The home inspection went really smoothly. Dominic provide a very thorough report, took time to walk me thru all the items and answer any questions I had. This was the smoothest and most pleasant home inspection I've ever had. The report that he sends listing the inspection results was outstanding. Well documented with very clear pictures and notes. I will be using this firm for all my home inspection needs from now on.

It went excellent, above and beyond our expectations. He took pictures, used a infrared equipment to see where we do and don't have insulation. He looked in attics, vents, duct work, attic in garage and all around the house. He found fiberglass insulation that was indeed coming into our home and covering every single inch. He talked with us extensively about what to do and where to go. He was amazing and even took pictures of all the problems in the attic concerning hot wires that were exposed. Which we had to have fixed right away. His report was 13 pages long and it was very professional and detailed. Again Excellent Contractor!!

Dominic was very pleasant from when we called to ask information and when he spoke with our real estate agent. He arrived and quickly got to work. He looks very professional in his attire and continued professionalism throughout his inspection of the home. He used infrared to detect moisture levels and things like that. We did not observe him the entire time, we just let him do his thing and then we sat down with him and he went through all the major systems and walked through his process and also his recommendations. We found him to be very knowledgeable on industry standard construction materials (and what is good and bad), codes and regulations, safety, and most of all he was extremely thorough. He is very detail-oriented which is what you want in an inspector. Our real estate agent was also impressed with him (she's seen a lot of inspectors!) and appreciated his professionalism as well.

This was my THIRD home inspection with Home Pride Inspections/Dominic! I'm a first-time home buyer and am now under contract on my 3rd house. Dominic did the inspections on the first two houses and helped to uncover some major red flags on both properties. It was disheartening along the way... having to cancel out of the other contracts. But in the long run I'm certain I saved myself a lot of money and heartache! And... good things come to those who wait. The inspection on this third house didn't uncover any major issues. Dominic has been a pleasure to work with. He has been responsive to phone calls and emails. He was also very patient with all of my questions and has helped me learn a lot throughout this process. I would highly recommend Dominic to anyone looking for a qualified home inspector. And I think he is especially well-suited for other first time home buyer's who don't have any idea what they are getting into with a home purchase!

We knew working with Dominic would be a great experience from the reviews on AL and he absolutely lived up to the hype. He was extremely helpful from the beginning - from scheduling, to working with the builder to provide correct forms and finally the inspection. Dominic found several key items that were missed by the builder and explained the problems to us in terms we could understand. Frankly with all of the final details of closing on the house, it was overwhelming to try to find potential defects, so having Dominic there was a great comfort. Dominic produced a very detailed report complete with photos and recommended repairs and remedies and delivered the report the same day. You shouldn't hesitate to call Dominic for your inspection needs.

