Description of Work: Removal of 2 trees, including stumps, and extensive trimming of other trees on our property. Estimates for this job varied by almost a factor of 3.

Description of Work: Crew did a great job removing dead limbs and raising canopies of several large trees. Cleaned up all debris and did not leave until we were completely satisfied with results.

Description of Work: Removed a large tree from our back yard. Everyone we dealt with was pleasant, friendly and professional. From the estimator to the office to the technicians. Work was done quickly. Jobsite was cleaned up. |I would reach out to Strobert again for any additional services.

Description of Work: We hired Strobert to take down several trees and to trim up two others. On Thursday morning they were supposed to be there and didn't show up and my husband had to call to find out what happened. They said they had problems with some of their equipment and would be late getting to us. They finally showed up in the afternoon and removed the one tree by the house. They took the branches off the other trees in the back yard and left them laying on the ground and left when it started to rain. It was a huge mess of branches making the back yard totally unuseable. They told my husband they would be back on Saturday to finish. He asked why they couldn't come back the next day and was told that they had other work scheduled. They never showed on Saturday or the following Monday and we didn't hear anything from them about when they would be back, so I called them and asked what was going on. They said they weren't planning to come back because my husband told them not to! I told them that wasn't the case, he had asked if they could come back before Saturday and was told "no" so we were expecting to see them on Saturday and it was now Tuesday and still nothing. They finally scheduled us for the following Saturday - 9 days after they started. That Saturday morning again no one showed up so I called again and was told that they would have to contact the field boss and see what they could do. I did get a call back that they were on another job but could be there by lunch time. Around 1PM several guys showed up, walked to the back yard, looked around and then went to my front yard to sit down in the shade under my tree. About 30 minutes later the supervisor showed up and work finally began, but then they wanted to pull their equipment up on my neighbor's lawn to make it easier for them! My neighbor nicely declined to have their lawn torn up. Strobert worked until dark and got the branches cleaned up and the trees taken down and then told me they were leaving. I asked when the two other trees would be trimmed up and got "which two trees are those?". They did come later during the following week and trimmed the two trees, but I was disappointed in how it was done. This is not the experience that we were expecting based on the ratings in Angie's List. The work got done eventually, but required way too much follow-up. I would have expected them to call us if they were going to be a half day late, and I would have expected them to reschedule us as soon as possible since it was their fault that they started late the first time. To be left hanging to get the work finished up and having to call multiple times to get something done is not what I consider good service. We paid for a professional trimming service to get a good job. Our holly looks like someone took an electric hedge trimmer to it. Very disappointed.

Description of Work: They picked out and planted 13 new trees and transplanted 3 other trees.

Description of Work: They took out three dead trees and replaced three trees they had previously planted that had died at no additional charge. They also sprayed for bag worms.

Description of Work: Had 2 medium to large trees removed and stumps ground. Crews were professional and courteous. Since we needed to get the utilities in to mark the underground services there was about 3 weeks between tree removal and stump grinding but the folks at Strobert handled all of it. And they did it all at a fair price.

Description of Work: These folks were in my neighborhood cutting down trees for one of my neighbors. When they left the truck with the wood chips spilled chips in several places including in front of my home. I sent an email to them and within 48 hours they had sent someone back and cleaned up all of the messes and they were very apologetic for what happened. Gotta love companies like them. I'll use them in the future.
