Pete answered initial call and called back to arrange schedule for free estimate. Arrived on time, friendly, professional, down to earth. Looked at the initial problem and said he could do both the plumbing and the drywall himself. He didn't mind looking at the other drywall issues. Gave a quote for the work, which was very reasonable. Work was scheduled to take place over the course of several days, since drywall repairs need to dry and be sanded, etc. All work was done within a week's time. Quality work! Before leaving each time, he'd specify when he would be back - - and the one time he ran late for an emergency plumbing issue, he called and let us know of the delay. Very considerate, great work, ceiling and walls look brand new! And no more leaky pipe above the ceiling. For these kind of home repairs, we highly recommend Pete.

Pete was very professional and knowledgeable. Punctual and completed job within a reasonable amount of time. Cleaned up after himself when the job was completed. Will call again when more work is needed.

Pete was great from start to finish. He promptly replied to my initial call to let me know he could do the work requested and told me he would contact me the next day (Saturday) to schedule the job. He followed up as promised, we set a day and time ( not a four-hour window), and he showed up on the dot. He re-routed wiring for our new dishwasher and even connected to the appliance's circuit box. He then replaced the valve on the hot water line to the kitchen sink and did an outstanding job. We initially thought the valve was broken because we were not getting any hot water but it turns out the problem was with the faucet. Pete tried to troubleshoot and repair but we ended up having to replace it. I called Pete the next day to schedule him to install the new faucet and he was able to come that same afternoon. Again, the job was done quickly and professionally. I felt his fee was very reasonable, considering most plumbers and electricians now charge just to come to your house. Why pay for that "privilege" when you can have Pete do the job just as well for a lot less money? I highly recommend Top Notch for your minor electrical and plumbing needs.

Contractor arrived on time, but I received a very unfriendly greeting. Contractor looked at the cabinet and informed me it could not be cut and proceeded to lecture me in a condescending tone about the cabinet and the new flooring to be installed. After lecturing me, he walked out. He was very rude. Would never recommend this contractor to anyone.

Pete did two jobs for us separated by a couple of days when he accepted an additional job I brought up. That job involved installing a battery powered backup sump pump. He worked diligently on that job but at the end he found that the battery he had bought at Home Depot was probably defective and he returned the next day with a replacement battery he went out of his way to find.is a great relief since the leak had gone throughI'm out to resolve was that of a toilet leaking from the bottom of the toilet at the wax/flange interface. This leak had been worked on originally by me (still leaked), by a reputable plumbing service (still leaked) and finally by Pete. He diagnosed the problem quickly and showed me the physical rationale for why the leak kept happening despite correctly adding a double wax ring to the toilet. He corrected the physical misalignment of the toilet (THE CAUSE) and the toilet hasn't leaked since. This is a relief, since the previous leaks had gone though our living room ceiling, requiring patching and painting. At all times Pete was professional, courteous and helpful in explaining what he found and what could be done. He is a company of one and he stands behind his work.

Pete arrived on time and worked extremely hard during the 3 hours he was at our house. His work and professionalim was superior.

Pete did terrific work, he was kind enough to accomodate us even though out of his typical service area. He installed 4 outdoor light fixtures, fixed a running toilet, installed a new shower head and replaced a valve in our outdoor spicket. Price was on target for the work and time it took him to complete it.

Pete arrived on time and assessed both jobs. He tackled the garbage disposal first. I had already purchased a new garbage disposal, and it was designed to be plugged in. He offered me the option of rewiring the garbage disposal to hardwire, or to install an outlet under the sink. I chose to hardwire the garbage disposal like the old one had been. For the shower, I had already bought what I thought was a new kit (showerhead, controls, faucet) on eBay. It wasn't the right thing though. Pete asked me to go on one of the big box home center's website and pick out what I wanted. We checked to make sure it was in stock. He went to the store and bought everything he needed for the job, came back and installed everything. He made recommendations to me about caulking around the top of the faucet cover only, which I didn't know. Pete is professional and friendly. I felt very confident in his abilities. I thought the cost was very reasonable. I will definitely call Pete for my next plumbing or electrical job!

Pete is highly analytical and creative in his approach. He is also patient and goes about the work with a wonderful sense of humor! I was very pleased with the work.

We would highly highly recommend Pete! He is a true professional and is so good and so honest. Pete always answer the phone and he WILL call you back when he says he will...such a rarity nowadays. Pete is awesome! He fixed the master bathroom toilet seal, changed the shower head in both bathrooms. He also purchased and changed 3 sets of locks for us. We had some water leaking into the basement through the cracks in the seal around the pipes; Pete caulked it for us but recommended that we change how the water is being channeled from the gutters right above it. It rained last week and because we listened to Pete, the water is no longer seeping through the cracks! Pete is very professional and offer little tips to help us around the house. I will definitely recommend him to friends and family and use his services again!

Pete was great to work with. He answered the phone personally, and was at my house 2 hours later. At every step in the process, Pete filled me in on what he was doing, what he was looking for, and what the potential outcomes were. He quickly diagnosed the leak and had the repair finished all in one afternoon. And, best of all, his price was incredible. He stayed well within his estimated budget, and even came in lower than expected. This is the second time I've worked with Pete and he will be my first call for any future plumbing issues.

Did not want to discuss how he reached the price for a small job and got very upset for no good reason. He told me that he had customers lined up and he was not very polite. Gave me the feeling that he does not need more work. I found his prices very high and even higher than big companies.

Pete returned my phone call within minutes, and then showed up at the dot of 9 am. Awesome! He was very thorough and knowledgeable, and offered several explanations for my problem with my hot water heater. He was also very honest. He pointed out that my heater was very old and showed bad signs of corrosion. I should really think about whether I wanted to invest any more money into it at this stage. So instead of just taking my money and executing a repair on a boiler that might not last for very much longer, he recommended I contact a licensed plumber for this job to get an expert opinion. He didn't charge me anything for half an hour of his valuable time. I really appreciate that. Thank you very much for your time, Pete, I will make sure to hire you for the next job.

They were efficient and he replaced all the electrical. We bought a house and it’s an older house built in the early 1960s so it didn’t have 3 plugs, so we have all the outlets replaced in the house so that’s what he did and he did a good job.
