I attempted to get this company to come out or even call to give an estimate to remove raccoons from our attic and make repairs so they could not re-enter next year. I called three separate times over a 2 week period and left detailed messages but never received a call back. I was looking forward to working with this company due to its great review on Angie's list but their unprofessional lack of returning calls was a deal breaker. If they can't return a call for an estimate, how professional will they be about starting and completing work? Keep looking, folks.

Called Critter Control after hearing noises in the attic and behind the wall around our fireplace. Critter Control inspected the attic and found signs of some type of rodent in the attic, likely a squirrel since it was nesting season. They sealed off all access points leaving only the chimney open with a trap that would permit exit but not reentry. After two weeks we no longer heard noises in the attic so Critter Control removed the trap, sealed off the chimney, made one last inspection, and considered the job complete. They believed that if a squirrel was trapped and had died we would have smelled it by then. Approximately two weeks later we noticed a horrible smell coming from the fireplace. I removed a section of drywall behind the fireplace only to find a dead adult squirrel and 3 babies in a nest. I believe Critter Control did everything they could have done.

It went fine. Company is dependable. A few years ago I hired them and they placed bait stations around my property and come to inspect quarterly. Called when I saw possible nest in soffit. They came immediately and over a period of about 2 weeks, checking and trapping and also filling up holes on roof. Price is high but service level is professional. I don't know what other companies would charge for this. My only concern is that they do seem pricey.

They went the extra mile. The cost was very reasonable, especially for the work that they put into it. It was an effective fix to my situation.

They came right out for the appointment. He was up front and he told me that he did not think that we had a problem so he did not want to take my money. I was freaked out so I asked him to do the treatment anyway, despite him not thinking that it was necessary and wanting to waste my money. I would call them back out in the future.

They are very good in their field. They are very friendly and they are very good at letting me know what was going on. They let me know what they were doing at every step of the way.

A technician came out, assessed the house with my husband, and gave us an estimate. We were leaving for vacation for a week, so he said he'd wait to seal the house, but would put traps outside and check them every other day while we were gone. We returned & found he had only come out once and we had a fossilized dead rat in a trap in our yard that had been there for days. Called Critter Control and was told that technician had quit and they didn't have the paperwork. After giving us the runaround for almost a week (saying he'd call the next day & come out, then not calling, etc., including one day when he lied & insisted he called even though our caller ID said otherwise), Corey finally came to our house. He removed the trap with the dead rat in it, offered to refund us $119.85 because they failed to do what they promised (come every other day to check the traps), and said someone would be out to seal the house. The guys came out, but they did such a bad job that they had to come back a week later because the grate they put up was falling down. During this entire time, Corey kept saying he'd process the $119.85 refund he had promised. Finally, after 6 weeks of being lied to by him and a woman in the office who kept promising to look into the refund and call me back only to forget who I was each time I called, I disputed the charge with my credit card company. This company charges a lot of money for terrible customer service. It is poorly run, the employees don't communicate with each other, and they lie to their customers as a regular business practice. No one apologized for the inconvenience, instead they acted as if it was an inconvenience for them to do their jobs.

Although the treatments were successful, I feel perhaps this guy went in to "over kill" mode for the single rat that we had encountered. I suppose in the long run the roof sealing is a good preventative measure, we were not expecting such a hefty bill when we called. The work was done well and thoroughly and it did solve the problem and will avoid a re-occurrence.

Critter Control came out on the fourth of July weekend at four am to put the traps out. He had then caught one by the next day when he came to check. It took about a week for them to catch and remove the raccoons. The service was a little pricey as they charge the flat rate plus an amount per raccoon. They did a wonderful job, though.

VERY GOOD RESPONSE, VERY CAPABLE. WE WERE GIVEN VARIOUS OPTIONS. A DOOR CARD WAS LEFT EACH TIME TRAPS WERE CHECKED. PROBLEM OF SQUIRRELS IN OUR CRAWLSPACE WAS RESOLVED WITHIN SEVERAL DAYS. SERVICE IS VERY EXPENSIVE BUT IN LINE WITH OTHER ANIMAL REMOVAL COMPANIES WE CHECKED.

Mike Kirkpatrick, the technician, was very polite and provided requested information. The trap was only left here for about 10 days total but since they don't trap on the weekend, the trap was closed for five days (there was a Monday on which they failed to open the trap). We were not successful in trapping the armadillo. I think the price was high considering the service I got. Mike said there was a 30 day period from the last date of service within which I could call to have another trap put in, but that is not reflected in the paperwork.
