Company was very professional! From start to finish very pleased with the quality of work.

We had the company email us an estimate on May 10th, and scheduled for June 9th to have a dead tree removed, and some trimming done around secondary power lines. Today, June 9th, they arrived in 2 trucks at about 8:15am. At first, they spent some time outside looking at the dead tree, which they had previously seen when they did the estimate. No one tried knocking on our door. All of a sudden, I see them leaving in their trucks. I run outside to the second truck, which has two young guys. I ask where they are going, and one says that someone in the first truck will call me in a moment. THREE HOURS later, the secretary/receptionist calls me to apologize. This is after I left two voicemails asking someone to call me back about why they left without letting me know why. She informs me that they company did not feel safe doing such a tall tree. Why didn't the guy doing the estimate a month ago know that? Why did no one have the courtesy to knock on the door? Also, we had a different tree in the back that we just wanted trimmed, was that not possible, either? It might not have been for this company, but no one had the decency to let us know! **As I'm writing this, Sean from the company called. Apparently he was in the first truck. He claims no one called him until two or so hours later to tell him I came out to the second truck. He was apologizing as well, but did not sound genuine. Sean was the one who came out to do the original estimate. He said he didn't think anyone was home this morning. What's the harm in knocking to find out? And both of our cars were outside. Do you know let people know that you are at their home before you start chopping a tree down? I haven't signed anything at this point, either. Were you going to chop a tree down in someone's yard without any sort of signed form or agreement? Very disappointed and upset that I waited a month for this appointment, to not only be told that the job can't be done, but for the discourtesy from the company, and a wasted morning waiting to hear back from the company.
