I recommend Homestar to anybody who needs windows. The guys who knocked on my door were super polite, and the sales representative Seth was very informative and friendly. The windows look amazing, the installers worked really hard all day and they were super clean and nice. And my home feels absolutely amazing now!

These people have absolutely no idea how to work in center city Philadelphia. I signed a contract in January, asked for the work to be done in March, was completed on April 28. 2 walls of siding and 8 windows took 19 days, a work that they promised could be done in 3 days tops (including windows, siding and roof). After telling the sales person to come to the house 2 times to make sure everything was included on the contract price, they called me and charged me and additional $1800. Not only that, they called me several days after the installer ripped all the siding from my walls, so I couldn't refuse. even thou the contract said all labor and materials included. I was so disappointed that cancelled the roof work. First windows installer threw a tantrum because he could not park right in front of the house and he could not work in the house because the plumber was doing work in the bathroom. I told the scheduler couple times the plumber needed one of the window frames to come out so the tub could come in. Plumber had to do the windows guy work because the windows guy walked out on me. Super professional. These guys are used to suburban homes with double garage driveway, come to the city and don't know how to handle it. Second installer was very good but I had to accommodate to his schedule. If it wasn't because I work from home this would have been a total disaster. Scheduling is a mess. 4 of them came to my house prior to start the work and still they were clueless. Save money and frustration and call someone else.

The job was done quickly and cleanly with attention to detail. The cleanup was immaculate and the roof looks great.

Homestar did an excellent job and I would definitely hire them again. Our house is over twenty years old and still had the original windows. The representative handled all of the home association paperwork and provided great customer service. More importantly, the new windows and sliding glass door are incredible.

I am extremely satisfied with the price, service and installation of my windows and patio door. The salesman was very polite, knowledgeable and explained the process very well. The installers were totally thorough and fast! I can most certainly recommend Home Star Remodeling with confidence!

Work went very well all completed in one day, A thorough cleanup was done after the work was completed, including a magnetic sweep of the area for any nails or metal debris. We are good for the next 50 years. Looks great too! Thank you Homestar!

Windows were installed. They have yet to install my shutters. HSR, sent a representative to my home. I thought the visit was to install my shutters. The visit was for the HSR, to contract me for other projects. My shutters are still in the garage. I'm a Disabled Veteran. This is unexceptable.

Job went well, I had 6 inch gutters installed and a a high efficiency front door installed and it went incredibly smooth. We love the door and the gutters are working great.

We were at a home remodeling convention. A sales person had a terrarium window on display so we looked at it. He asked if he could schedule a free estimate. We informed him that we only needed one window replaced, a terrarium window. He said that was fine and scheduled a visitor for an estimate at 9:30am the next Saturday. At 7:58am I received a call that went to voicemail asking to confirm the appointment. I returned the call at 8:23am and also received voicemail - I confirmed the appointment. At 9:36 no one had arrived. I called back and reached a person who informed me that they don't come out for one window. I informed the rep that the policy makes logistical sense, but that I'd had that same conversation with a rep at the convention who informed us that one window was not a problem. I asked that the rep on the phone please educate the convention representatives. Then the call went wrong. The rep on the phone said that he made multiple calls to me and hadn't heard back. The rep basically tried to place blame for Home Star missing their appointment and failing to communicate their four window minimum policy on me. I let the rep know that I was done with Home Star and would be leaving this review. I do not recommend this company as I find their presales professionalism lacking. I can only imagine how they behave AFTER they have your money.

My experience with Homestar Remodeling was very positive. They have a professional staff who are very educated on the products and also punctual to appointments. The installation work was meticulous and the installers cleaned up after themselves, which I appreciate. I also appreciated the time they took to explain the scope of work and approximately how long it would take and kept to the schedule. Very courteous and respectful team of people. I would highly recommend them to others and use them for future projects. In addition, the President of Operations, Justin, was such a nice, personable guy, provided updates on the work and was always there to answer any questions or concerns I had. Such a comforting feeling! Too often I find that people are quick to give negative feedback but not often enough do you see positive reviews. I feel they more than deserved a positive review.

