Before coming to the house he called to coordinate an appointment and to recommend that I contact Pennsylvania One for a utility digging permit. All this was new to me and he was very helpful explaining who to contact to make sure we wouldn't be interrupting any underground utilities before he started the work. He was on-time for the appointment, did the work very pleasantly and neatly. The task produced over 3 cubic yards of root mulch in an area with about an 12-foot diameter digging at least two feet into the earth. I volunteered to clean up the mulch produced because I wanted to save money doing the grunt work myself, also because I wanted to spread the root mulch over my garden beds. After I removed the mulch it was clear that there were still some very large, deep roots that needed to be removed before I could replant a tree in the same location. I called Kelly Jack to explain the situation and he willingly came back to my house to remove the few remaining large roots so I could replant. This generated another few wheelbarrow loads of free mulch. He didn't charge me for coming back and was very gracious about helping me finished the project. He returned quickly so the landscaper I hired to plant the new tree could do so quickly. I hope I never lose another tree, but if I do then I would not hesitate to contact Kelly Jack of Stumpbusters to remove the stump!
