STAPLES THE OFFICE SUPERSTORE

Their charges were reasonable. They did it right then while I waited because they weren't terribly busy. They did it on colored paper. They also took some architectural drawings and copied them onto an SD card which was a little different from the normal copying and printing. The architectural copies were huge. It was very convenient and they were very helpful. They did a nice job. I didn't compare their prices. They were professional and very good.

To them it was something pretty simple. They took care of it and were very reasonably priced. I didn't know that Staples repaired computers but my wife did. We did some comparative pricing over the phone and there was a flat fee that Staples had to check it out. Depending on what they found, that flat fee could either cover the repairs and/or parts or not. Staples was quite a bit cheaper than others. My wife found out what was wrong with the computer. I was standing there and he explained a little bit at first and then there was something else and we wanted to make sure that what was on there was backed up. So he provided, I guess some software for that. My wife took the software and talked to them so she was in there and she ended up picking it up as well. She had been there at least 3 times and I was just there once to drop it off. My laptop is working fine now. We were very pleased. I guess there were 2 people, one when I called, I got somebody's name and she said to ask for her when I bring the computer in, which I did. He was very efficient and professional. I think somebody else actually checked it out and did the repairs plus the backing up of something's we had on there that I didn't want to lose. So they certainly seemed to know what they were doing, at least the Staples that we took is, I can't speak for other Staples. They had a separate part of the store that was set aside for computers and mechanics. So they weren't the sales people or whatever, not that I am bad mouthing them. They were mostly guys who couldn't have been more than mid 20's. We actually told them that there was no hurry because we will out of town for 3 days and I don't know if they called us or my wife called them but there was communication while we were out of town, and everything was done even though we told them that we won?t be able to pick it up for several more days except for the backup. That was not really mentioned when we took it in for repairs. Once we got back in town, my wife went in there and discussed all that needed to be done and it was done by the next day.