I actually contacted Dominic (Home Pride Inspections) because of his stellar rating here on AngiesList. A lot of providers (even on AngiesList) can score pretty decent scores, BUT... sometimes you have to drill deeper, especially with those vendors that have a lot of reviews, to see just how many 'A' rating scores they have, because the dilluted average can sometimes contain other scores,... even 'F' and 'D' sometimes. Dominic and his company were one of the ONLY here in central Florida that actually scored straight 'A' in everything. That being said (and I don't say this lightly - as an online e-marketer by trade and also as a professional blogger by vocation),... Dominic and Home Pride Inspections DESERVE their 'A' rating. I would use him in a heartbeat if ever I were to need a home inspection again. I have even called him a few times after his inspection with semi-related questions about vendors he knows and trusts and his 'take' on some of the more esoteric issues we found, and he is very knowledgeable and thorough in our talks. He happily sets aside time to chat with me, and he always has a smile, even on the phone,... and he always takes the time to EXPLAIN THINGS - putting my priorities and concerns as a customer first. I could give you the blow by blow of how my wife and I are first time home buyers. How we decided to do every inspection under the sun to try and be SURE that this house we made an offer on was not eaten away by termites or infested with ghosts or that the roof was not put together with playdough and bailing wire or the walls made out of Chinese rat-crap. I could tell you how we were so nervous about who to call,... how we were totally fish out of water, basically not knowing ANYTHING about contractors, or walls, or electrical systems, or what the heck HVAC even stands for. I could go into the long story about how stressed we were BEFORE the home inspection. But instead, let me just tell you how great we feel now AFTER the inspection with Dominic. Why you ask? Because the house doesn't have any issues right? Wrong. In fact, the house has several issues. Issues that we are going to have to negotiate with our selling agent. Real issues. But,.... But that's not the point. You see, we (like most people) were stressed mainly because... (wait for it)... we didn't know what we didn't know. And we felt out of control because we didn't have someone we liked, trusted and felt like we could believe impartially to explain it all to us. Like why it's so important that polybutelene plumbing needs to be replaced. Or why a bathroom vent being a little rusty isn't such a big deal. Or the difference between a $50 job in replacing an A/C condensation pipe versus a $250 job that would rip us off. Or how about someone who actually explains the role of the home inspection process and what things are considered BIG RED FLARES versus little DIY home Depot jobs? Dominic is all of these things. There's really no way for me to calculate the sheer peace-of-mind that Dominic and his company brought to the table for us last Friday during our scheduled home inspection. And I could go on and on and on telling you all of the things he taught me while he took his time walking from room to room, guiding me and showing me exactly what his gear did and measured, and why it was so important to measure all of these things on the 100 point general inspection. But instead, let me just give him the highest endorsement I can... I am a picky, picky customer. I'm the guy who goes to Cheescake Factory (with their neverending menu of a million items) and orders a lightly toasted duck-cheese omelette with caramelize flower petals on top,... just cuz I was in the mood to be difference. I admit it. I'm one of those hard to please people... and I love having options. I almost never say the word 'never' or 'always'. I will NEVER use anyone but Dominic for ANY home inspection here in central Florida, and will ALWAYS recommend him to anyone I know. That's just the level of service and work ethic and attention to detail he brings with him. And if you're a home buyer out there like we were,... perhaps in the same position we were... not knowing who to turn to, who to trust... who will give you explanations and a straight answer. Who will lay it all out for you in a way you can understand and take away all of the uncertainty? If you are that person, I hope this review lets you breath a sigh of relief. Relax. The inspection was quick and professional. Results were emailed the same day.

Dominic was very professional. He came on time, inspected everything very thoroughly. Find a second leak, which we haven't discovered yet. He explained everything to me, so that I understood, what the problem is and what needs to be done. Besides that, Dominic gave me some recommendation about small things I could easily fix myself. I got the written report via email a couple hours later, including pictures. I highly can recommend Dominic if you need anything inspected on your house. I for sure will hire him again, if I need another inspection.

Dominic is the BOMB! Great service and he knows his craft. I first contacted Dominic to inspect a REO home on which I had placed a contract. Dominic was affordable, efficient, and professional. He not only inspected the home but as we went through the home he explained in understandable terminology what each issue we discovered meant and also how much that it would approximately cost to remedy. What a god send especially because I am a single woman with minimal knowledge of home building etc... In this particular home Dominic uncovered over 50K in repairs or remedies! He literally save me from a money pit! naturally based on his inspection I withdrew my offer. Without question on the next home I placed a contract I called Dominic. Once again he was affordable, efficient and professional. Dominic once again went through the home explaining to me what each issue meant and the cost to remedy. Thankfully this home was without major issues and I successfully closed on the sale in early September. Thank you Dominic for all of your knowledge. I would HIGHLY recommend Dominic if you are in need of a home inspection. He really knows his trade and will honestly inform you of issues that he discovers.

Domenick did a fantastic job. This was one of the most thorough home inspections I Have ever seen. We got a 70 page report after he was done & he went thru every part of the home. And because of him some things were found that the seller did not disclose, so he helped us avoid a $75,000 mistake. We are continuing our home search and we will definitely have him inspect the next property we make an offer on.

