It didn't and it won't. Konrad came out and reviewed the job, measured and never sent me an estimate. i waited three weeks, called him for an update after waiting two weeks and he said "I was in the mix." I know I'm not the only person that needs siding, but I am planning to spend a large amount of money on this improvement project and don't need to be another person "in the mix". Very disappointing.

I had called for an estimate to replace a skylight. I was told by the secretary that Homecraft, Inc did replace skylights. She transferred me to the sales rep and I asked if they replaced skylights and he stated yes. Then asked me how many skylights did I want replaced and I said only 1. He then told me he would have his assistant call me back to give me an estimate over the phone or would schedule an appointment. Since no one called back I called the next day and the sales rep told me that they do not do the skylight unless we do the whole roof. This is the classic " bait and switch". I called 4/29/2015.

I called to request an inspection since our roof is nearly 20 years old and due to hail last year in our area. We had not yet called our insurance company, because we did not know if we had hail damage. Understandably, Paul did inquire specifically what my concerns were regarding the roof. I explained our situation and he stated he was "shocked" we had not already contacted our insurance company and "of course" we have hail damage. We only wanted someone to inspect our roof and tell us what our options were, not speak condescendingly over the phone with me, also specifically calling me "sweetheart," which is completely inappropriate. When my husband called back to cancel the appointment due to the tone of our conversation, Paul hung up on him after stating he had 2 granddaughters and did not feel he was being chauvinistic. A simple apology for the misunderstanding would have sufficed, but clearly that did not happen. Instead further rude and inappropriate interaction occurred. I'm sure based on their reviews that Homecraft provides quality work, but first impressions go a long way and this one was unfortunately poor.

Konrad was very thorough with his quote and details of the work to be done. When he found out this was my first quote for the roof, he took the extra time to explain everything to be sure I understood. We got 2 other quotes after that, but went with Homecraft based on price and wait time. The actual wait for the job to be scheduled was 6-7 weeks, in line with his estimate. Elliott scheduled the job a week or two in advance and was very responsive to phone calls throughout the project. The job was delayed 1 day due to freezing rain, but the next day the crew started early (about 7:15 AM) and had the whole house and deck tarped and the old roof stripped in just a couple of hours. Where workers had to enter the house to replace a skylight, they put down dropcloths to protect our floors. The skylight and main section of the roof were finished that day, then the rest was finished by 3 PM the second day. The roof looks great and I don't hear any more noises in the wind like I did with the old roof. After walking around to inspect the work, I noticed a side of one shingle sticking up on the garage. When Elliott came for final paperwork and payment, I mentioned it to him and he had it fixed that afternoon. I am pleased with the quality of work and the value for the price, as well as with their customer service.

Their windows are excellent and have held up very well. They are a wonderful company! The courtesy and promptness are all excellent here. They offer competitive pricing. I had 6 windows done last for about $3,000 so about $550/window and that's including insulation and everything. They put brand new entry way wood/composite on the doors so everything looks brand new. I plan to hire them again for a storm door.

Konrad gave me the Angiest list discount and a good price. I liked what I had read abount Homecraft so I went with them. I even spoke to Paul, the owner about my concerns of color etc. and Paul was understanding. So I signed the contract. They removed the old roof and put on a new GAF roofing system. The crew showed up on the day planned and got the work done in one day. I had some leaks that I was not even aware of and a few pieces of plywood were replaced during the project. After the work was done I noticed a few minor corrections that needed to be addressed and showed John when he came out to see how things went the following day. I even spoke again to Paul the owner and Paul told me, "These issues are not your problem, they are our problem and we will take care of them, do not worry" That was a very nice thing to hear. I went to Flordia before the corrections could be made and they made them when I was gone. Even after the corrections were made I was concerned about another very minor issue. Nick came right out to my house and helped me understand my concern was over nothing. Therefore, Homecraft did everything they could to make me happy. They were prompt, courteous, and willing to do whatever it took to make me happy. I would hire them again and recommend them for your roof project. I like the GAF and Homecrafts warranty in that if I ever get a leak or whatever, Homecraft will be there for me

My experience with Homecraft was excellent. Their owner/manager, John, repeatedly went back and forth with my insurance company to ensure that I was compensated appropriately. They were prompt and pleasant. They removed and replaced all of the roofing materials in one day, and the end product looks great!! I would highly recommend Homecraft for any service they offer!!

I am still in the middle of checking references. If I decide to move forward with this company, I will follow up with an additional review once the work is complete. I did like Michael and appreciated his professionalism, the quality of the product he brought with him to show me and their local presence in the Chester County area.

Project went well. Looks like good workmanship. Will be able to tell better after the first heavy rain to see if everything drains correctly (which was the problem I was having). The only additional feedback is around consultation on the project. With the vented soffits, the gable vents should be closed off for the ridge vent to work properly. This was not highlighted. Similar situation happened on another project I had them do where the did not highlight additional considerations connected with the work they were doing. So great on the project that they are working on, but needs improvement on giving the homeowner a holistic view of all that should be done.

