Description of Work: The garage door sticks when it is first opened, making a clattering noise before it opens smoothly. They did not notice it and did not fix it. Waste of money for me. I was not here, but they should have caught the sticking of the door.

Description of Work: We took advantage of a promotion offered by Angie's List to have our garage door inspected and to install quiet rollers. The technician was early and waited for us to come home. He went right about his work and was finished in one hour. Our garage door has never benn so quiet. He explained what to look for in problems in the future and where to lubricate the rollers and how often. Never was pushy and I thought they would try to sell you a service agreement. I will call this company again for anything with the garage door

Description of Work: This was through angieslist deal. They were responsive and prompt. My garage door made a lot of noise and needed maintenance. I saw this 'special' deal for inspection, cnhangeig roler, and maintenance. After that, we were happy - hardly any noise, 'for a while'. About 6 months later, it got even worse than before. Lot of noise, door doesnt get closed properly. I called the company, but they said the job was performed too long ago. OK.. $99 is worth 6 months.

After looking at your account, I did see that the appointment you had scheduled for 6 months after the original work ended up getting cancelled, so we were never able to take a second look at your door. We do cover any of our parts that are under warranty, but without having a technician come out and look over your door, it's very hard to determine if something is covered under that warranty while on the phone. To avoid a customer feeling lied to, we choose to allow the technicians determine this, rather than our customer service representatives. Description of Work: I called Precision Door to get an estimate for a garage door, the appointment was made for 11:30 and I received a call about 1 hour later. The salesperson thought the appt. was for 3:30. I was leaving the house when he called and I told him that I might be back in the late afternoon. He said he'd call, but never did. No one has called from the office to reschedule the appt, so I guess my business isn't needed.

Description of Work: Our garage door broke - really broke - so we called Clark and Sons. They came out the next business day and fixed what I thought was unrepairable. The serviceman fixed the door, oiled it and replaced a few rollers all for an excellent price.
