Nothing was second rate about the work or follow up. I had both the upstairs and downstairs HVAC systems replaced. I brought in 5 companies for estimates. The Horizon rep by far was the most knowledgeable and the one most interested in doing business. There was a question about whether the refrigerant lines for the system in the attic could be run through the house and the push was to have them run outside. I had to stay firm that they needed to run inside. A little drama, but the crew was determined to make it work and they did. A small access opening had to be made in the closet, but Horizon quickly assigned a carpenter to repair the wall. The details of the installation were impressive - plumbing work was first class, as was the exterior venting of the furnace. Numerous air and water sensors were installed and are monitored by the system. Both crews were very respectful and even helped provide a neighbor with a pallet she wanted that was left over from the new equipment. All was cleaned up and debris removed. I highly recommend Horizon.

I'm not satisfied with Horizon Services. 1) Consultant Reginald Miller is a very impolite salesperson, as he never returned my numerous phone calls and never replied to a dozen text messages within 48 hours, before and after the installation of the HVAC system ever since the time I signed the contract, in opposition to what he promised during the in-home estimate. 2) Workmanship is not up to the salesman's claim as being top-notch, for which I was willing to pay a premium price. In reality the new Lennox HVAC installed has a poor alignment between Evaporator Coil and Furnace, which result in wider crevices around and in-between, with much more leaking than my 16-year-old Goodman HVAC system, as you can feel the strong wind blowing out in all directions when the system is in operation. The install technician told me that it's normal, however, I have got other opinions by comparing it with the craftmanship of my old HVAC system. 3) Crews changed the existing way to direct condensate water where instead of running to the main plumbing tube, they drilled a 2-inch hole on the drywall and led the condensate to the outside of the house. However, they neither insulated the drywall area around the new PVC tube outlets inside the house, which is approximately 3 square feet large, nor they extended the outlet farther enough from the exterior wall, which is only 1.5 inches outward. The gushing condensate dropped from high and made a deep hole on the ground. It splashes all over outside and gets the exterior wall wet. These are the issues that must be addressed as early as possible, or it may cause structural damage to the basement wall soon. 4) After I paid the crew leader $14,000 in full on Aug. 12, 2021, and saw the service truck drive off, I went to clean up my driveway immediately as there were scattered iron nails and cut metal pieces. To my surprise, I found a big white fresh spit in the mid of the driveway under the sunset light, which was utterly gross, disrespectful, and non-professional. 5) I called up Horizon Services regarding those issues above, and waited full 2 weeks for a technician to show up at my house. It's a very long wait. 6) On the installation day I noticed HVAC team members doing some metal/PVC pipe works on my front lawn without any covers. Three days after their work, there are two big sections of green grass died and turned yellowish.

The only thing they know is upselling, they have zero knowledge on how to diagnose an AC which stops working. I easily did better than them after reading a book on how A/C works. They have no sense to understand the reads of superheating and subcool and get to know what is the real issue behind it.

The engineers overrided the recommendation of the salesman and initially installed a furnace Is with a much higher BTU rating than my small place required resulting in excessively dry air which for me, was a health risk. After I complained they somewhat reluctantly replaced it with an appropriate furnace. The sales representative did strive to do what it took to satisfy me which I Greatly appreciate. And the technicians and installers were and installers were very good.

It was good. The new furnace was installed on time and very efficiently. The workmen were particularly careful to not track any dirt into the house, even though the furnace is in the basement. The lead installation man took care to fully explain the functions of the new thermostat and what was needed to take care of the unit regarding periodic maintenance, such as changing filters. I am happy with the work.

Had an appointment for annual maintenance checkup. The Horizon tech was ontime, neat and polite. He checked all the routine items and resolved all of my concerns. He made a couple of recommendations for cleaner air circulation. All services were performed on my maintenance contract for no charge. This is the second heatpump that I've purchased from Horizon.

Came to fix furnace and just days after the repair the system was not working again. Another repair person from Horizon Came back and said that needed a different repair and therefore the repair was not cover under previous visit. To repair, they tried to charge even more than the first time plus insisted in purchasing a contract se vice with them. Obviously went with a different repair person who fixed the problem for much less
