+ -1 moreCaroline went above and beyond what I paid her. It's not so much about the money for her. She just wants to do an outstanding job. Very pleased with her work. She is an artist when it comes to furniture refinishing. I would absolutely hire her again and hope to do so soon.

+ 0 moreCaroline completed 3 different projects for us and all were done promptly, professionally, reasonably priced and most importantly excellently. First she repaired a dining room chair that was a problem with the leg wiggling out of its brace. She made it firm again. Next she replaced 2 kitchen high top kitchen stools swivels and made them usable again. Finally, she re-upholstered kitchen bar stools with fabric we picked out and did a fantastic job including the piping along the seat. She is truly a craftsman at her job and we highly recommend her work.

Description of Work: This review is based on our initial experience with Ms. Furness of Doc's. |We are only judging her on her response to our inquiry about estimating the price of work that would be required to get our dining room funiture back to the condition it once was. If her actual work on the furniture is anything like her rapid response it will be a 4.0. She arrived on a Saturday gave us an estimate and came back the next day and took the furniture to her place of business. Her estimate was less than we had thought it would be. Ms. Furness does all the work herself and has for years, that's when she is not repairing her own vehicles.

+ -1 moredocs is just wonderful.? the pieces were done and delivered on time.? the work is outstanding and my furniture looks as good as it did when it was new, maybe better because I changed the finish of the wood a little.? this was at caroline's suggestion and was a great idea.? these are 3 fine pieces of furniture and I wanted a high quality job.? I was not disappointed this woman is a true artist and I hope she will work her magic on some of my other furniture as soon as she has time.? it was a pleasure to work with this wonderful woman.

Description of Work: Very courteous and prompt and she tried to see if she could repair the recliner but she determined it was beyond repair and apologized that she could not help. I would not hesitate to use them again if I needed to have something repaired.

Description of Work: Had Cane Rocking chair rewoven and refinished. Looked just like new when returned to us. Extremely satisfied.
