I spent about $450 on the job. He was very knowledgeable and quality driven, which I liked. However, he was very slow. I might use him again in the future.

We've had him come here many times and we’ve had him do a lot of work for us. He does not cut corners and he goes out of his way to do things. You get the feeling that he really takes pride in doing a good job and doing it right. I’ve never had any complaints about any of the work and I’ve never had to call him back to fix anything. I’ve always been very satisfied with his work. He charges by the hour instead of pre job; so it’s usually cheaper. I really appreciate that. He’s done a lot of work for us; he’s installed a fireplace, a mantel and surround, a hot water heater and a ton of other stuffs. He is a general handyman contractor. I’m going to have him come out and do more stuff for us. He’s going to put in a railing on the front porch.

He needed me to get in the shower with a swim suit on while he was downstairs in order for the shower to run with someone in it. I was very uncomfortable. I did not like this. I also did not like that he did not clean up after himself.

When I called and said I found his name on "Angie's List," he responded like he was almost sick of people calling him from Angie's List. He came to give me an estimate - got lost, but otherwise on time. Did not want to install a new front door for me. Looked at several other jobs I had including fixing pealing joint tape on ceiling and cracked tile on floors in an addition built on my house in 2007. Said he wouldn't do the work and that I needed a structural engineer. Not only was this guy very conceited about his abilities and knowledge, but I didn't think he really wanted to be bothered doing the more "difficult" jobs that I had. PS: I paid for an engineer who said there was nothing structurally wrong with the addition on my house.

He did a good job. I had a sink that dropped lower than my original sink. I had a countertop installed which meant that he had to reroute the plumbing. He did do that but in the process of rerouting the plumbing I had to have a new garbage disposal system installed. He went out and purchased it and included that in the price. That was pretty good. He did some plumbing and installed the garbage disposal system. He seemed to be a very personable and easy to communicate individual. He was very concerned about us understanding what he was actually going to do. He didn't take too long to come out.

Pete returned my call promptly (within a couple hours), and scheduled a visit within a couple days. He arrived at my home promptly, and went to work. He wasn't able to resolve the a/c issue (but referred me to a good HVAC contractor), and quickly resolved the garage door issue. He also handled 6 or 12 things on my "minor" list. He was at my home for a bit over 2 hours, and only charged $100 (it was worth a lot more to me). I will definitely use Pete again. He is very knowledgeable, versatile, and is a real good listener (not a common quality in men, especially those good at fixing things).

Although no service was provided, a representative from Top Notch has contacted me directly/promptly to advise me of their answer (I had requested estimates on a couple types of home improvement/remodeling, that they were unable to provide). They did however make very good recommendations that I pursued and am happy with. These folks definitely seem customer orientated, and are courteous and professional enough for me to want to try them again later at some point.

Pete arrived right on time all three days he was at my house. He assessed the jobs and got right to work. He came well supplied and even went to the store right away to pick up things I needed but didn't have. Pete is very personable and enjoys chatting and giving helpful tips - if you enjoy a lot of contact and conversation with your service providers, he's definitely your guy. He got the jobs done, solved problems, and did it all fairly quickly and at a fair price. No complaints.

The day Pete came he was prompt, professional, friendly and started immediately . He was here for one full day and part of a second to complete the job. Everything he did was done like an expert and I would recommend Pete to anyone who needs a handyman.

He is awesome and terrific. He is a pleasure to work with. He is professional, and he is punctual. He is very efficient, and finished the work in two days. He is very reasonable. I would use him again without any doubt.

He is great. He cleaned up after himself. He thought about a different way to approach the problem which saved me money. He was just quick.

This IS the handyman you have been waiting for! Finally, someone who comes out to see a job AND starts working immediately. I am so tired of waiting for weeks for a contractor to come out to "give an estimate" and then have him leaf through his calendar to find a date weeks in the future to perform the job. I had e-mailed Pete my list of jobs beforehand so he knew what to expect. He is punctual, pleasant, cleans up and charges an hourly rate. We hope he will become a long term addition to the people we have working with us on our historic home :-)

Low water pressure in shower Pete troubleshooted the problem and explained everything in detail and we decided the best solution was to replace the valve. He did it in a timely manner and I would highly reccomend him again.

Job outside of this contractor's expertise.

He is a very knowledgeable man who comes in and gets right to work. He knows what he is doing and he is a very comfortable gentleman to have in your home. I've found that that is not always the case with people working in your home. I would highly recommend him and hope that he will return to do futher work for me.

Pete arrived, looked over the problem- a broken knob on a faucet- where the bolt had broken off inside the wall. He told me the best and worst case scenario and proceeded to fix it. It turned out to be a "middle of the road" problem- not easy, but not as bad as worst case. He went out and purchased the parts, came back, and finished up the job.

I got in touch with Pete Lindbergh. He was a good person and his prices were not too high. He was professional and it was a perfectly fine meeting. However, I did not have any work done by him because I found someone else who was cheaper.

Pete did a great job. He arrived on time disgnosed the job and was able to rebuild the mixing valve saving my having to open up a wall. He additionally took the time to look at and discuss the pros and cons of installing 2 inline shut off valves. Although it was not on the original request Pete took the time to get the right parts and do the additional work. Good guy who did a good job at a very reasonable price. I would certainly use him again.

They are very friendly and incredibly helpful. They have been doing alot of jobs for us over the years. They are very intelligent and effective in the way that they look at problems and solving those problems.

He was very good at what he did, but he took a long time. He was personable and next time I wouldn't just be home that we probably would talk with. His price was fair. I would use him again.

He did a great job. They were prompt, they were efficient, and his prices were reasonable compared to another handyman service that I looked into. It would have cost me probably triple what I would have spent. He cleans up after himself. There was no muss no fuss. He was open to input.

We had a leaky sink and a poorly running garbage disposal. Pete came out the day after I called him and fixed the pipes well enough to get us through our son's birthday party. He returned 2 days later and did the entire job. He was clean and efficient, and we are thrilled with the results. We love our new sink. We will definitely be using Pete again!

The job was done fantastically. Pete is extremely qualified and very professional. We couldn't have been more pleased. We will definitely use Top Notch Home Improvement in the future.

Called immediately. Came om time. Could not open the drain but charged minimal fee for 5 hours of work and gave me a recomendation for someone who could probably get the drain open. Would not hesitate to use again. A++ service

The job went very well from beginning to end. Peter came to the house to do an estimate and presented himself in a professional and knowledgeable manner as he explained the different options in rerouting to pipes to make sure they didn't freeze he pointed out another issue that others had not picked up by changing out an exterior faucet so that wouldn't become a problem later. It was a very common sense answer, yet the others didn't advise me about it in the beginning. Peter explained that he would take longer to complete the job since he worked alone, but that he would do the quality job I was looking for. I had seen and heard from others that he did good work and that he was very trust worthy. Not only did he live up to his word, but he did an incredible job. Peter cleaned up every day before leaving, and consulted me if there were any questions (instead of just second guessing which others have done before) and did a first-rate, excellent job! He did take longer to do the work, but it was VERY much worth it. I would use him again in a heart-beat. Only one thing - make sure you have the coffee flowing!
