Description of Work: They did so much to help us get our house in shape. New backsplash in the kitchen, under counter kitchen lighting, replaced kitchen and bathroom electrical plugs and switches with GFI, painted all interior doors, painted outside front door and trim, replaced all outdoor lighting, replaced back storm door and so much more. They were wonderful to work with.

Description of Work: They sealed a basement room for me that had been carpeted. There was an issue with glue on the floor (from a rug which I had removed) that made the job much more involved than originally anticipated. They went the extra mile and ensured everything was done correctly, and did not charge me extra (they even had to rent a special machine to get the glue up, which they hadn't planned on) but, it took longer and more back and forth visits than originally planned.

Description of Work: The Repair squad replaced 2 windows and frames in our garage and repaired some trim on our front porch. Their bid was the most reasonable and it included windows to match the existing windows on our house. The window repair went smoothly. The trim repair turned out to be more complicated than expected because of a downspout and drain that was very close to the trim. They redid it, and included modifications to the downspout and drain, without an extra fee. Now it looks great! Repairs to our 40 year old home are rarely straightforward. The Repair Squad worked with us and stayed within budget, and we are really pleased with the outcome.

Also needed a PVC handrail to my back steps,they give me an estimate of $669.00 for only 1 handrail 6feet long,using only a few pieces of PVC pipe, you might think they are using 14kg handrail for that price. complete ripoff!!!

They kept the workspace clean and were pleasant to have in the house. The work on the barn was weather dependent, so after making sure they wouldn't let the animals out, they came and went as allowed by weather. Everything went well.
Description of Work: He installed two tube skylights, worked on a vent in the attic and replaced bad wood on a barn. He also repaired and hung a sliding barn door.

Wayne and his crew did a tremendous amount of work at our home including: new roof painting most of the inside of the house outside painting of trim and shutters bay window repair custom wainscoting of the front foyer, upstairs foyer, stairwell to second level and stairwell to basement interior trim work including custom work around door and in display niche new front door and storm door gutter repair drywall repair many of the small jobs I had been putting off (e.g., new doorbell, deck repair, outside spicket, dryer vent) Wayne is professional, friendly, fair, honest, flexible, trustworthy and shows up when expected ? I?m already planning the next jobs I want Wayne to do (new French doors to the deck and a new Kitchen Island).

She picked it all out for us which was great because I can be easily overwhelmed!! Wayne came to measure and 2 weeks later George was here to install the new door. It fit perfectly and George installed it within a few hours. It's so nice and updated that it shows all the other work we need to do in the house....much to my husband's shagrin ;-)

 + 6 moreBased on their skills and attention to detail, my rating for them would be an A+, but there wasn't any place to add the + to their grade. They have a team of specialists that AI belikeve are capable of doing just about any job. I will definitely be using them again, I just don know where, yet.
Description of Work: I have had multiple jobs done by The Repair Squad and they will continue to be my "Go To" contractor for any and all types of repairs or construction. I have had them install a new roof, skylights, repair damaged gutters and replace my windows. Recently they helped me remodel our master bathroom and they did an exemplary job of it. I did the demolition of the old bathroom and provided all of the materials for the remodel. We took it down to the bare walls and floors. They built a new shower enclosure and a bath tub platfoorm. New ceilings were installed and all of the plumbing and electrical was reconfigured to the new requirements. They tiled and finished the floors and walls and installed an in-floor heating system. The finished product is a showplace. It has a spa-like feel. Based on their skills and attention to detail, My rating for them would be an A+. but there wasn't any place to add the + to their grade. They have a team of specialists that I beleive would be capable of doing just about any job. I will be using them again, I just don't know where, yet.

 + 13 moreAll of my interactions with the repair squad have been consistently great. I call, they come within a day or two if it's not an emergency, send an estimate and arrive on time. They even fixed a roof repair in the rain when no one else would help us.
Description of Work: We were so lucky to find the repair squad when we were selling and buying a house. Needless to say, repairs in both homes had to be done. We used the repair squad for various repairs over the year. They have reasonable estimates and excellent communication with the customer. We have had repairs including siding, flashing, fence, roof, and gutters. They have a great scheduler, estimator and repairmen. I love that they will email you the estimates.

In addition to providing quality workmanship, Wayne of Repair Squad has a "can do" attitude...listening to what I wanted, offering suggestions and calmly handling any hiccup that comes along with a solution. The work was performed timely and there was rarely a day that someone wasn't working on the remodel and getting the job done.  + 0 moreHe was actually really good. His name was Wayne. Faufley. I would absolutely use him again without a question. He was probably slightly more expensive but I got every penny that I paid for. I have a 200-year-old Pennsylvania stone farmhouse and I had cedar shingles. He took the shingles off, put plywood on and then put the roof on, which was a 50-year shingle. They added 2 vents. I have snow guards and he went up and painted them for me even though they were a different color, he painted them to match my roof. They double grilled them in and sealed everything. He was fantastic. It was a lot of work and they did really good work.
Description of Work: I used Waybank Contracting to replace my roof.
