our next home BUT Dominic saved us from buying a 'lemon'. I am very grateful to him in saving us from this purchase that would cost us $25k+ in hidden repairs that we could never have caught with our naked eye. Now we are back in the market house-hunting. And rest assured I will call him again as soon as we have a signed contract.

Dominic performed a thorough inspection. He uncovered water damage in the utility closet, mold in the closet and a damaged floor in the closet apparently caused by a leaking air conditioner. This information, along with other info on other defects is providing us with sufficient information to neotiate a resolution with the seller.

This home inspection was scheduled at the last minute and for 2 days after the first contact. I selected Dominic because of the reports on Angies List. He was prompt, efficient and courteous, both in the initial phone call and during the inspection.He came on time, went straight to work, was thorough and a good communicator. He promised the report for lunctime the same day and delivered the comprehensive report at that time. He offered his credentials on arrival and gave a receipt after credit card payment on line the same day.We were very pleased and would reccomend him again without reservation. Dominic was very responsive. I am in Afghanistan (8.5+ hours ahead of EST) and yet Dominic replied with a comprehensive list of services and price for his services. He even offered me separate professional inspection services for termite and wood damaging organisms. If I need home inspection services - Home Pride is my choice!
