I highly recommend Homestar Remodeling! Anton, one of the owners, did an inspection of the roof and confirmed what we already believed to be true - that we could need a new roof within 5 years but that it wasn't urgent. We opted to have the work done and not wait. We were very impressed with his presentation. He was very knowledgable and professional and gave me his cell phone number in case I had questions. He respectfully answered all of my questions and was easy to reach. The project manager, Rodolfo, supervised the installation. The job was done quickly and efficiently. They used all of the best GAF materials which have a 50 year warranty. They also fully guaranteed their labor (not pro-rated!) No deposit was required. Price was very reasonable. Any concerns that I had were fully and quickly addressed. Because my driveway was too narrow to accommodate their truck and the portable dumpster, they had to drive over the lawn. Because it had been raining, the ground was soft and they left ruts in the lawn. When the job was finished, Rodolfo came back to repair it! The roof and skylights look great. We are delighted with the work and with all of the personalities of the people in this company. They are really great to work with!

The company solicited in home estimates for replacement windows in our area. The company had 1 review (roof) on Angie's list and good ratings from the BBB. We agreed to get an estimate. It was the first contact we had with a window company.The salesman arrived punctually and provided a thorough and competent presentation of the product. He then presented a "good for one year" estimate of the cost. At that point, he produced another estimate (about $1500 less) that was "good for today only". We informed him that we couldn't make a decision without having other companies and products to compare. At that point the "good for today only" price dropped another $1000. We still said no and parted ways. We understand that this is a sales tactic that is used in this industry. We are seniors and sensitive to actions that we perceive may be intended to influence us into making decisions that are not in our best interests. We proceeded to get estimates from several other highly rated (many testimonials) companies on Angie's list. We found similar products and felt we were provided the right information to be able to make an informed decision without feeling pressured by a time restraint.

Steve, Justin, and Ross were great. Kept me informed what was going on and were very polite.

From the initial conversation with the company to the installation we were very happy; they were very professional throughout. We remodeled our home and have dealt with many different contractors and haven't always gotten the best experience. It was very refreshing to have a good experience with one and them being upfront and honest with the answers of my questions I asked. Between the product, price and professionalism I was very happy with the experience.
