They make sure everything is aligned correctly and it has enough Freon. Summer is hot here. They do a good job. They make sure everything's done.

It's a brand new system from the inside to the outside.

Very impressed with their professionalism. Dave gave us the best estimate for a system that was better than other estimates. For example, one firm quoted $6 thousand plus for a system rated 14 SEER whereas Dave installed a premium brand (Trane) system rated at 15 SEER for the price noted above. Dave and his helper showed up on the date and time we agreed upon and were done within 6 hours. Dave then explained how the thermostat (high end-programmable) works and walked me through the system. They left the garage and premises cleaner than they found them. Very impressive. I recommend this company very strongly.

From the initial visit to look at everything and provide a quote, David was friendly and professional. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Work was done professionally. Would highly recommend to anyone in the Gainesville/Alachua County area.

A/C fan motor failed. It was under warranty. The only replacement was in Ocala. David drove there from NE Alachua County, picked up the new motor and came back and had it installed and the A/C up and running by 3 PM just as ther heat was becoming an issue for my bedridden family member.

Dave was absolutely terrific! Very professional, very knowledgeable and courteous--a nice guy! He arrived within minutes of the scheduled time. I called for an appointment and they were able to schedule me within 24 hours. The problem needing to be addressed turned out to not be a problem with my 20+ year old heating/AC system. He explained how an older system like mine can potentially have intermittent issues, but did not pressure at all to replace or do unnecessary maintenance. Dave thoroughly assessed the system, added freon as needed. He explained everything he was doing and why. Helped me to understand the system at a level that was helpful to recognize real signs of problems. I could not have been more pleased. Honestly, I was dreading this since my last experience with an AC/Heating Co. several years ago was a bit aversive, particularly as the fix was not very complex but they were pushing unnecessarily to replace the entire system. I will absolutely call Precision Tech next time I need AC/heating service. I felt Dave was very host and trustworthy. Spread the word about this guy and his company! You will not be disappointed....

I have had exasperating problems nearly every season with either the A/C or the heat. The A/C's been replaced, and last year the thermostat. Now, the first cold day and the heat doesn't work again! I selected Precision Tech based on their ratings and the review comments on Angie's List, and couldn't be happier. They were efficient and courteous on the phone, on time at the house, and the man who came, Dave, was the nicest, most professional and thorough gentleman you could hope to have show up for any service call. Not only did he fix our heater, which was relatively easy, he assessed the entire situation and provided good information about what I'm looking at in the future on my 20-year-old heater, and how to find the diagnostic signal on the system if I run into problems again before I decide to replace it. You won't be sorry!

I am very pleased with the product and services provided by Precision Tech. I received estimates on replacing my old Trane HVAC unit from 3 companies listed on Angie's List. I selected Precision Tech based on the product and bid process. I worked with David, who was very knowledgeable, polite, and professional. David explained everything very thoroughly; answered my questions on the various products available, and, at my request, gave me the pros and cons of the various units appropriate for my home. He never disparaged any of the other businesses or products - something of a rarity with businesses today. I researched the information given to me by all 3 bidders and found David's information to be spot on. I selected a Carrier unit which Precision Tech sells and installs. Precision Tech's price was very competitive and the installation was done very well and ahead of schedule. The work was done carefully and neatly. David came out to complete a second part of the project that I was not ready to do initially and did an excellent job on that also. The difference in the air quality and humidity was amazing. We were able to set our temperature 4 degrees higher while feeling as cool as before and more comfortable due to less humidity. As for my electric bill, although I only had the new Carrier unit for half of my August billing period, my kilowatt usage went down appreciably over the same period from a year ago. I would hardily recommend them to others who have heating and air conditioning product and/or service needs. They were a pleasure to do business with.

A little over a year ago, our air conditioner went out. We called Precision Tech on a Sunday and they arrived within a couple of hours, recharged the compressor, said it had a leak and it might last a week or a year but it needed replacing. A year later, it stopped again, late Friday afternoon. Precision Tech arrived a hour later, got it gooing again temporarily, gave us an estimate to replace the system, and scheduled the service. They showed up exactly on time, replaced the entire system in less than a day, cleaned up perfectly, explained the new system, charged exactly what they had estimated, and left. It was a perfect experience and I will call on Precision Tech whenever we have a heating or AC problem. I can't praise them too highly.

Precision was great! I will use them for any future AC needs. The price was fair (I called around to check). The ownder (David Bowe) does the diagnosis himself. He is extremely knowledgeable and explains the issue clearly. David checked the entire system, identified the problem, showed me the problem (leaking evaporator coil), ordered the part, installed the part, and the AC system is working perfectly. Comfort Temp placed a sticker on my AC unit when they installed the unit for the home builder in 2007. The sticker states that work must be performed by Comfort Temp for the warranty to be valid. Because of the sticker, I called Comfort Temp a year ago. They sent a tech to perform the diagnosis. He said it was low on freon. I asked if low freon suggested a leak. He checked quickly for a leak and told me that I did not have one. He explained how freon can escape when the system is originally installed. He put freon in the system and called it a day. Freon is about $90 a pound. The AC was cold for a while, but after a while it leaked because he neglected to fix the actual problem. I called the AC manufacturer to ask if I could use a different company to work on the unit this time. They informed me that I never had to use Comfort Temp in the first place. When I read the reviews on Agie's List about Comfort Temp, I found they commonly fill freon or sell a brand new AC unit. This makes me wonder if they avoid fixing AC units. I believe i was decieved by Comfort Temp.

