+ -1 moreWe would recommend R & M Construction to do work for us any time. The porch they built turned out so nicely, our neighbors are now wanting one like it. Since Robert does most of the work himself, he can do the job for less. However, that does not mean the work is not as good. He does excellent work ! He is conscientious about materials he uses and is adaptable to any changes we requested. The county inspectors approved of his work right off and he didn't have to do anything over to suit them. All in all,we give him an A+ We LOVE our porch !!! It adds so much to the enjoyment of being outdoors in Florida. It makes the house look nicer too.
Description of Work: We had a screened-in porch constructed on the back of our house.. R & M Construction had the best estimate of the ones submitted. The work was started on schedule and finished on time. A hip roof was put on with insulation. Drywall was used for the ceiling and plastered over. Ceiling fans were installed and electric outlets on each post. He installed halogen lights under the railing going around the perimeter of the porch. This was improvised by Robert and he did an excellent job. He is a good electrician. He also constructed steps on each side of the porch with railings. Lattice was installed around the base of the porch with screening behind to keep bugs from coming into the inside of the porch. All parts of the construction were done by Robert except for the screen enclosure and the drywall installation of the ceiling. The companies he subcontracted did very good work, too.
