Work was not performed.
Description of Work: Needed tile work done on a place I'm renting; I have used Altamonte Tile and Carpet before and was very satisfied with their work. The landlord changed her mind about having the work done. The staff was very courteous, prompt and professional; so many vendors won't even both with smaller jobs.

It didn't.
Description of Work: This man who says he's the owner is dishonest,unprofessional, and totally unqualified. He stated I had to buy a 2 piece toilet or else his guy couldn't install it. When I went to The Home Depot and talked with an associate there, he laughed and said, "This guy is a joke, because one piece toilets are easier to install than 2 piece ones". HE told me right away that obviously this guy doesn't know what he's doing. and I knew right then my signing a contract with him was a BIG MISTAKE.. He can sell you a job but that's it. He's just a salesman who knows nothing about remodeling, plumbing, or customer service. He not licensed, bonded, or insured, and called me a dog and an old hag. Nice professionalism!!! Don''t hire him when there are so many others who treat customers with respect and know what they're doing.

Dear [Member Name Removed] People need to understand slow and done right the first time than to be fast and not come out the best....You had tile ripup and a 12x24 tile very difficult to install and a shower remodel.And I managed to get your carpet in just in time for your family coming to visit.All in all it was a great job...Thanks for treating my installers with great respect.What they do is a hard life on your back and knees. Description of Work: Purchased laminate flooring with Angie's list discount in 2013, but could not afford installation till Sept 2014. Robert Mello was gracious and patient and did not charge for storage. Once scheduled, installation was completed on time and the floor looks great. I would highly recommend Altamonte Tile & Carpet.

I stored your product for over a year and did not charge a storage fee, which you mentioned.But the day of installation we discussed you would move the furniture,when we got there hardly anything was move.That should have been an additional $ 300.00 which i did not charge you for.Punctuality you wrote a B. I sent you a docusign that clearly states that on the first of installation we would be there between 8-12.We were there by 10:30.As far as the 5 min repair we had to do we had to wait for another box before doing .Once it got here,next day we were out for the repair.Which took all of about 30 m because we had to move some furniture.With all of that being said I feel that I and my guys are deserving of an A in all categories.I am sure that when you read my response you will agree and change the review. Description of Work: Took out old flooring and installed new tile throughout the entire downstairs of my home. Robert and his crew were professional and courteous. Robert worked with my husband and I from the moment we entered his establishment and answered all of our questions and never pressured us on anything. They came when scheduled and every person who came into our home was kind and courteous. This was a pleasant experience and one long overdue - it had been many years in the making. We can't wait to go back and have other projects started.

But you were a delight to work with,which made the whole process run better.If I could get my customers to understand that whatever they project into the process reflects on the outcome of the whole job.whatever came up that was unexpected,was not the end of the world,but rather a challenge for a solution.you and i worked it out and you realizing that unforseen stuff comes up and to get it to a point of satisfaction is a cost that you and i worked out that was fair for you and my workers.Some how people think that unforseen prep work is free or that it is included.you never made my guys feel they worked for free..you were very kind to them,which made them feel very comfortable in your home.That is why your complete remodel turned out incredible looking.if you could post pics on angie's list for all to see how beautiful of a job we do> thanks robert

Dear [removed members name] Let's start from the beginning.When you purchased the coupon i stated that there were 4 angie's list customers that purchased before you.And that i take them in order of the purchased coupon.I told you it would be 3-4 weeks before we would start.Now if you remember when we started your health was not the best and you were in the middle of serious therapy.So we agreed to work around your health.However i cannot ask my installers to not do other work in between your not so good health days,They have families,house payments,food etc.Normally when we start a job we stay on that job until it is complete.But in your case it was different because of the health issues you were having.As a matter of fact there were some things in the contract that you were suppose to purchase,such as a new glass door,that you asked my installer to go to home depot and pick one out have him pay for it and that you would re-reimburse him,because you could not make it.Now you did pay him,but no compensation for his time and gas.I think this is an unfair review and i wish you would re think this response and write a new one that reflects us in a better light.But it is your call. Description of Work: They were very helpful in picking out the wood we wanted. they allowed us to bring samples home to compare to the cabinetry. The installation crew was quiet and hard working. They also installed all new trim in our house and did a good job. We were very satisfied with this company.

Description of Work: After talking to several companies I decided to go with Robert. He always returns calls and takes a sincere interest in making sure his customers are satisfied. We agreed upon a price and signed an agreement on Monday and the job was finished that Friday. The shoe molding was all mitered and everything cleaned and hauled away. I had a service issued which he dealt with and made sure I was happy with his service. If you want personal service and professional installation I would recommend Tile & Carpet Of Altamonte Springs.

Two of the edges were ragged so they had to put a vinyl strip on each side, which is what took so long. It took them forever to get everything right and the job finished. They were very pleasant over the phone.