While all people I dealt with were very friendly, several errors resulting in vastly different price quotes initially gave me an uneasy feeling. After agreeing on a price for the work, the scheduling process was very easy. The day of the job, the workers who showed up were wearing shirts and drove a truck which appeared to belong to a different company. HomeStar insisted during the quote process they don't sub out the roof work (although they do for the gutter work). i found this confusing. The project manager insisted the sub company had recently been acquired by HomeStar and he would speak to them about the signage. The day of the work went well, but they made a bit more mess than I would like. They initially draped the areas surrounding the house, but when some of the drapes fell down, they continued work instead of stopping to fix the drapes. Afterward, the cleanup of the site left more trash than I was happy with, but HomeStar did come out again to do another sweep. All in all, I feel they did a good job; just feel some of the events seem a bit shady.

As seniors, we are on a fixed income and price as well as quality was important. Brian did an outstanding job explaining the product and procedure. Unfortunately, we couldn't afford the "Cadillac" roof so we did not use this company.

Outstanding. Andrew the Sales professional walked me through the variety of products available and the start to finish approach that take for customer Service. After we agreed to a far price for the work I had timely follow-up from my assigned Project Manager for the role. The crew that performed the work was meticulous in their attention to detail and worked extremely hard in some cold cold temperatures to complete the project as efficiently as humanly possible. I am very please with the end result and complete look of my brand new Cape Cod Siding. You will not have a better overall experience in hiring a remodeling company.

Scheduled a free estimate after being approached by a salesperson while the company was working in my neighborhood. Refused to meet with me because my wife was unavailable and was not going to make an immediate decision. Typical sales tactics at work. Made me feel really uncomfortable. Do not ring my door bell and offer something if you don't plan on following through. I altered my schedule for this meeting.

They communicated through every step of the process. The crew came on time and worked non stop till the job was complete. I've never seen guys work so hard and so smart. 5 guys stripped my old roof off and put on a new roof in a single day and left my property clean. The first thing they did was attach tarps all around the house to keep the old shingles and nails out of our bushes. The magnetic nail pick up tool ensured no loose nails were left behind. It is rare to find a company you can trust to do what they say they will do. Home Star did just that. They offer a complete GAF roofing system that came with a 50 year warranty.

1. Representatives were very personable and informative. They walked the entire property looking at windows, roof, siding and gutters. Informed us that the windows, roof and siding were all in excellent shape and did not try to up-sell us to something we didn't need. We had called them regarding gutters (which were in HORRIBLE shape) so were happy they didn't try to convince us that we needed more. 2. Price was negotiated without much pressure. Price seemed reasonable upon searching other companies after they left. 3. Workers showed up on time (a rarity in NJ anymore), worked quickly and efficiently, cleaned up after their work, and walked through the job before leaving to answer any questions or concerns. Very professional team. 4. We got both a follow up phone call and a follow up visit to walk the job. Again, very professional and open to questions and concerns (of which we had few). Overall, a very positive interactions. I would use this company again for other jobs.

It is my first home project as a first time home buyer. I was not sure how to chose and finish this project without much experience. But luckily HomeStar agent helped to complete it without any hassle or surprises. From the begging to end of installation, everything went as planned. Every step was explained up front like the date and time installation people arrives and what they do in your home. Installation done by professional from HomeStar. They came on the company uniform and explained everything and finished in a day. After the installation, they cleaned everything and It was kept like even no one notice work has been done. Quality of the window is great. I really enjoyed this experience with HomeStar.

I love my new roof. I received a free estimate, with no hassle or pressure to purchase. The staff was courteous and responsive throughout the entire process. I received an appointment within a reasonable timeframe, and I couldn't be more pleased with the installation.
