About us

We are an underground utility locating & engineering company. We locate all types of private utilities such as water, sewer, electric, communications, and even gas lines that feed private generators. If you have a project coming up that requires you to dig, you may be familiar with having to call "811". 811 alerts all utility companies to mark underground utilities, but they will only mark what they own. You have utilities such as electricity that, if the utility is damaged, as the homeowner you will be responsible to repair the damaged utility, and not the utility company. Apex has over 11 years in our industry with every type of utility under the sun. We are proficient with every type of equipment that is available to locate even the most difficult of utilities. The owner, Devan Edwards, is a second-generation underground utility engineer. He helped his father run his locating business in the Northeastern United States and has since spread his outreach to the Sunshine State. What makes Apex unique, is we offer both the availability to find your underground utilities, but also the option to receive a print of the generality of where the utilities run on the property for future endeavors. Our mission as a underground utility locating firm is to build long-term relationships with our customers through accuracy, availability, knowledge, and honesty.
