Description of Work: Pete purchased and installed 4 fluorescent double tube light fixtures (cost of the fixtures was $30 each) in our basement, took out the old ones, took out a leaky malfunctioning toilet installed a new toilet we had purchased, and rinsed out our hot water heater. Pete was very knowledgeable and informative sharing with us information about how to save money with LED bulbs, which ones to buy and also gave us excellent guidance on how to choose an inexpensive high quality toilet. He dissuaded us from doing extra electric work another contractor had told us to do because he thought it was a waste of money. We are very happy with his services and will use him again.

Description of Work: Pipe was leaking behind drywall in ceiling. Drywall had to be cut away and repair was made. Locating the source of the leak was tricky but Pete found it within a short time. He was on time, very knowledgable, works quickly and very reasonably priced. Would use him again and have already recommend him to three people.

Description of Work: He installed a new toilet, replaced the galvanized piping with pcv piping, insulated my attic, and brought my attic up to code by installing new outlets and running wire to the fuse box.

+ -1 morePete called back immediately when I left my first message for a quote, he came over within a half hour and he didn't say "no" to any job no matter how large or small. His work was excellent, he was completely trustworthy, and his prices very reasonable. As he jokingly said, he's on time and sober (and with handymen, that is more than half the battle).
Description of Work: Drywall repair, window molding replacement, electric outlets, rehung doors, replaced locks and doorknobs, built deck step, repaired vinyl siding, re-grouting & replacing ceramic tile, installed lighting fixture, etc., to prepare home for sale.