Dominic is FANTASTIC. He is very thorough and detailed oriented. Dominic performed 2 separate home inspections for us - one short sale (disaster house) and one traditional sale house. His report was very comprehensive. He walked us through the major items he thought were important for us to know immediately and included the smaller details in his report. Additionally, He was flexible on when he could met us. I recommended him immediately to a friend and they enjoyed working with him as well. We will continue to work with him over and over again and recommend him to family and friends.

Home Pride Inspection Service was quick to come out and very courteous during the visit. The inspection lasted several hours and was very thorough. I got the inspection report the night of the inspection; it was clear, concise, and very detailed.

I will be using this home inspector again in the future and will recommend his work. He found a discrepency in the a/c insulation which was causing condensation. We were able to point it out to the seller and he had it repaired properly before we closed on the house. That saved us so much $$ having it found before closing. I can't imagine how bad it could have been a year later.

Dominic was fantastic. I found myself with a counter-offer that only allowed a 5 day inspection period. I called Dominic on Thursday 9/5/13 and he was able to schedule my inspection for Sunday 9/8/13. He arrived promptly and did a very thorough inspection. As I followed him around he explained what he was finding along the way and answered any questions that I had. His inspection report was in my email inbox later that same day. We were able to take his report back to the seller and negotiate many repairs. I'm planning to use Dominic again for a follow-up inspection on the repaired items. He responded to my inquiry about the follow-up in a timely manner. And he let me know what he would require from the seller regarding the repairs. Without hesitation, I would recommend Dominic at Home Pride Inspection to anyone... but especially to first-time buyers who need a little extra hand-holding during the home-buying process.

This was our first home inspection ever and we believe it went as smoothly as it possibly could. It probably helps that the house is relatively new. Dominic went through the house from top to bottom as expected, but then went ahead to also provide tips and tricks to owning a home, and all the features that the house had to offer. We wouldn't have known of these features right then and there if he hadn't brought them to our attention. He made sure we knew what to do and how to manage the important features of the house. We're very grateful for this knowledge, professionalism, and care for the service that he was providing.

for the workI needed an inspection of only certain parts of our home where I had concerns about work or potential work needed. So this was not a full home inspection as would be done prior to buying a new home. Dom was very flexible in tailoring a plan and price to fir my needs. He not only met my expectations, he exceeded them. The work he did was thorough and comprehensive. Within a day or two, he sent a very professional electronic report that documented the results of his finding. The report included photos of each area and where necessary, areas of concern were highlighted with arrows or circles. Dom's service was outstanding. I'm very glad that I contracted with him for this work.

Home Pride Inspections is awesome! I called on Monday to schedule an inspection and was lucky enough to get it next day in the morning. Dominic arrived about 5 minutes early and got right to work. He was extremely helpful and knowledgable. Pointed out several problems and answered all my questions. Very thorough! The inspection was about 3 hours long and I am very sure he found everything there was to be found. Just got the report emailed to me. It is very detailed and easy to understand. Lots of pictures to go with the descriptions. Couldn't be more pleased!

I got a quote from them and the final price was absolutely on par with the quote. Dominic D'Agostino the inspector that came, was totally, totally responsive, he called me back within fifteen minutes, every time I called him. With the inspection that he did, I was able to drastically reduce our monthly mortgage payment. He was very, very professional. He emailed me the report that same night and I think he came like the next day to give the report to me. He said he would be here between ten and noon and he was here at five to ten. He provided photos and educated me everything related to home inspection. I would recommend him to anyone, I had referred him to several other people who had used him, and they gave me great feedback too.

As the other reviewers attest, the whole experience was terrific. Dominc was great to work with and was simply awesome in his puncuality and communications. He was extremely throrough and I believe he found things others in his profession would not have. His report was excellent and had clear photographs and explanations for all his findings.