They were great! My really old A/C has new life and hopefully will make it another year. They were very professional and recommended replacing my 22 year old unit but didn't push when we weren't able to do it this year. If it does quit for good, we'd call them back to replace it with no hesitation. They called the morning of the appointment to give us an idea when they'd arrive -- it was within 15 minutes of our appointment time. They also checked in again when they were leaving previous job to let us know they were in route.

We had a great experience with Precision Tech. They were very prompt in coming out to give us a quote. They offered several price levels for new systems and did not engage in any high pressure sales tactics. There were numerous problems with the previous system due to a shoddy installation. Precision Tech fully explained all of the issues and how they would address each one. They installed the new system on a Saturday, and even showed up a little early! Throughout the day, the installers (Dave and DJ) were exceedingly professional, taking time to explain what they were doing whenever we looked over their shoulders. In the end, we got a more efficient system beautifully installed for an affordable price. We would not hesitate to use their services again and highly recommend them to others.

David gave me the best price for a new Carrier AC/Heating system. He replaced everything except the duct work, which he felt did not need to be replaced. He spent several hours going over details of the different systems, models, and, after listening to my goals for a new system and what i could afford, he helped me make a well-informed decision. The other companies I interviewed were not as patient with my questions. At no time did i feel taken advantage of in any way. He was punctual, professional, and extremely nice...my dogs even liked him! He gave the unit the first year service recently and made sure i did not have any questions about the "high-tech" thermostat, and was very pleased that i am very happy with my decision to go with his company. He and his wife were very helpful, and are sincere about wanting to provide quality products and service. He was very responsive early on after the installation, when i called with questions about programing the thermostat.

I chose this company because of its high ratings and reviews on Angie's List, and they lived up to that reputation completely. On the phone and in person, everyone was pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. They provided a very competitive 3-tier estimate based on my stated goals, with no sales pressure. They worked efficiently, with obvious pride in their work, but were never too busy to answer questions from a curious homeowner.

It has cut my electric bill in half for me. The guy was nice, knowledgeable, quick and fair with his prices. He is definitely good.

After I explained the duct work repairs I needed they told me they wanted to charge me to do an estimate.

Dave came out to do the estimate and told use it would take three days. And it was completed as promised. Dave and his crew were very professional, were on time every day called when they were in route, removed all the debris at the end of the job. I was very impressed with Dave's knowledge of the product and his ability to walk use through the training of the system.

I had 4 other estimates and I did my own research on different products before I call any AC companies. The Carrier system was slightly move expensive, but it made sense to me to bank on the reputation of Carrier...my goal was to get the best, most energy efficient system I could afford; a system whose technology would carry me for years to come...also to go with the company that I felt would provide the very best service with both installation and the after-care. Dave Rowe and DJ were incredible...they were at my home exactly when they said they would be, which is highly unusual these days. They were prepared, professional, pleasant, efficient, and really cared about doing a top-notch job. AND, they left the work area cleaner than they found it !!!!!!!!! A co-worker who hired Precision Tech for an AC/Heating replacement referred me to them because he was so impressed with the quality of the work and the honesty and professionalism their team exhibited. Cindy mans the office, and she is sharp, knowledgable, and efficient. I just finished a renovation project on my 40-year-old home, and boy, I can tell you that workmanship and professionalism and honesty are almost non-existant anymore. Not so with Precision Tech. If you are looking for quality of workmanship, integrity, and product, then you will not be disappointed with Precision Tech.....they gave me old-fashioned great service.

He happens to be local to us and he's been wonderful. It's just a husband and wife team so they are not a huge company but they get top notch in professionalism. He came out last December and repaired our unit because we weren't getting enough heat. That was our first experience and he did a great job so I called him back to have this service done in April. It was just maintenance and to look over stuff to make sure that we didn't need to replace anything. He was very timely, punctual and showed up on time. I picked him up because of their good grades on Angie's List, I couldn't tell from Angie's List where he was coming from. He just did excellent work and we were very pleased with him.

He was wonderful. He arrived just when he said he would and he was very professional. He fixed the problem and put the unit almost completely back together. He told me that my heat strip was not working. They had a breaker for the heat strip and he replaced it. Everything worked fine. He was punctual, efficient and he explained exactly what was going on. He listened to what I said. He did the job and then explained to me about the breaker for the heat strip. He didn’t pressure me to do it, but explained to me what would happen. The price was very reasonable and he was very quick. I have recommended him to others.