We were very impressed with their punctuality and their service. We had used them over 20 years ago to install new windows on our house in Claymont and remembered their excellent service then, which is why we ended up selecting them for this job. Their salesman explained their product thoroughly and what exactly they were installing. He also explained the roofing materials and the quality of skylights being used. They were here a full day and part of the morning of the next day. They did a great job. We would recommend them to our neighbors.

We received 2 other estimates and Homecraft came in the middle. We have a 20' wide townhouse with a high peak roof and one gable window in the front. We decided to use Homecraft because they had done previous work in the neighborhood, gave us references on our street, and seemed the most knowledgable out of the 3 companies we spoke to. Our initial consultation was with Mike Mulvihill, who submitted the necessary HOA paperwork for us, which was very helpful. We were able to schedule the job very quickly, which they completed in just 1 day. They discovered some rotten plywood after removing the old shingles, but were very clear and reasonable with the extra cost to replace the wood. The rest of the job went smoothly and we are very happy with the quality of our new roof.

When getting the estimate, the sales person was well prepared, friendly and professional. He had information and samples of products that would be used. I received the estimate before he left my home. I felt well-informed after our meeting. With the weather and other large projects already on their books, Homecraft was not able to start my project as soon as they had hoped. I received a call the week before Thanksgiving and they were able to fit me in the following week. I was always kept well informed as to when teams would be arriving and what work was going to be done on what day. With the snow and rain that we've had this winter, it did make it difficult sometimes to get things done, but I was always called and informed of timing. Everyone on the crews were very nice, professional, and very hard working. When the outside work was being done, my neighbors even commented on how hard working the siding crew was. Homecraft gave a fair estimate and came right in the middle of the other two estimates that I received. It was a hard decision to make because I was very impressed with one of the other companies also. Homecraft's lifetime guarantee of their work was what helped me make the final decision.

They did very well. They didn’t have to ruin my whole wall to get my door in which was a plus because my neighbor had to get half her wall taken out to get her door in but I don’t think she had the same people. We liked the price because we had a couple of other estimates too and they were the best priced. They were very professional.

Overall, it the process went smoothly. Had 4 basement old basement windows replaced - one with a dryer vent. I probably could have gotten it cheaper if I went and shopped extensively, but Homecraft is local, and they were quick to respond. Total of two visits - one for quoting and one for the install after the windows came in. There was some issues with the caulking after it dried, but it was minor, and something I could fix quickly, so I wasn't worried about it. Overall, I was happy with the job.

They were average, not anything to be excited about, but they weren't bad. Furthermore, they were pretty expensive.

The product Homecraft offered (Anderson doors) was of the highest quality, not a generic brand which many companies try to promote. The workmanship regarding the installation was perfect. When I need my windows replace, I will call Homecraft..

They're very good at answering phone calls, and callbacks. Nick and Paul are great folks to work with.

Replaced siding and repaired flat roof. Very professional. Did an outstanding job! Would recommend Homecraft.

Overall Excellent- I was very pleased with Homecraft and would use them again. Price was competitive. Windows were high quality. Installer was very skilled and did a great job.

Siding good, roof ok, garage door not squared off level, front door ok, cheap crappy storm door that I was charged $900+ for. I bought a nicer storm door at Lowes for $100., gutters ok, crappy gutter guards that had to be cleaned 4 times before I made them give me my money back ,but they only gave me $900 instead of the $1500 I had to pay to replace them. I WOULD NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. I DON'T know how they have stayed in business so long.....

Alex came out and evaluated my job after I contacted him based on his reviews on Angie's List. He showed up when he said he would and verbally provided me with a scope of services. After we agreed on the pricing - which was several thousand dollars cheaper than other estimates, we scheduled the work. Prior to starting the job, I needed to shift the start date and time because I was out of town and, due to weather delays on other jobs, Alex had to shift it once himself which was no problem (I think if i had really needed it done sooner, he'd have figured a way to do it). Alex called the day before he was planning to start the job so that we would be prepared and ready. He and his crew showed up when he said they would and Alex again reviewed what was going to be done. The crew worked long and hard (my neighbor showed up and commented on it, too) and completed the job when expected. I needed a leak under some siding looked at and Alex had his crew take care of that for me as well in the original pricing. The payment term was 100% at the end of the job. When our schedules didn't align, Alex was very flexible about getting paid (that's pretty considerate when you're owed about $8,000). Because of issues on my end, Alex ended up coming to my office for us to complete the process - this was very helpful to me. I'd highly recommend Alex and A Parker Contracting and would definitely use them again.

I have a large house with 4 skylights which is why the price is high. Overall the price was slightly below competitors, but they did the roof on my neighbors house, were gaf certified, and had good ratings on angies list so decided to go with them. We were having trouble picking a color so they tacked up several samples to help us decide. It was a 3 day job and they started and finished exactly when they said they would. I would definitely use them again and would have no problem referring them to friends and family.

We found them to be on the high side. They're pretty unprofessional because they had workers I remember seeing in the dumpsters. I think that was not good to be doing that. They were pretty responsive and they were there on time.

Of four quotes, they took the longest to respond and had the highest price. Seemed professional.

They were very professional but only interested in using their specific products they were not interested in listening to the things we were interested in. We were told we would have to find someone else to insulate the attic for instance. They had a cookie cutter approach to how they would do things, and we felt they were very expensive.
