Mike was very professional and his crew did an excellent job. Arrived ahead of schedule and completed job much faster that I thought it would take. Cleaned entire area after the work was completed. Would definitely use his company again for any upcoming electrical work.

Mike was prompt, courteous, and professional. I've been "rewiring" a 65 yr old house and have been able to handle everything up to this point. However, after spending two days dealing with this issue, I was getting more and more perplexed. Mike came in and immediately fixed the 3-way switches and the switch to the overhead light. He then relentlessly searched for the neutral and ultimately found the problem. He was relentless and ultimately pulled through for us. Everything works now and we gained an electrician for all of my future issues.

Mr Stapleford was on time and very pleasant to talk to. He even took time when explaining things to you, which I very much appreciated. He was very quick with my installations and I would definitely recommend him to anyone as well as call him again for any of my electrical needs.

Everything went as well as it could have.

They were on time, did the job quickly and even went the extra step to make sure the chandelier was clean and all light bulbs were working.

We made an appointment, bought the fixtures, and he arrived not only on time but 10 minutes early. Was completely professional, personable, and polite. Even made friends with our yappy dog who then didn't yap. The work was excellent, finished much sooner than my husband expected. P.S. it's fine if my address is made available to Mr. Stapleford, but I hope it won't be made available to the public!

The gentleman came when he said he would and was on time. He quickly discovered why our outdoor electrical sockets were not working. He replaced them after explaining in detail what was wrong and wired them up correctly. He was very polite and he is very knowledgeable. He did not waste any time and completed the job in a timely manner. The cost for the job was very reasonable. We will definite;y use his services again and I would highly recommend him.

Mike is an excellent, highly-professional electrician. In combination with his competitive rates, he is clearly the electrician to work with in the Wilmington area. Whenever we have small electrical issues over the years, he'll also be the person we'll call. I've worked with Mike on previous projects, and was comfortable with him. Because the current project was so significant for us, I got other quotes, and Mike's were strongly competitive. Mike and his team ensured every step went smoothly, with flexibility, professionalism, and appropriate responsiveness throughout the process. Mike's extensive experience as an electrician paid off over and over. He helped refine a general lighting and outlet plan basis the unique characteristics of our kitchen-- where beams got in the way of original considerations, he had clearly though out recommendations to counter. The wiring was set up rapidly, when the overall project needed, and with immediate approval by the inspector. I was always perfectly comfortable that any problems with project progress would come from things OTHER than electrical work. When a wire was accidentally cut by the carpenter, shutting of the house lights, Mike's crew immediately checked to see if this was an emergency, discussed what realistically worked for us to get the problem righted, and had it fixed with little fuss, basis a timeline that fit our needs. When we decided at the last minute to change some of the lights, and add a fixture, his team was right there with us, helping us figure out how to implement the change at low cost, and while keeping the overall project on time. When I had an unusual request for Mike to help me better understand a portion of the lighting and electrical aspects of kitchens, he immediately responded positively. He sat down and coached me through the aspects I needed to understand, and later set up time to discuss more deeply over dinner. The last few steps of this project are still coming, but I'm already looking forward to working with Mike on our next project, as well.

I found them through a friend. They put in fans for our bathrooms to get air out. We liked their work so much. They put lights in ceiling and recessed lighting in the kitchen. He did really a good job. Then there was problem with one thing and we called him back, he came and he tried to fix it. Few months later he called us back and he then did a conference and he said I got another idea for that thing and he came back and did it. I think it’s a one man operation. We ended up with 3 things we had to self find cables for the electric, that had to be done, then we did the two bathrooms upstairs and also down stairs and then we did the kitchen. They were good. The price was reasonable and we were satisfied.

Stapleford was the electrical subcontractor on a recent addition to our house. The addition was to be built off of an exterior wall where the electrical service entrance was located and the aerial line terminated. All exterior runs were placed in conduit, and an exterior master shut off was added. On our request, he also ran the main service line in the interior of the house in conduit. Once the service entrance was moved, he wired our new laundry room and unfinished garage. We had very specific needs and gave very specific instructions on the location of outlets, wiring runs, type of boxes, color of plates, GFCIs etc. Mike met and exceeded expectations. The garage is unfinished so all of his wiring work shows, and amazingly somehow it makes the garage look better. Mike was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. Mike was up to date on electric code (we pulled the manual before starting the job) and made sure everything was done to code. He also made many good suggestions on location and hardware. Occasionally, if one of the other trades was doing work that held him up, he'd come out on the weekend to finish up. Of all the trades we dealt with on this project, Mike was the best. We would definitely use him again. I give him the highest possible recommendation.
