Find a company that actually wants to do business you before shopping at Old Country Gardens. Under staffed, inefficient, not customer focused and they lose your order paperwork with all your personal details on it. 1st: During their 30% off sale, we wanted to buy a tree. We waited 10 minutes for someone to help us as we stood by the trees, then went it get help at the front desk and they told us someone would be out and ended up waiting another 15 minutes. Finally, had to go grab a random employee who gave us a tag and said 'go for it'. 2nd: While we got 30% off our tree, we still agreed to pay the $150 delivery and installation fee that was to happen in 7-10 days. Fine, but they never called. We called them twice and never got a response. Finally, now 10+ days and several attempts later, we send an email and finally get a phone call. 3rd: During the phone call, they tell us that a) their employees did not communicate that we had called before (not our problem); that b) THEY LOST OUR PAPERWORK (not our problem) and c) that they should have never sold us the tree to begin with because it would go into shock since it was so mature! (Really, really not our problem) This place obviously does not have their priorities in line because focusing on the customer is not one of them. All the plants should be watered and handled before you open so that your staff was free to help your customers. The response we received is that the next time we are in, we will get a gift card (no amount disclosed). They should have paid for the tree and the installation when it could be installed in the fall or offered us a credit on a tree that could be installed now. Incredibly, incredibly frustrating.

I called the company for an appointment to provide landscape designing to our residential property. An appointment time was set up for a week later. I rushed home during my lunch time on the day of the appointment. No one showed up and, to date, no one has ever called me back.

They are a great landscaping company. Christian is the landscape architect and he is excellent. He notices stuff. All the plants they use are indigenous to the area. He does beautiful work. I look like Homes and Gardens by the time he finishes with my place. He is very, very good. He is not inexpensive but he will work with you. He will do a plan and then you can do parts of it at a time which is what I did. He is very direct and doesn't pull any punches, which is what I like. I laugh at him all the time. He is funny and has a real dry sense of humor. He is very knowledgeable and knows his stuff. I would recommend him highly.

The price was reasonable compared to another company. I compared the prices. The ideas and their concept were very nice. The guy who came out, I liked the way he presented it because it was much like I wanted. He was professional. They haven't started the work yet.

See above. Also, they referred me to a wonderful hardscaper, Keener Sensenig, who did a beautiful job of laying a wall of pavers around my air conditioner to level it and to keep the underlying support material from leaking out from under the unit.

The landscaper came to my property the day of after I called for an appointment, and said that he would provide an esimate for the work within a week. I called after a week passed, and was told that it would be sent to me the following week. After not recieving an estimate or a call, I left a message to give me a call with the status, and still have not heard anything. I was really interested in having the work done, but this unprofessionalism has made any prospect impossible.

Everything went very well. They do an excellent job.

I was very delighted. Old Counrty Gardens laid out a great landscape design that made sense for year-round.

They have done our landscaping and it is just fabulous. Since they completed the work, we have gone on two garden tours. Two groups have come to our home to walk through our garden. Our garden is beautiful. They are helping us right now by removing the root of a tree that has grown into our foundation. They are masters at garden design, very knowledgeable. I had asked for a garden that required no upkeep, and I don't have to do anything. I got exactly what I asked for and it is beautiful.
