Tom and his team did an excellent job removing carpet and refinishing hardwood, and replacing vinyl flooring in our kitchen with LVP. I’d highly recommend the services of this company!!

Description of Work: Refinish hardwood in 2 rooms and install new carpet in 5 rooms. All work done incorrectly and needs to be redone per inspector. Hardwood sanded with wrong grit leaving large swirls that are visible. Carpet install sub-contracted to outside guy who sub-contracted it to his brother who was not a licensed or experienced installer. Carpet cut short at all walls, seems splitting, carpet not sealed and is fraying along walls, and there are large cuts along door ways and corners with floor visible. The owner attempted to correct issues by stapling carpet to floor. After an inspector told us the carpet can't be repaired and needs to be replaced, the owner has ignored us for over 3 months and would not work with the BBB to resolve. We are now going to court to resolve. This company is not a member of the BBB and is not certified in carpet installation.

Where the dogs went before, he just covered it up. I think there was mildew between the carpet and the sub floor. I feel he should of cut this part of the floor out and replaced it before installing the new hardwood floor. He replaced the flooring in the kitchen and just placed the flooring over the old floor. This has caused the flooring to be higher. My floor is not even from the dinning room to the kitchen.

This job was completed over 2 years ago, it was done in stages. the first stage was to rip out and replace several hundred square feet of pet stained areas. we did this and then sanded and refinished the floors. the customer loved them and then hired us to do the kitchen floors, they did not want to remove the existing kitchen floor because of cost. the customer chose to go over the old flooring even after we advised them that the floor would be higher then the joining rooms. they have given us several referrals to friends and family members, this is the first time that i have heard a complaint. the fact that over two years have gone by without any complaint makes me wonder if this is driven by something else. the fact that they say we removed carpet is 100 % false we never removed any carpet as the job that we did was to existing hardwood flooring, the back family room they wanted us to do was the only room that had carpet and my cost was to high for them, i believe they hired another flooring contractor recently and have us confused with them. please look into this and let us know the results. At the longest yard our goal is 100%customer satisfaction.
